Very cool hot spot. I love that you get a workout in and a deep detox at the same time in the infrared sauna. The rooms were nice, clean, and intimate. Not big rooms filled with lots of people. The virtual instructions were easy to follow along and entertaining as well. I did the pilates class and it was a great workout, they have three different levels you can follow, easy, moderate, or challenging. Krystal and Makayla are very nice, helpful, and thoroughly explained the whole process. Well worth the cost. All ya do is show up. I will be doing the stretch class next. Thank you.

Super cool work out! There's several saunas you can do different types of work outs in! I tried the mat Pilates and my husband loved the cycling class! They offer a free class to new comers and are open 27/4! Check it out

Amazing studio and concept! HotWorx's is the best. So good for those who like shorter spurts of intense workouts! The owners are so friendly and staff is always willing to help. It is actually made going to the gym enjoyable. And a very convenient space around town and facilities are always extremely clean while taking care of. Such a great concept and so glad it is in Reno!

To say I'm obsessed with how I feel when I step out of a class is an understatement. I'm no stranger to heated (sauna) workout classes, but these are incomparable. I love that it's a smaller studio, personable, and less crowded and locally owned. I'm usually on a time crunch or can't sleep, and on nights like that I'll do some of my best work at the gym. These are infrared sauna classes! I paid extra to have red-light therapy saunas at my other clubs. I love how they have everything you need from a tradition gym, but the upgraded version. Super clean studio and I appreciate the ability to kick up the temp to 130 to kill bacteria. I was lucky enough to be able to try a class through Yelp Elite, thank you Yelp team for the opportunity! I did hot buns and iso burn earlier followed by some traditional weight training and its just what I needed. I canceled a few other club memberships because Hotworx is 24 hours! Oh and I felt it in my whole body about midday. I can't wait to see my calories burned rack up! I wish the app was more user friendly. Stacy was a doll setting me up, but I accidentally canceled one of my classes instead of recording it after I was done. Besides that, I'm learning how to use everything. Let's go and see if I can win $100! ;)

Holy Moly I am HOOKED!!! One session is seriously all it takes. I have never felt so revived after a workout and I have never sweat so much in my life. HOTWORX for those of you who are curious is a 24-hour infrared fitness studio that offers a variety of virtually instructed, infrared sauna workouts designed to maximize fitness results in less time. With 9 Isometric Workouts in 30 minutes intervals available and 3 High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Workouts 15 minute session you are sure to break a sweat. Each sauna is customizable for temp and time... and you can adjust the volume of the instructors on the monitors. Members can access these sessions 24/7, providing flexibility to fit workouts into various schedules. Additionally, the studio features a Functional Exercise Zone (FX Zone) equipped with commercial gym equipment, including kettlebells, battle ropes, suspension straps, dumbbells, and stability balls. There are 2 individual bathrooms that are co-ed with a shower. The reason why I'm writing all this information is because I had no idea what I was walking into when I went to the studio. I was greeted by the owner at the front door Khrystal. I wanted to check out this business because it was voted number one for Northern Nevada business weekly best new business and I was looking for something to reinvigorate that exercise spark. Khrystal gave me a full rundown of the studio and how it works. People are respectful and mindful of individual space and no one bothers you while you are working out. I cannot stress enough that you truly have to experience these sessions just once.

I had a good time doing this class! I did the Hot Iso. It was challenging, yet still doable. I felt really good after. I live across town, so I don't think I'll be signing up for a membership because it's a little inconvenient for me. Also, I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that you have to use their mats and bands, instead of bringing your own. That would be an inconvenience to have to buy theirs. I really do love this concept though.

I've also noticed a big improvement in my VO2 max by consistently using their hot cycle sessions -- they're challenging but incredibly effective.

As a yogi I prefer the heat should come from within...One student even complained when she walked in, I was like, "yes"! Only then did they open a window. The teacher was okay but it's never okay to use profanity of any kind in a class situation and it's quite offensive. Considering I was a first time student she should have watched herself. In the end the class itself was wrong for me; too many props used. My Yogis always taught me that props are not a good idea...and I agree somewhat. I have a block and a strap that can be handy when I've returned to my mat after many falls and severe injuries. I've been a Yogi for 24 years. Every now and then I go back to the Bay Area to teach private classes to my loyal students. The location of this place is in the busy midtown area of Reno. Thankfully the parking wasn't a issue on a Sunday at 3. The studio was very nice and clean.

I came to Midtown because it is a little closer to my side of town and the schedule was perfect for my needs. I was able to get my first class free to try it out. I already knew I was impressed after the first class, but just in case I was not hooked I decided to do the new student pack of unlimited yoga classes for the first month for only 45.00. All the staff seem to be very helpful and very nice to talk to. The teachers are very knowledgeable about the practice. Most classes are for about and hour and 15 min and some even offer the essential oil to help relax at the end of practice. If you are new to yoga or looking for an affordable place for your practice you should give Midtown a try.

You know some places it's obvious that everyone in the class has been going for years and the instructor explains what she's doing but she's going so fast that you really can't get into? This is not that! Every class I have tried I have thoroughly enjoyed. I never feel like a bother when I have to ask for clarification and generally, I don't even have to ask because it's either been explained well or the instructor is cruising around correcting posture and whatnot as she teaches. I feel completely comfortable here. The studio itself is very warm and inviting. Both of the rooms have their charm and I love the floors, I think they are cork? This place gives me all of the warm fuzzies.

The instructors are great and I always feel incredible after attending their hot classes. The most challenging for me is hot floor Pilates - it is worth every second and will whip you into shape. I've never been to a class that felt too packed, which is one of my favorite things! Bring a yoga mat, large towel to go over your mat, small towel to wipe the sweat, and lots of water. There are plenty of girls and guys in the classes I have been to, so don't be shy.

My one hesitation: towel use is inconsistently allowed. My first class back was a full 90-minute traditional class (all 26 postures, twice) with a newer instructor - I used a towel briefly, just for grip during bow pose, and it wasn't an issue at all. In my next two classes, at two different locations, more experienced instructors firmly enforced a strict no-towel policy, citing traditional Bikram purity. What's interesting is that this doesn't match the studio's own history. A 5-star review on this page from about three years ago specifically recommends bringing both a large towel for your mat and a small towel to wipe sweat - and the owner replied directly thanking the reviewer and welcoming them to the community. So towels were clearly fine at one point. The studio also modifies the traditional method in other ways today (music in the 60-minute class, dog yoga), so the current strict enforcement feels selectively applied rather than a consistent, longstanding rule. Worth knowing going in if you sweat heavily or need a towel for grip on certain poses - bring a sweatshirt or wristbands as a workaround, or ask before you book.
