They fixed it dishwasher. It was clogged, and making a huge mess. They fixed it, and cleaned up well after.

We had a dishwasher issue and called Hotshot. When other companies were a week or longer to schedule, Hotshot was out the next day. The technician was prompt, courteous and honest. He shared the signs of an aging dishwasher and said he could fix it but it would cost the same as getting a new one. I really appreciated that! We now have their magnet on our refrigerator. Our washing machine would not stop filling. We had their tech Zach out to see what was wrong. He was able to diagnose but gave us a quote for over $600 to fix the solenoid cold water valve. The piece itself cost right at $200 and over $400 in service fees. After messaging and calling Zach he never got back with me; I was trying to get the part number to maybe try and lessen the cost and see why it was so much on this machine. After about a month I called in and they told me the high service fee was because they needed two technicians for this to move the stackable washer dryer and get to the piece. I am a 120lb woman. I ordered the piece for $200, moved the washer and dryer by myself... installed the new valve and fixed it in less than 45 minutes. You mean to tell me you need two grown men to do this and to charge me that much to do so? I'm more than happy to pay a fair price but charging me an extra tech fee of over $200 to move a washer dryer.... This is laughable and not a good business practice. I did pay their service call fee ($80). I own several properties in the area and will not use or recommend them to anyone based on their lack of communication and cost consciousness. Response I was never told it had to be authentic parts in-fact Zach told me he was going to see if he could find it cheaper or if an alternative piece could be used and failed to even get back to me after I repeatedly texted and called. I also paid for an original part so the price of that is not an issue. The issue is your lack of communication and then charging for two full technicians with no other option. This was a 45 minute or less solo project completed by myself and you wanted to charge over $600 ($200 in parts). I understand safety for your crew however, only one person could lift this out of the hall as there was no room for two people... it would have been reasonable to charge for one tech and maybe a smaller fee to bring someone else but charging over $200 per tech there just to move a unit is absolutely absurd. Hey add $50 for the second person because they are there to assist. Just saying if a pretty small female can do this by herself you may want to rethink your pricing. read more

Our A/C cut out in the evening, shortly before bed, and despite trying to check it for obvious signs of failure at 3 am, I saw no easy way to get it running again. I dreaded finding someone to repair it, but fortunately, my thermostat's app initiated calls to several in the area. I got a call back from Hot Shot around 30 minutes later and they had their repair tech rolling out to my house 2 hours after that. He turned on the A/C and, from the sound, knew immediately that the capacitor had failed. He swapped one out from his truck, showed me how best to clean the coils, emailed me an invoice, and was on his way, all in under 30 minutes. Fantastic service! read more

So we on budget. Worried about Central AC unit hadn't been serviced for for 6 years.
