We stayed at this hotel while we stayed in Venice after our honeymoon cruise. It's a very quaint hotel on Calle Fabbri which is a great street to be in...from the annex where we stayed, it was 5 minutes walk to the Rialto Bridge on one direction and 5 minute walk to San Mark's Square on the other.
Our room was in the attic of the annex and it was decorated with old furniture...the bathroom was nice and you could hear the gondoliers on the nearby canal...the TV channels were all in Italian, but we didnt mind as we only slept and showered there.
The staff was helpful and helped us take our luggage all the way up the stairs and down (no elevator).
There's a breakfast, which is extra, but we didn't eat there, not when you have thousands of wonderful restaurants and gelaterias nearby.
At first it's difficult to find from the vaporetto terminal at San Marco, but once we figured that area of Venice it was a breeze.
I would go back, but would avoid the top annex room. read more
