The hotel's website clearly states that all rooms have air conditioning. However, because it's October, the AC is shut off and only warm air blows. With temperatures still rising, my room felt like a sauna upon check-in. Within three minutes, I was back at the front desk asking how to turn on the air conditioning -- only to be told, "Just keep the window open."
That's not a reasonable solution. It's noisy outside, and as a solo female traveler, I'm not comfortable leaving the window open all day and night. Without AC or even a fan, there's no circulating air. The rooms are very small, so it quickly starts to feel like being locked in a closet.
To make matters worse, the toilet makes a strange noise every 4-6 seconds, and closing the bathroom door doesn't help. The bathroom amenities don't have a seal, obviously refilled or reused.
It's now 1 a.m., and I regret not booking a different hotel. The photos on the website make this place look ten times nicer than it really is.
Omar at the front desk was kind and the shower head pressure is pretty good. read more
