My wife and I stayed at the anniversary and the sultans palace room and had a fantastic time. We were celebrating a three day weekend and a staycation and just really needed to get out of the house for a bit. I was very happy we went with anniversary in. The sultans palace featured to statue elephants in the room, a very large Jacuzzi tub for two, a waterfall shower, a TV with lots of movies to choose from, and a small picnic table for food, card games, and just hanging out. I was most excited about the Jacuzzi tub for two. It definitely heat it up quick, but it was very relaxing to feel the jets against the body after a long work week. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I always bring my own pillows when traveling via car, but the bed was super comfortable, and I was able to fall asleep with ease. The room was very clean, spacious, and inviting. Complementary breakfast was nice. They actually had some gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Was pleasantly surprised. Overall, one of the better themed hotel stays I've ever experienced. We'll definitely come back again. read more

We stayed at Anniversary Inn on Friday, May 15, 2026, for our 8th wedding anniversary. This was supposed to be a special remembrance stay for us because we also stayed here on our wedding night 8 years ago. My husband booked our room over a month in advance, and we reserved the Hollywood Suite, which was the room we had always wanted to stay in. A week before our stay, they called my husband and told him that room was no longer available, even though it had already been reserved for weeks. He requested another Diamond Suite, and they told him not to worry because the Marble Suite was available. We checked in at 4:00 PM. The room was much smaller than expected, and the wine my husband paid for and specifically requested was not in the room. The spa essentials were there, so we decided not to make a fuss at first. After dinner, we returned around 9:30 PM and tried to use the spa bathtub, which is one of the main reasons people stay at this hotel. The water was extremely hot, and when my husband tried to turn it down, the water would not shut off at all. The water became so dangerously hot that we quickly jumped out to avoid getting burned or injured because we had no way to stop it. We had to get out, get dressed, and call the front desk. Joann came to our room, and instead of trying to problem-solve or reassure us, she immediately said there were no rooms available and asked whether we planned to stay or leave. Rather than helping us find a solution, she seemed more focused on getting an answer from us than resolving the issue itself. From the moment she arrived, we felt like she was more than happy to see us leave instead of trying to save our anniversary experience or help make things right. We asked if the issue could be fixed first. Maintenance came, and after we waited in our car for about half an hour, the tub was still not properly fixed. The maintenance employee, Donny, was shocked that no one had tried to move us and confidently told us that we would absolutely receive a full refund because of the situation. He seemed certain that this was the obvious outcome. Later, when my husband spoke with Joann and referenced what Donny had said, she immediately shut it down and said he could not make those statements and should not have said that. It was incredibly frustrating to receive completely conflicting information from staff while already dealing with a ruined anniversary evening. We were then told the faucet had been stripped and that pliers could be left for us if we wanted to try using the tub ourselves. We did not feel comfortable with that at all. The whole reason we stayed there was for the themed room and spa tub experience, and that experience was completely ruined. We ended up checking out before midnight and driving 45 minutes home to Mountain Home. What made this even more frustrating was how everything was handled afterward. We were not offered any refund, partial refund, credit, or even another stay at a later date. Nothing. We were simply told that "a manager would contact us." There was no attempt to make things right, no empathy, and no effort to save our anniversary experience. The property itself also feels very neglected. The hallway carpets looked filthy and stained and honestly did not appear to have changed much since we stayed there 8 years ago. For $300-$400 a night, this is unacceptable. The staff overall seemed undertrained, overwhelmed, and not equipped to handle guest issues with even basic hospitality. This place could be amazing if the owners invested more into maintenance, staffing, and customer service. Unfortunately, our anniversary night was ruined, and my husband and I have decided we will never stay there again. For anyone considering spending this much money on a room here, think carefully. We've probably stayed in every room and the Anniversary Inn experience allows you to drive 20 minutes, check in, and be transported into your own little world 2000 miles, or 10,000 years, away! My favorite are the Covered Wagon and the Hollywood Romance! There's nothing like a beautiful, hot bath or jacuzzi in the middle of the night, mints on your pillow, pie waiting in the fridge, breakfast in bed, clean Clean, CLEAN rooms; happy and enthusiastic staffing, and a reasonable checkout time! On Thursday June 25th my wife and I had reserved a room for our 25th wedding anniversary. We checked in that evening and later in the night around 2am we were sleeping when suddenly the bed collapsed under us. Because it was 2am we decided it was best if we pulled the broken wood bed frame over to the side, put the mattress down on the floor and continue sleeping. Upon the morning check out we advised the front desk to what happened. The young lady asked if we were okay, I told her that we didn't sleep well after that. She said that the manager was not there yet but said there shouldn't be any issues. I wasn't contacted after our stay about any of the situation, I was also not contacted by management that they were going to charge us $500 for the damages. I was notified by my bank that I had a negative balance because of the unknown $500 charges. read more

Once again, we have found ourselves at the Anniversary Inn. This time we tried the Sleeping Beauty room. IT WAS MASSIVE!!! There was so much attention to detail, it had a very good atmosphere and the tub with the waterfall shower was so cool. There is a couple of downsides to the room, though. The upstairs is about 15 degrees difference so they have a tower fan and ceiling fan running. Not a big deal but I can see how it might be a little more uncomfortable in the summer. The ceiling fan was making a weird scratching noise so I had to turn it off at night because it would keep me up. The final downside is, even though the round bed is an awesome concept, I think the mattress could use an upgrade. It was not a very comfy bed. The breakfast was yummy as always and I love that they have a bottle of sparkling cider on ice waiting for you when you check in. Can't wait to try another room in the future!!! read more

No reservations. Arrived at 10 pm after driving 9 hours to see a friend in ICU. All hotels were booked so this was our only option for me and my daughter .I said we may need a room for two days. The room wasn't that clean ( bathroom was ) trash and dirt on floor around bed and floor turned my white socks black! But tired so just went to bed. The next day I told front desk we didn't need the second night due to my friends medical situation. She said no problem. Then I find out I was charged for the second night. I called and the manager said it was in the policy..no one ever mentioned!!! My bad I guess for not seeing it literally anywhere. My partner and I have been planning on staying at an Anniversary Inn for years. It has been a dream destination. We finally were able to stay here last night and we called previously asking how to pay with a gift card. They said to use it when we got there. The new girl checking us in was very helpful and kind but told us to wait until the morning to speak with the manager about the gift card. The manager, Samantha, was the exact opposite. We found out that they switched owners and now their gift cards (which explicitly state no expiration date) now expire within two years. So a magical time that we had immediately dissipated. We didn't get an apology or any form of consolation. We were rudely told we're basically SOL. We understand that ownership and policies can change. But a complete lack of kindness and understanding towards customers from the *Manager* is extremely disappointing. We will not be staying here again. read more

Checked in here today for our last night on our weekend getaway trip before flying home to SoCal tomorrow. The outside is absolutely beautiful, the patio out front is nice, and the parking lot is clean. Upon walking in you enter a really clean, nice looking lobby area and the front desk is right there on the left. The employee (either Pam or Pat I don't recall exactly) who helped us was so kind and sweet. She was very detailed and made sure we knew of all of the amenities they offered and how to order food, etc. We stayed in the presidential room, which was REALLY cool and perfect for us! The room was decorated really nice and had rose petals scattered throughout the room upon check in (we did pay for the pretty woman package). We ordered some food (chicken bacon ranch flatbread and artichoke dip) which was REALLY good. The prices were reasonable, and it came within a reasonable time. The breakfast in the morning was delivered right at 8:30 (the time we requested) and was great too! The room was great, clean and well stocked. It was the perfect ending night for our weekend getaway. I'd recommend anyone to stay here who's in the area! We will try to come back for sure! read more

We stayed in The Swiss Family Robinson Room for one night for my boyfriends Birthday. We were in Boise to visit family, but this was the night we spent alone together to celebrate. It was amazing. The bathtub had a shower / tub combo with jets that easily fit the two of us with extra room to spare. The shower head comes out of an elephant tusk and had great water pressure! The treehouse and art on the walls was mesmerizing, and we spent the better part of an hour just wandering around and exploring every square inch. The lofted area in the treehouse is accessible by a spiral staircase, and is where you SLEEP! It truely was like being in a fairy tail. It was BEYOND romantic. The Inn offers complimentary breakfast delivered to your room. The front desk receptionist provided us with a cars to fill out at check-in. I am gluten-free, and marked "cereal" the only gluten free marked option. The desk agent was so sweet and asked me if it was an allergy concern. She told me I didnt have to eat cold cereal and recommended the eggs/veggies with no toast. The breakfast was DELICIOUS and the complementary apple cider was good also. You can upgrade to wine I think, which we will do next time. That's right... I said next time... we will totally be back! It is not the Ritz, but something truely more amazing. Something you will always remember! They also opened up cleaned rooms after we checked out and allowed us to view the other rooms and walk around with our luggage. Swiss family room is the winner! We will not be returning to this dingy and rundown hotel. Our room was supposed to be a diamond room, but the jets in the tub didn't even work, pillows were flat, and the fireplaces didn't work. This wasn't mentioned at booking. Later, we when we inquired about it, they told us they were changing out the fireplaces. Even with a Black Friday, 50% off, it still wasn't worth what I paid for the room. We have stayed at this hotel several times before and we always looked forward to having breakfast....however this "new" breakfast was dismal and the coffee was weak. New ownership appears to have cut corners, as much as possible, not realizing that it will cost them in the long run. They lost us as loyal & returning customers. Definitely skip this place and stay at a newer, cleaner, and more updated hotel downtown. read more

We booked this stay for one night due to the great reviews and close proximity to the Alberton's Stadium where we were seeing the game. Super excited for the "Oregon Trail room". I checked in online about 3pm indicating my arrival for 5pm. I would have checked in sooner but there's a fee to do so earlier. We were walking up the steps to check in when they called me at 5:01 to tell me our room had flooded from the tub in the room above ours. The front desk gentleman was incredibly rude and sarcastically asked if we still wanted to stay in the room, we inquired on the severity of the damage, and he described it as "water pouring out of the ceiling" so obviously we asked for a different room. They were fully booked (given the game weekend) as were the other nearby hotels. My main priority was finding another hotel for the evening while my fiancée tried to handle the refund with The Anniversary Inn. We totally understand accidents like this are out of their control and we are reasonable people, but given that checkout is at 12 noon, I find it hard to believe they "just noticed it" at 4:45 pm and "had no time to call us sooner". They were not helpful in finding us other arrangements for the night, and did not assist in processing our refund. We booked through Expedia and Expedia tried to call the front desk multiple times to verify this story and the gentleman was in no rush to help us process our refund. Horrible service, irresponsible facility to not check on their rooms before guests check in, (or have housekeeping report damage this severe to management sooner?) it was an incredibly bizarre story they told. Really disappointing too, had they handled the unfortunate circumstance with more compassion, we would have totally tried booking this place again the next time we were in Boise. We loved our stay here! We were looking for a fun but less expensive hotel to stay at in the Boise area and were not disappointed. The room was super cool. Service was excellent - very friendly. The prices of food and things were so great - you can get a bottle of wine for less than 20.00 and some cheesecake for a few dollars. The breakfast in the morning was super - we got frittatas, toast, yogurt parfaits... this was all included with our room. Food: eggs were good, decaf coffee was sour!! I drink decaf at home and it doesn't taste like that, toast was edible.... August 29th was my fourth anniversary to my second husband. We had booked at the first of the month for the suite of month. We reserved three nights. There was an unexpected hospital stay that followed this booking. We canceled the night of our anniversary, but kept the next two nights. We were offered an upgrade for $40.00. No where did it mention that you couldn't upgrade the suite of the month. My husband called in and even talked to a person at the front desk. We were told that it was no problem and they would fix it. Imagine our surprise when the bill was another 90.00. We called to talk to a manager and were told that they had talked to a manager. We had several run arounds about who was responsible, but they aren't going to do anything. We HAD been going to the inn for years. We have stayed in nearly half the rooms. I can't believe for 90.00 they just couldn't make it right. They give away rooms all the time. This anniversary was filled with stress beyond, and all we needed was to get away. We won't be back! I have heard so many good things about this place, and i heard that management must have changed recently because it was unfortunately not the best experience....first off i love the fact that check out was at 12pm. This place is technically a bed and breakfast and breakfast is delivered to your room so i am expecting for it to be delicious. We arrived and celebrating our 3 year anniversary and im so excited, the boy at the front desk took about 15mins to check us in and same with the people in front of us, cant ask me why that took so long! i filled out what we wanted for breakfast and the choices were limited but there wasn't anything like pancakes or waffles, it was stuff like egg bites and stuff like that, something they can toss in the microwave maybe? we go to our room and its fabulous, very cool and the complimentary sparkling cider was on ice which was amazing! wake up the next morning and for breakfast my husband got the cheese omelet which was made from what tasted like powdered eggs with a kraft single in the middle, it was very gross and came with a side of toast which was cheap cardboard basically. i got the ham and cheese croissant which was soggy kind of but was very gross, took one bite and spit it out. the juice they served was weirdly warm, and we both got yogurt parfaits and the granola was soggy, and the yogurt must have been coffee flavored because that was just not good lol! when we left we went out to eat, so incredibly dissatisfied....love the concept but will not return if this is how it is going to be especially for 1 night the room was almost $300. Also i accidently left my wedding ring and have been expecting a call back and so far nothing so i hope no one stole it..... read more

They wont refund your money when they know they have this glitch and the front desk lady, who was very nice said they is also a spoof website taking reservations for the place also and they dont warn anyone when they know about it. don't waste your time and just go to the residence Inn, ether next door or downtown location. We stayed at the Anniversary Inn the day after we got married. We stayed in the Swiss Family Robinson room . The room appeared outdated and slightly dirty. The following morning after we slept in the bed, we discovered a dirty pair of women's underwear in the sheets! The drinking glass downstairs at the sink had lipstick on the rim. Super cool concept the hotel has but cleanliness and customer service get a F-. We did complete a guest survey/comment card and never heard a peep from anyone. This B&B is incredible. We had the Hawaiian Paradise room and it was exactly that! We really felt like we were on the islands. The only thing missing was the sand, but there was sand in a beautiful glass top table The shower is so special; comes out from rocks to form a waterfall. Next time, a bath in the HUGE jacuzzi tub Breakfast had choices and served in the room. We had the frittata, which was yummy. We also had the raspberry croissant, which was more like a gorgeous pop tart. Also the option of having cheesecake in the afternoon. This was an amazing hotel to spend a special time with your spouse for an anniversary. We chose the African safari type room that has the two huge elephants coming out of the wall. The enormous jetted tub in the room was large enough for us both and was the highlight of our stay. The breakfast was amazing every day. We also ordered the movie night popcorn, candy and sodas. It was handy. Our first night we ordered some in-room munchies and they were great, too. The ONLY suggestion I would make for our room is that I wish the sofa wasn't rattan and would have been more comfortable for relaxing. All the furniture in this room is rattan and none of it was comfortable for lounging and relaxing. But, otherwise, this was a 5* visit. Also, make sure to check out the other rooms during their daily tours. We saw many other rooms and they were all interesting and fun. We'll definitely return again. read more

My husband and I love this place. We came last year and stayed in the Hollywood romance suite, which was a fun room! This year we had booked the Royal and after checking in were interested in the other available rooms. Galen was very sweet and let us look at a couple other rooms, we ended up switching to the Sun Valley (#34) suite. It was a really fun room with the cabin entrance into the bedroom. The bath is awesome. It's a bigger one and the shower comes out of the rocks. Room service was quick and a great midnight treat! Cool room but upon check in the floor must have been cleaned as it was still damp which made it kinda humid inside. Our stay was just amazing! My husband surprised me for our anniversary by booking one night in one of their Swiss Family Robinson suites, and we had such a wonderful time. You walk in, and music is playing, and you're taking in this incredible room complete with a treehouse, and then you notice the jetted tub you will definitely be enjoying later and the apple cider and cheesecake they have ready for you, and you think, "Yes, this is perfect." The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and served with flair. The room we chose was obviously one of their older rooms, looking a bit well-worn, but it was cozy and adventurous and well-worth the price you pay. Important tip: keep in mind the Swiss Family suites are two stories! The bed is upstairs in the treehouse, which means a decent spiral staircase is between you and the bathroom at night. If you have trouble with stairs, or are late enough in pregnancy that you will be using the bathroom quite a lot at night, you may want to pick one of their other rooms. Being in my third trimester, I got quite the workout on those stairs! But it was still fun and worth it to me. We look forward to coming again many times to experience their other suites! read more

While we did enjoy going to the Anniversary Inn in Boise, we were disappointed in the upkeep of the room we stayed in. It was for Valentine's Day this year (2018) and we stayed in the Palace Suite. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The sink would not drain. There were spider webs above the bed and the it was very warm in the room, so we decided to run the air conditioner....it didn't work. For the price that you pay to stay in this (and it's VERY expensive) the upkeep on the rooms should be done. Also, where the toilet is was so small we couldn't hardly shut the door! We were excited to be able to get a room with a two person tub....that was one of our mistakes...the tub was VERY small...not near big enough to two average size people. We did enjoy the breakfast, it was very good. And the cider and cheesecake was good and the people that worked there were very friendly. We were just disappointed that the rooms were in such poor condition for the cost of the room. read more

Very cool little spot! What a fun hotel with a lot of character and charm. Safari Room did not disappoint. The bed was really comfy, parking was free, friendly staff, and affordable. I went alone because I was on business and could not find a hotel, but this is a place for couples. The tub in the room was a special treat. LOVED our stay- for my birthday. I thought I had my room choices narrowed down by looking on line but doing the afternoon suites tour actually made it more tricky for me! We went with Sultan's Palace based on the bath-tub size & after reading the suite guest-book I'm pretty sure it's one of the best rooms! The room was VERY clean & cozy. You really get to escape when you're there in your room...we ended up getting take-out sushi & watched the Oscars while enjoying a bottle of Sake; after that we turned off all electronics & really took advantage of our evening. You choose your breakfast when checking in & I highly recommend the breakfast croissant, not so much the breakfast fritta; their parfaits are really delicious too! We felt pretty spoiled getting breakfast served at our door & having a 12pm checkout was great. Tips: -Bring your own bath bombs, flameless candles, & champagne or cocktail(s) if you can- we did (there is a fridge & complementary sparkling cidar on ice, as well as cheesecake slices- very basic but a nice touch). They do offer a small food menu but we didn't order anything. -Be prepared to purchase a future room at a discounted rate when checking out- it's worth it for yourselves or for a gift. *I wish there was a bar with some live music or entrainment but I also understand why there's not. My husband was a little put off originally, but it turned out we both absolutely LOVED it and would definitely go back again. We love this place! So far we've stayed in the Sun Valley, French Canopy, Country Garden, Hollywood Romance, and The Royale. We love them all, and The Royale is beautifully remodeled and very comfortable. But our favorite so far is Hollywood. Can't wait to try them all! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast is good and is delivered to your room at a time your specify. Sparkling cider and cheesecake is always included with your stay. I've been here twice so far and loved it each time. Each time my wife use it to get out without actually going anywhere since we live in Meridian. Each time we've stayed at the Marble room. I consider the room to have a beautiful theme and is also classy. Their themes are rather tasteful (a lot of themed places can go overboard if they're not careful) and are rather enjoyable. They have a large jacuzzi bath tub that fits two people. You can buy a "bath bomb" for $4 to add some bubbles and scent. There is a rocking love seat next to a TV. They have DirecTV as well as DVDs available to rent if you want to watch something. When you sign in they have you choose your breakfast. In the morning they knock on your door and leave you a tray with your breakfast. The room comes with sparkling cider in a container filled with ice. They also have two cheesecakes in the mini fridge that are complimentary. They also have bottle water which is NOT free. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all this is an excellent place to enjoy a relaxing time with your significant other. read more

We recently stayed at the Anniversary Inn to celebrate our 2nd anniversary together. I love the idea of "staycations," and having such a niche hotel in town is perfect! Check-in was very easy, and it was fun checking in behind a newly wed couple (still in tux & gown)! You select your breakfast options at check-in,which was wonderful because I didn't realize it was customizable! Lots of yummy options, but we both went with the french toast and were not disappointed! We also added a side of sausage and bacon, which were both fantastic. I booked The Presidential, knowing it was PERFECT for my boyfriend's taste. And not to toot my own horn, but I hit the nail on the head! We both loved the room. He was fascinated by the library and large selection of books available, and I was all about that huge, jetted bathtub! We also loved the fireplace, and had it on for the majority of our stay. The cider on ice and cheesecake were a great welcoming touch, and made the night a little more special. We felt so spoiled! We paid the extra for early check-in and check-out, not realizing that check-out isn't until 12pm! I really love the concept of the Bounce Back certificates (within 24 hours of check-out, buy a certificate for a night in any room at a very discounted rate), and we made sure to purchase one for next year.
