About a year and a half ago I bought a year membership with F45 Dardenne prairie south location. In July of 2023 I called to cancel with the owner Greg. He assured me this was no problem and that my account would be canceled. Come August I was charged again. When I called Greg he said he had no recollection of me calling and that he usually says he has people email and then cancels 30 days from that. I reluctantly agreed and sent an email. October, November and December have come around and I have gotten charged for all of these months. I have tried to call and email multiple times and have sometimes gotten an answer from Greg Cenatiempo saying he would work on it. He currently owes me 556 dollars. Now being more vocal about it I have heard that this location and his rock hill location have this problem frequently and that I shouldn't expect to get my money back because when he has to refund people he gets charged $25. I didn't want to post on the internet but it seems I won't be heard any other way. I have messaged other managers saying that Greg is the one who deals with memberships. All I want is my account canceled and my money refunded. I have email receipts to prove all my communications with the f45 email and absolutely no response. DO NOT GO TO THE F45 DARDENNE PRAIRE SOUTH LOCATION.

I've spent my life doing mostly endurance events - 10K's, etc. However, my spindly self had trouble opening jars. As time marched on and "bingo wings" manifested, I knew it was time for strength training mixed with my cardio. It's been almost two months, and at this rate, I may be able to flip cars soon. The trainers are genuinely interested in bringing you along while respecting your independence to enjoy your own workout. And nobody does the hard sell for a membership. I met the owner the first visit while he was fixing up the selfie rooms. He apologized for the mess and introduced himself. Very community spirited gym, but not the pushy type to get you involved if you don't want to. If you like quiet, keep in mind the classes on the turf Saturday mornings especially around holiday time. I'm not a morning person so it definitely woke me up but nothing to keep me from still going to this gym. I am on the petite side and there are some machines where I can't put any weight on or else there would be no movement and if I put the lowest weight it's too heavy to push/pull. So there are some machines that aren't beginner friendly. I'd say it's definitely a gym to go to where you've already started your fitness journey and want to enhance it or just wait to use those machines after you build some more strength. I don't think I've heard the same song twice and every song is great and pumps me up. Whoever is controlling the tunes is doing fantastic!
