All these years later, and I'm still an RTC fan! I've been everywhere else, and no other gym matches the environment and program that I've found at Results! But I know what you're saying..."I don't like group workouts". OK, well, I didn't used to either! This place feels like dance party with your friends. Good music, even better lighting, and it takes the pressure off thinking any eyes are on you. (Pro tip, they're not...everyone is too busy working up a sweat to notice if you're struggling thru some burpees. Spoiler - we all are!) OK, "but it's haaaardddd". Yep! It is challenging! And anything worth doing is worth doing well! Rome wasn't built in a day, and all those other clichés, and getting out of shape didn't happen overnight, and getting back into better shape takes time. There is no magic bullet; only consistency. AND, when your workout feels like FUN, you'll want to keep coming back! Just browse the pics on Results Sparks FB page, who has this much fun getting fit?!?! "What's is cost?" Better health isn't expensive, but sickness sure is! A good friend of mine invited me to drop in with him for a community event they were doing. How could I say no? It was for a good cause. I showed up and checked in and being a gym rat, he always promised a butt kicking workout. Let me just tell you, it delivered! I'm not big on group training, so I almost said no. (With the exception of my heated pilates and yoga classes.) I've seen amazing results from my friends that are still members here although, I prefer to workout solo or with my coach. I'm so glad I gave them a try. We formed a group of 4 with two other guys and it was a blast as we moved through the stations. I'll most likely drop in again with him in the future. The energy and the coaches were awesome and of course my friend was recognized for his workouts; he's a beast! This place kicked my tail. I am trying to lose weight and I have done a 10 week kickboxing program back in Denver. I saw a Facebook ad for this so I thought. Why not now? I went in and spoke to the most wonderful woman who went though the 6 week program before. She told me about all the support you get and how great everyone is. It all seemed great for the cost. The only concern I have is if it's healthy to lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks. I've always been told 2 pounds a week max. Right now they're really going above and beyond to offer group training but still following CDC guidelines for COVID-19 as effectively as possible. I used to go here before Covid but I had back surgery and I had to take a break. I came back recently and did a challenge. I was nervous at first because of my back but the coaches helped me modify to protect myself from further injury. I feel so much stronger already! I was given the amazing opportunity to participate in a 6 week challenge at the Sparks Transformation Center. Tiffany, Jessica and Travis are stand-up coaches who keep you motivated and focused. They provided me with positive feedback on nutrition, keeping my goals in mind, and really fun workouts that target the entire body. The gym is kept extremely clean and organized, but as soon as the workouts begin-it transforms into a music blasting, bright disco lights flashing, sweat running high end club! The workouts would go by in a blink of an eye! Without the "FITFAM", the support, and encouragement and energy boosting workouts-I wouldn't have achieved the goals I set for myself at the start of the challenge! The only downside to my experience is the push to provide so many social media posts to promote the gym. For someone like myself, I don't do any social media and I made that really clear from day one. I understand it's how they spread the word and bring in new people, but it has also added just more than the original challenge I signed up to do. I also understand these posts can build a support group for the person on the weight loss mission. If you are a social media person who transcribes their entire life on feeds-then it works, but for someone like me who doesn't do social media or post every waking moment-it's a struggle. I highly recommend the gym! They are clean, have safe places for your belongings during the workout, carry delicious nutrition supplementations, coaches are high-energy and love what they do, a little pricey-but to have small group sizes with a personal training atmosphere....you won't find that complete package anywhere else! read more

Typically, I am not a gym person. A few years ago some of my friends and I hired an expensive personal trainer. The cost became prohibitive after a couple of months and the group quit. About that time, I joined a challenge at Results Transformation and have been impressed. Classes at Results Transformation center are comparable to a personal trainer, but the cost is less. The coaches at Results Transformation are phenomenal and supportive and so are the members who exercise with you. In each class, there are members at multiple different activity levels. The coaches provide one on one support when needed and will provide members with modifications to all exercises when needed. For example, I have ankle and hand/wrist issues, so I avoid jumping and per direction from my doctor, avoid heavy weights. The coaches provided me with modifications to exercises like jumping jacks and burpees. Additionally, each member can personally select weights which they are comfortable with. The classes are challenging, but doable, as your fitness level improves, the coaches provide modification to each exercise, to make them more challenging. Results Transformation also works closely with their members on personal diet. However, this does not mean starving. The food plan they recommend involves eating plenty of proteins and complex carbs. What I learned at Results Transformation is that diet and exercise go hand in hand, and if I don't consume enough protein and complex carbs, I will have difficulty making it though an exercise session. If you are on the fence about giving Results Transformation a try, I strongly recommend that you give it a shot. This is a good gym if you need other people to hold you accountable and if you need a strict workout plan. I have trouble coming up with exercises by myself so it's nice to just be able to show up and do the workout they provide for the day. They provide their own line of supplements and a recommended nutrition plan if that is fit for you. The 6 week challenge is difficult but it worked in terms of getting me into a routine and monitoring my own progress, however, be wary of the requirements to partake in this program and make sure you understand what is required of you. When I first started my journey at Results I was a little skeptical. I didn't think that I was capable of losing 20lbs in 6 weeks. I had done other 6-week workout programs and never lost 20lbs. This time was different. I successfully completed the challenge, losing 20.2lbs. I was able to meet my goals with the help of the coaches and the rest of the challengers encouraging me along the way. The environment in the gym is super positive and I was able to feed off the energy from the rest of the class. I wasn't someone who looked forward to the gym. Previously, I had to force myself to go. That wasn't the case. After just a few workouts, I found myself excited to go to the gym and looking forward to it as a way to relieve stress and burn off some energy after sitting at my desk all day. I tried the 15 pound challenge after a serious ankle break and a year of serious medical issues. I was a consistent gym goer prior to this and thought I would give Results a try to get back to gym consistency. I didn't lose the 15 pounds but I love the gym. I signed up for the 28-day Summer Shred program at Results. I have gained about 60 plus pounds over the last few years and getting into a regular gym alone has been a challenge...at best. I saw this as a chance to get into a team environment...which it is. Some of the things I really like are: Multiple team training times, different work outs for each class...you are never doing the same thing twice, coaches that are entertaining and supportive. When you have instruction and a full room of support, it is much more motivation to get in the gym than just the thought of needing to go. I was able to lose about 8 pounds in 28 days. Not bad I thought, considering I couldn't lose 2 in years. ahaha. (NOTE: Now, I did NOT follow the food plan, I simply attended classes. I am sure my results would have been tenfold if I did. I have 4 kids at home, so following a specialized food plan is next to impossible in my house. Let that be said, I didn't follow the food plan by my own choice. It was easily available to me and promoted...I didn't do it, that was 100% on me). I decided to stay on with the monthly membership, instead of doing the challenges. I find it easier schedule wise to just be a member and not commit myself to all the requirements of challenges. So far so good. They perform demonstrations of all the training movements prior to the start of each classes rotations. There are also modifications to almost everything that is part of the program, so if you are not yet physically able to do some things, it is fine, mods are there and demonstrated before you start the work out. You will feel stronger and more energized after a few weeks. The only negative I could even come up with was the cost. At $139-159 a month, it is steep for someone that is not used to that. The way I look at it though...you have the ability to work out 7 days a week with a trainer and group...when you break down the cost it really is a smoking deal...that is why I stayed with it. For those on a tight budget I can understand the cost being a deterrent. All in all, yay I am a fan and would recommend RTC to anyone that is willing to give it a shot. read more

Scam Alert! Here's how it works at NV Transformation. They have you sign a contract to do a challenge and take $400 from you, which they promise to give back at the end of six weeks if you lose 20 pounds. Oh, and spam everyone you know, every day for 30 days during the cycle, with Facebook check-ins. Still interested? Read on! There is a clause in the contract (one of MANY) that says that if you are still overweight (high BMI) at the end of your challenge, they force you to roll over into the next one. And the next one. So as long as you're still overweight they have you contractually hooked through THREE CYCLES! That's four and a half months, folks. And since it becomes progressively harder to maintain Every. Single. Minute. Point. of your contractual requirements though 12 and even 18 weeks, you essentially have a nearly impossible time ever getting your money returned, and rest assured they will FIGHT you for it. And since they base BMI on a simple height vs weight scale, it's not even an accurate measurement and they REFUSE to do a caliper test to confirm the need to extend the contract. So if you're like me, with a muscular build from Army training and a bit of fat over it that you aren't sure how much you need to get back on track? Plan to pay $400 for their "free" challenge because the management will move heaven and earth to avoid giving it back. Durning week one I was shamed online for posting my meal, in their defense I did have black beans on my salad, but constructive criticism would of been nice, rather than what I got. Especially when the owner cyber bullied me on Facebook. Then in my third week I tore my PCL and have a doctors note and MRI to prove it. Still no money back, I left Jessica several messages, no return calls. Every time I went down there she was " unavailable". Then one of the coaches had the nerve to call me and remind me to sign up for my final weigh in and to remember " I signed up for a challenge and I should hold myself accountable." WTF?! Is all I have to say. The coaches don't watch or help you durning workouts this what resulted in my injury. I just completed the 6 week 20 lb challenge. There were many pros an cons to the challenge. The gym is great and I really enjoyed the workouts. The coaches are fun, encouraging and supportive. They will push you to be your best. There are pretty heavy requirements in order to get your money back for the challenge so make sure you read your contact very carefully. Don't get sucked in and just sign...READ IT! It is not hard to meet the requirements if you are aware of them. I did not make the 20 lbs. I had a really hard time with the food plan. It is very restrictive in order to get your metabolism going and working to support weight loss. As a self identified foody it was hard for me to cut back and i did not always stick to the plan so i did not meet the goal. You really have to be prepared to meal prep, cooking regularly, planning meals ahead of time. For me this required cutting lots of social activities as our social life is really food heavy. Some people can balance. I can not. You will need to identify the coaches that work with you best. A couple of them i really didn't click with and they really bothered me. So i had to find the ones whose style of motivation matched my style. Overall I lost 10 lbs and am satisfied with what I learned. I signed up to be a member and plan to continue working out. I am following a modified meal plan after the challenge to help still eat well but its less restrictive so im hoping i will be more successful. I really love the morning routine i have gotten into I have never been a morning person but i am able to get up, workout and start my day. I felt much better and far less sluggish than in the past. Addendum to previous review I just finished my 2nd 6 week challenge and left the building very happy. Down an additional 22 lbs (for a 13 week total of 47 lbs), at least 4 pant sizes, able to run again, physically able to add yoga to my practice, not craving any foods that I would have killed for last time, getting up at 3:30 to eat breakfast and hit the 5:00 am class is just part of my day now, gaining friends, hopefully inspiring others!!! This was such a great experience. The staff and coaches are very supportive. The workouts are challenging and motivating. You can feel yourself getting stronger with each week. The level of accountability is high but I believe that is what makes people so successful. I really enjoy the morning classes because it allows me to set the tone for the entire day. I would recommend this to anyone and have about three people wanting to do the next challenge with me. I am excited to start round 2 in these next few weeks and look forward to feeling stronger and healthier. Updated review as a round 2 participant. Having seen several of my friends and my sister complete the challenge, I knew it was a possibility since I needed to do something to kick start my goal of a healthier me. When my Mom asked if I would join the challenge with her, I considered the timing and cost and decided that waiting wasn't an option. Throughout the six weeks my Mom and I served as inspiration to each other and received support and motivation from both the coaches and those members and challengers around us. There were low moments, times when I hurt in what seemed like every single muscle (even my forehead), when I was tired of the foods on the diet and felt guilty when I ate something bad, and when I was just plain exhausted. But there were so many positives that out shined those rough times. Our first week's weigh-in was the beginning of those positive moments. I was sore, tired, and anxious before I got on the scale. Eight pounds lighter, I was excited, motivated, and ready to conquer the challenge when I stepped off. Don't get me wrong, there were still some tough times, and one week where I was mad at myself for over indulging and gaining back some weight, but when you're challenging yourself, it's all worth it. Over the course of the six weeks I slept like the dead, starting feeling confident about my dexterity and balance, got told by my husband how proud he was of me and that I needed new work pants as I "looked like M.C. Hammer in my slacks", completed my first lap without feeling winded, and at one point almost lost my workout pants. I've also gained a placed that allows me to focus on something just for myself and forget all of the other problems that crowd in and take up my time. I was very nervous going into this challenge. As someone who is still very new to struggles with my weight, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to rise to the challenge. I always hated working out and I hate dieting too!! There are a lot of things I appreciated about this gym - the workouts were generally really well designed, balanced and the coaches were encouraging and helpful. I am definitely stronger than I was at the start of the challenge. The diet, while pretty strict, was balanced and encouraged healthy eating practices. My own thinking about and approach to food is definitely different from when I started this challenge, which I appreciate. And for me, the program worked - I lost a little over 20 pounds in 6 weeks. I am certainly grateful for that. I do think communication could be a lot better on the part of the gym - there was a lot of confusion about how far in advance you needed to book classes on the app, when you needed to weigh in, and other requirements of the challenge. There was one instance where I signed up for a class on the app, showed up, and the class had been cancelled without anyone being notified. There are a few things done by the franchise that I don't personally consider to be good business practices - there's a lot of pressure to put your deposit towards a gym membership rather than receive it back, which makes the aggressive marketing of the program as "free" feel very disingenuous. Additionally, you have to reach a "healthy BMI or body fat percentage" in order to receive your deposit back, and although this is stated in the contract, it is never mentioned in orientations. It would feel much more honest to me if the center made a point of ensuring that participants were aware of this requirement. Finally, the owner of the gym also co-owns a supplement line called Physx, and these supplements are sold in the gym and pushed very, very hard to participants, with no mention of the fact that the gym owner is directly profiting from sales of these supplements. As a business owner myself, I'm always careful to disclose potential conflicts of interest, and wish that the gym was more upfront about this as well. That said, I would consider my overall experience to be a positive one, and am excited to be participating in a second round of the challenge. read more

I did it! NV Transformations works if you stick to the plan and lean on the great social media family for tips. I went through the orientation and was sneaking out the front door afterwards because this is a no excuse plan. I thought that there was no way that I could do this with a full time job and two kids under four. Luckily I bumped into a friend who made me realize I could do it as long as I pushed myself out of my comfort zone. I am so grateful I did not walk out the door that day because I am 22.8 lbs lighter in only six weeks. The workouts are five stars. I enjoy how every day is a different work out. There were even new moves I had never seen on my last workout of the six weeks. I appreciated that the coaches would provide modifications if needed. I am also a big fan of Zumba Dan. Coach Dan radiates positivity and confidence. His outlook is refreshing when you are sticking to the plan. One of the down things is that his class on Monday nights is in the small room and there are no real speakers. I love to dance and it is hard to get into it when the sound is clashing with the other room and the lights are full blast. It could also be that I was spoiled because I love the fact that in the main room workouts have lights go down and music goes up. It feels like a night club and it is a great change to the normal stale gyms. I felt that my challenge must have been one of the largest because the classes were pretty big. I am looking forward to the new location because that might mean a bit more personal attention will be available on how to improve or push myself. Don't get me wrong, when I asked for help I received it. I also appreciated that Eric made an effort to learn everyone's name even if he had to ask multiple times. The down side of the large classes was that I didn't really have "a coach." People on the facebook pages would refer to "their coach." To my knowledge I wasn't assigned to someone so I thought that I might have been missing out. It also seemed that the coaches rotated through classes so we had someone different typically. I also feel like there is an opportunity for clearer information when it comes to the meal plan. Much of the information that is needed is spread across three pages in the workbook and sometimes contradicts itself. I did not realize until the second week that I was not suppose to dip into the bottom bracket of food. I was also a bit unclear if I was to follow the weight on the portion sizes in the book or the palm, fist, cupped hands portions recommendations. I think I are way too much food the first week which made for a slow start. I did get great support from Jessica when I knew I was struggling with my meals. Overall, I would say that if you have tried everything, nothing worked, then this is what you need to do. It made me accountable for my own actions and has started some great habits why eliminating the bad ones. I signed up for another round to say the least. read more

Just completed my first challenge and I am rolling over into my second. 21.4 pounds down, 40 more to go! I have been battling with my weight since I was in 6th grade. I haven't found anything that works until this program. You pay $400 to join the challenge, and if you follow their rules and loose the weight, you get the money back at the end. If you are over 30 BMI, you are obligated to complete a second challenge. This was off-putting to me at first, but I am thankful for the second challenge now. The food plan follows the clean eating model. It is extreme, but incredibility effective. The diet is not real world applicable. The only way I've been able to stay on the diet is to food prep EVERY SINGLE meal. Once I am out of the challenges, I am anxious to see how they suggest I adapt my diet to maintain the loss. The workouts are fun, well rounded, and diverse. I found myself needing help sometimes, and there was always a coach available to ask. You can tell a few of the coaches are not happy there. Its apparent in their demeanor they are burnt out with the program. Its sad to see, but a majority of them are encouraging and helpful. The biggest obstacles were the ones I created in my own head. Each day I had to push through the doubt, mistrust, and fear to make myself show up. Once I was there, everything was golden. Now, I crave my workouts and look forward to my jar of food! This program isn't for everyone. If you are unable to surrender yourself to their guidelines, you will not make it. If you fight what they tell you, then its not worth signing up. At first I did not know what to expect I wanted to cut a few pounds and see how it goes. Turns out i learned and changed a lot more then I thought I would. The workouts at first seemed like they were the same things over and over just in a different style. They actually were but it happened to help change my body over time by working harder and harder at each one. I felt myself get stronger and leaner. The workouts I was not to worried about, that is the easy part. The eating however was a struggle. The food in the beggining was hard to put down and meal prepping took a lot of time. After a few weeks and a bit of tips from the coaches and other people it got easier. The food still overall was the toughest part even after time but it was well worth it at the end. The hour long work out classes are always fresh and new and I can see myself physically progressing through them easier and easier as the weeks pass. The coaches are there to not only encourage you but to make sure you stay accountable and are never plateauing in your fitness journey. There are a huge variety of class times available 7 days a week, so there's never an excuse to not show up for yourself! What a journey it has been! This review will be extremely comprehensive. This program is real. You pay up front and if you meet all the requirements: lose the 20 lbs in 6 weeks, keep it off for an additional 10 days OR you go for round 2 to lose another 20 lbs go to the gym 30 times during the6weeks check-in on a social media site every time leaving a review of the program after completion They use the BMI chart to determine how much you need to lose. From a mathematical standpoint this program is harder for someone who is smaller and barely in the overweight range on the BMI chart than someone who is obese on the BMI chart. I lost exactly 20 lbs my percentage of weight loss as over 12%my friend who lost more than me starting out lost barely 9%in the same time period.However,the program is called the 20 pound challenge for a reason. Okay, let me say I did not follow their required food plan. I am a vegetarian/vegan and their food plan is a very high animal protein based diet.I do not agree with their diet and the way they have the participants eat. I understand the reason they feel they need to "dumb it down". Most Americans don't know anything about nutrition, so simplicity is probably best.However, I think education when it comes to nutrition is really important and they are definitely missing the point here. Though I did not follow their program,I have heard from numerous others that they wanted a lot more guidance in that area.I did this program as a vegan, and I didn't really have much support.I created my own plan and did a lot of research.I made some poor decisions and learned quickly from them. I tracked and measured everything all my food.I relied heavily on Arbonne's protein, fiber, greens, evolution line, and phytosport line.Others were talking about Arbonne's protein that it wasn't allowed on the plan due to the sugar content but personally I will take pure cane sugar over the artificial sweeteners in the whey protein they sell. All the food I ate was organic and NON-GMO.I ate a crazy amount of veggies. The workouts are AMAZING! 5 stars! They are tough, but you can do it,we all can.Most of the workouts are circuit based.HIIT style, there were also Tabata exercises and team relays. It was a lot of fun (yes I said fun) to push myself to accomplish more.Some days were harder than others, this was usually more of a mental thing than anything else.It's nice to be in a group where everyone is doing the same thing. Coaches, Staff, and the Owner: 3 stars Each time a new 6 week cycle starts everyone is supposed to wear name tags.However, the coaches don't. It seriously was my last week before I finally knew some of the main coaches names. I still don't know the names of some of the other coaches. Adding to this problem is the schedule online;when you book your classes there is the name of the coach teaching and it is often a different coach teaching the class.As for the coaches I do know:Chad,Dylan,Dan, Eric, Bre, & JD...they were awesome. Eric&Dan were by far the best cheerleaders. They are by far the most complementary, encouraging, and supportive. When they would come by and say "you got this" or "keep going, just a little longer"it was motivating!As for the coaches who weren't there very often, they were like the complete opposite, almost like a Negative Nancy only speaking when correcting form and even had expressions on their faces like they don't want to be there, like they are better than the program participants. This was discouraging. Correcting form is super important, but only talking to people when they are doing something wrong is exhausting to hear.All the coaches are a little guilty of giving the fit and attractive members a little too much attention. Favoritism is an issue.I would often see the coaches encouraging and bantering with the members who were excelling and never even speaking to others.The other thing that really bothered me was some of the negativity from the owner on social media.There is an age old saying,"praise in public and criticize in private".There is a rule (that I agree with) that being positive in the gym and on the social media group is required, and bad attitudes, would be cause for disqualification.However,I have seen the owner criticize people who are negative on social media.Honestly,it puts are really bad taste in my mouth towards this company.I believe it is completely unprofessional to be in a position of power and talk down to someone.Yes,those other people are being negative,they are usually discouraged. Their post should be deleted,and they should be talked with about their concern privately along with being reminded of the rules.I cannot express enough how disheartening it was to see these negative posts from the owner. My final take away... The workouts are totally awesomesauce! The program works whether you are a carnivore or a vegan,though don't expect much guidance if you are a vegan. Pros: Nv transformation is an excellent gym. They have plenty of equipment that is maintained in good shape for daily use. The gym is always kept clean and organized by both the staff and the members. I have attended 40 classes in 42 days including the Zumba classes that are offered there and have never experienced the same workout. (The Zumba class will kick your ass and have you feeling like a bad ass b*tch...even if you're a man). You are guaranteed to be dripping with sweat by the end of the hour as long as you put forth your best effort during the workouts. The trainers guide you through the exercises and provide modification for those who need it or have certain physical restrictions. Cons: The gym claims to offer nutritional guidance and support for challengers but I feel I received no assistance whatsoever. Whenever I had questions during the nutritional Q&A sessions the trainers would just tell me to keep sticking to the food plan....even when I hit a 4 week plateau. They suggested taking a picture of my meals and sending it to their personal profile via Facebook. I immediately did so, saw that the message was read by the trainer the same day but did not get a response. I sent another message which was also read and I did not receive any feedback until the following weeks nutritional Q&A when I had to remind the trainer that I had been waiting a whole WEEK for feedback. The trainers response was that the message was not seen even though it was. The only "help" that was offered was a printout about carb cycling. At this point, it had been 4 weeks of seeking nutritional help from the trainers and receiving minimal feedback. I ended up going to a nutrition shop in town for assistance where they changed my meal plan, vitamins, and took me off of the gym's protein powder. After this change I broke the 4 week plateau and lost more than 12 pounds in my last 1.5 weeks of the 6 week challenge. I believe I would have seen more results earlier in the process if the trainers were more proactive and offered better solutions to nutrition questions than just the "wait and see" feedback that was given. All in all, I would recommend the gym and their workouts to anyone looking to get in shape, but I would also recommend that you do your own nutritional research and do not completely rely on the gym's nutritional recommendations depending what your goals are. read more

Last year at this time I was probably in the best shape of my life. I never considered myself an athlete in high school or college. I exercised casually and would watch my intake when the scale started to tip in the wrong direction and I got by that way for a long time (except when I turned 21 and could buy beer). In 2014 I joined a running group after discovering that I could run more than 3 miles. Through that group I trained to become a better runner and, more importantly, I met my wife. She encouraged me to test my limits and in 2014 I ran my first half-marathon. As a swimming coach, she helped me learn to swim and in 2015 I did 2 triathlons and a trail half marathon. I looked and felt great. I could eat what I wanted because burning it off was never a problem. And believe me when I say that I like food. And beer. And wine. But April of 2014 something even better happened: we got pregnant. Now there's a phenomenon called "sympathy weight," and let me tell you, it's real. Here's how it happens. Your training partner's energy is being sucked up by this little human who needs a lot of energy to grow from a few grams to 7 pounds (6 pounds, 10 ounces). She doesn't have a lot left over for Tuesday night runs and Saturday bike rides and distance training Sundays. She also gets ravenously hungry and being the kind, loving partner she is, assumes you must be hungry too. So enter the snacks. That is how "dad-bod" comes to be. Coming to the realization that the scale was not malfunctioning and I was, in fact, gaining weight, I began to watch my diet a little closer and the weight-gain leveled off. But running season was right around the corner and moving 20 extra pounds around is very hard. I needed a tune-up. A few of my fellow runners started posting on Facebook about radical weight loss and some kind of "Results Challenge" thing and it piqued my interest. Could I lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks and get back to my pre-pregnancy weight? My body still remembered how to move and my metabolism certainly remembered how to turn fat in to energy. Thus I found myself at an orientation. It was standing room only at the Sparks gym. I'd already made up my mind but it was inspiring nonetheless to hear the stories of challengers: people who'd overcome incredible hurdles through sheer willpower and grit; people who had lost weight in the triple digits; people who could stop taking diabetic medication. A week later I picked up my diet plan and challenge handbook and did my first weigh-in. The goalpost was set, the terms were defined and all I had to do was race to the end. Now I mentioned that I love food. But I didn't mention that cooking is my hobby and that when I travel I scope out the best restaurants and plan my schedule around trying new things. I eat a huge variety of foods and will never turn down something new. And within my circle of friends food is often the central gathering point. The diet that goes along with this workout plan makes a lot of sense to me on a scientific level. In short, it's meant to encourage your body to put on muscle while reducing your fat stores. And it works. My wife half-way did the diet and took to swimming a couple of days per week and lost a reasonable amount of weight herself. But giving up the foods I love was the most difficult part of this plan. As creative as I am with food it was very hard to re-invent the same handful of foods every week. Even harder was the isolation from my circle of friends. It felt, at times, that I was under house arrest. The motto is "STTFP: Stick to the #&%*ing plan!". The expletive here is entirely necessary because it's not easy to sit at home by yourself and eat a bowl full of spinach with shredded chicken on it and some brown rice while your friends are out eating a steak sandwich and French fries. But you do it and you watch the numbers on the scale start going down. The other half of weight loss is exercise. This was the easier part for me. Sign up for a scheduled class. Bring water and a sweat towel and do the workout. Did I say this was easier? It was also fun. The coaches bring a lot of energy and were incredibly good at helping me find modifications that wouldn't aggravate the lower back injury I have. They helped me with my technique and form too and have given me many new exercises that I can use for the rest of my life. I brought my heart rate monitor to classes with me and when I put in real effort, I saw real results: between 500 and 800 calories burned in a workout and lot of them were fat calories. So now I'm here at week 5 with 22 pounds lost and having to wear a belt. I can fit in to my suit again and I feel good. I picked up some lessons in the kitchen as well. Use less oil. Cheese is not needed on everything. A little rice goes a long way. If you're interested in shedding the weight, I recommend this program. It's not easy. I will not kid you on this. Like for many others 2020/2021 has been a bit of a whirlwind for me. I'm new to the Reno area and just switched to a remote job. I figured i had quite a bit of weight to loose and needed to keep my mental health up from being home alone all day. Results transformation center has been a great gym to join! I love the sense of community you get here. The coaches are amazing and really help cater to your needs. Although we are in a class setting they provide modifications for those who need a bigger challenge or for those who need to take it a little easier. I much prefer having a coach explain to me how to work out instead of being clueless at a regular gym where you really don't push yourself as much as you can here. The classes are filled with people of all kinds which makes a heavier person like me feel more comfortable. They also have results anywhere which includes live and prerecorded workouts that helps me keep accoubtable on my busier days when i can't make it to the gym. read more

I have been drawn to the team environment that accompanies the cross-fit environment, but in watching those exercises I knew that it would destroy my back and probably do more harm. When I came across NV Transformation, I was pleased to see that fun team environment that I wanted but with a strenuous routine that would not cause me harm. The trainers take great care in offering accommodations to known areas of concern and offer modified exercises for many of the common movements. I did lose the 20lbs in the 6 weeks and signed up for challenges 2 and 3. After that, I'm definitely going month to month as I truly love this environment and program. I look forward to more locations and just hope that I get to keep my 2 favorite trainers! read more

UPDATE!!!! We have moved out of state, prior to doing this i completed my second challenge and became a member. I took advantage of the reduced pricing and paid for 9 months up front (at this point in time we had no idea we wouldn't be in the state of NV). I was also 'given' a free challenge to pass along to a friend (which i gladly did). When i asked if there was a way to get my money back (prorated amount) i was told that couldn't happen until i actually moved. I understand that. So after we moved 2000 miles i asked about my refund. I was told, even though i didn't pay the regular monthly price, that is what they would Taking away from What I paid for as my prorated amount that i would be receiving back...then i was also being 'charged' for my supposed FREE challenge i could 'give' to a friend! So i basically had no money left for them to refund! Moral of the story BUYER BEWARE...If you are even remotely thinking you may be able to get money back from this company you are WRONG! Just very disappointed that this was not explained to me at any point in time and at no time did they tell me I would have to pay back a 'free' challenge! Doing the 6 week challenge has helped me begin to change my life forever. I have NEVER been a gym person. This place is like NO other gym I have been to. I finished the second round. This was much harder than the first go at. I still tried to STTFP (stick to the f*n plan), but I wasn't always so diligent so it wasn't a huge shock when the scale didn't move every week. The FitFam was always sharing different ways to cook or season the food so it didn't become boring and repetitive. The workouts seemed a bit easier because my body knew what was going on. I was stronger and a bit faster with some of the workouts. I was super happy when the scale's numbers went down (of course) but the real progress and joy came when people started noticing that I was losing weight...not to mention I needed new clothes!! The coaches are so wonderful. I sat down with Dylan because I was worried about not making the final goal. He gave me some pointers on what I should do which included extra cardio after the workouts. I lost over 5 pounds that week! I also started going to the mobility class on Saturday morning. Coach Adriana led that class and she showed us the right way to do deep stretches with foam rollers and lacrosse balls. I have to say that Fridays are my favorite times of the week. The workout is lovingly called "Booty Friday"! That's also the night I go and join Zumba Dan for a great dance routine. Still can't make my hips move, but it's fun none the less. I'm down almost forty pounds, but I still have a ways to go. I'm a member of the club, but more importantly, a member of the FitFam. There is so much support from everyone in the community. I wouldn't change this experience for anything in the world!! I can only think of good things to say about NV Transformation Center. I successfully completed my first challenge by losing 27 pounds within the six weeks! My second challenge was much harder for me to complete due to the never-ending obstacles I faced in my personal life. However, I continued working out and pushing myself and I saw my body changing even though the weight was not coming off as easily as it did before. I truly believe that my journey was worth it and that I was successful in both challenges no matter how much I lost. The coaches are amazing and they were so helpful and knowledgeable. The food plan was hard for me at first, however it is very easy to adjust to with all the support of the fit-fam. It was such a rewardable journey and I am happy to be a part of the fit-fam.
