Total Being Yoga studio proved to be all that and more! My GPS took me in the wrong direction and I missed my scheduled class. I called the studio and the owner, Mian, was so friendly and accommodating. I was immediately offered another class session that fit my schedule. But i know its only a matter of time before people find out what an amazing sanctuary there is right off of 74! The energy is amazing from the second you walk through the doors. Located in an unassuming strip of possible warehouses, this a haven awaits. So far I have taken the yin yoga classes which are donation based (YOGA FOR ALL...I LOVE IT!) you will leave that class floating and in a daze. It's so relaxing. The studio is equipped with all the yoga props you would need and the space is roomy. Ive also taken the aerial silk meditation class....OMG. i fell in love. best 30 minutes of my 2018 thus far....Sure its only January, but I intend to repeat! This clas was an insane 5 bucks!!! Why did I write that?! Like I said, best kept yoga secret! The silk classes do require pre-registration as there are only a limited number of them and im def not sharing my hammock! Sorry homie, you've got to book your own! I took Lindsay D's class and absolutely loved it! It was my first true Pilates class and the…read moreinstructor was great - she even gave me a walk through before the class started. She was very motivational and also helped us adjust our resistance throughout the class. What I enjoyed about her the most is that she made everyone feel special. There was a mix of beginners and veterans of Pilates in our class and she made sure everyone felt comfortable with every movement - and helping when needed. Most of my workouts are high intensity so the change of pace was great for me! But don't get me wrong - the class was a workout! I felt stronger than ever - working in slow movements and challenging myself with each stretch. Additionally Lindsay's playlist was on point. We were able to relax and make this workout our OWN and focus on OUR strength. In addition, the studio was very charming. It's got boutique vibes, but includes all the necessities like bathrooms, showers, a changing room and some swag to purchase. Overall I was very impressed with this studio and the instructor.
