It's basically the perfect highway break: grab some food from the market, stretch your legs, wander around for a bit, and inevitably find something you didn't know you needed before getting back on the road. The building itself is huge and has THREE stories, the first floor is the market, while the top two floors are packed with antiques and collectibles. And when I say there's a LOT to look at, I mean it. There were so many different booths and collections, from vintage toys and Disney goodies to western pieces, furniture, records, books, home decor, random nostalgic treasures, and plenty of things I had to stop and look at twice. I especially loved seeing all the little vintage and nostalgic finds tucked throughout the different booths! Some of the prices were definitely a little questionable for what they were, but honestly, we still had such a lovely time wandering around and taking everything in. Even if you don't buy anything, it's a really fun place to explore and break up a long drive. Definitely adding this to the "stop again if we're ever passing through" list. Such a charming, unexpected roadside find!

This is the best cross-section of Americana I've ever seen. It claims to be 15,000 square feet of antiques and it is every bit of that and more! Here's what they've done right: 1) There's no flea-market junk. Everything displayed qualifies as a keep-sake. 2) Each item is displayed with respect on it's own foot-print of space, not crowded against or stacked on top of another. 3) Prices are clearly marked and designated as "each", or "per set", or the number of pieces. 4) Most items are clean and well lighted--appear showcase ready! 5) Multiple rooms or nooks are theme-related, so if you're interested in tools, or magazines, or German mugs, or fishing gear, or tableware, or vintage signage--there's a section for you! 6) Several salespeople are readily available to help you find what you're interested in. 7) The coffee shop on site, and spacious restrooms can make this store a whole day event. It's not much to look at from outside as it's an old warehouse, but once you get inside the place you find that it's huge. Around the outside at least in the first third of the store are cases with more valuable antiques, small trinket he antiques and plenty of dolls and figurines. They're organized in a somewhat reasonable fashion, but there does tend to be a lot of random this within the different cases. As you continue to the store and realize how far back the place goes, you're treated two small areas that function as separate rooms with specific types of antiques. There's some great cowboy themed ones, plenty of bedroom type antiques and one of the biggest hat sections I've ever seen in the store like this. It was very impressive, and even if you're not looking for anything in particular, there's enough stuff here that you will probably find something you're interested in. When I came back up front, I found that there was a birdcage with a number of small birds inside. They seemed very nice! If you are patient, you can spend hours looking through reasonably priced baseball cards here. There a lot of vinyl records and electronics in the basement. The staff here is very friendly, they don't mind you browsing for a couple hours here. And best of all, it's right down the street from Owl Soda Fountain!
