Nothing brings the Christmas feel good more to me than children. Barnes & Noble is a great place…read moreyear round, but so much better during the holidays. We recently gathered for the school Book Fair and a Grinch story time. The bookstore was brimming with boys & girls and their families. It could have been chaos with the amount of people there, but it was quite the opposite. Children of all ages were enjoying time together with classic books and bestsellers too! I was surprised to see this is a two-story store with escalators as well as elevators on the southwest corner of the store. The coffee shop was filling orders, the staff was helpful and accommodating, and I left with a desire to go back soon to peruse through all the great merchandise, and then hide in a nook with a book somewhere in the store!

NO SITTING ON FLOOR…read more.. This Barnes & Noble in Oakland Park is well kept although it's unwritten policy (upon my request it was confirmed by the customer service staff) of "NO READING WHILE SITTING ON THE FLOOR" is weird and no explanation provided. The Cafe serves Starbuck's coffee and pastry offering several seats and tables. The upstairs has a large Barnes & Noble Jr section and a good selection of sports books with four seats randomly postioned against the railing without a table. So now I'm reading a book with a coffee in an uncomfortable chair. I guess the days of comfy reading areas are long gone. My lower back is now killing me so left after 30 minutes. At least they provide an escalator or an optional elevator for comfort.

The allure of getting the paper with all those money saving coupons, events, and the FTL Magazine that is inside with the Saturday paper came along when seeing a Groupon Deal. With the coupons alone that come each week you will quickly earn your $10 back for the 1 year subscription! They also have a 2 year subscription for only $20 and the deal is still on the site. With moving three times in the two years, the transaction of changing your address is very simple and easy. With my most recent move I simply went onto their website and filled out a quick change of address form. The next day I received a call from the Sun Sentinel to verify and confirm my new address then that very next weekend we received our paper! Customer service is helpful and efficient making my experience with them continue on. Equally, our paper has always arrived in great condition and placed in front of our door without any wear and tear during the delivery process. They have hold and stop options for your paper as well if you are going out of town or will be gone for an extended amount of time; all you need to do it notify them. The Sun Sentinel is a reliable and great paper delivered prompt to your doorstep!

They try to lock you in and charge your card annually even if you're not reading their newspaper I changed bank accounts and did not update my card on file. They continuously call my phone every single day from overseas asking me to pay my subscription fee. I do not want it. I have canceled and I have told at least them 10 times to stop contacting me and they are relentless and do not give up. Do not give this business any of your banking information. It is a scam and I would hang up and block any numbers they call from.
