I've been going here since June and it's perfect for my busy schedule. I love hot Pilates and yoga but can never make the time to go to classes at studios. The fact that I can take a class at any time is extremely convenient. You book your class through the app and it does show you if someone else is already booked. Three people can fit into each sauna so you could potentially get the sauna to yourself. I think most people don't book if they see someone is already in a sauna. I've always been by myself which is nice. The place is always super clean. I've never had any sound, light or heat issues with any of the saunas. The small free weight area is always clean and organized. The place isn't always staffed but when it is the workers have always been really friendly. It's $79 a month for me but my membership only allows me to workout at this location. I didn't opt into the other one because this is the most convenient for me. Overall this place has what I need and I'll continue to go here for my workouts! read more

New owners have done a bunch of updates and everything has been smooth and a good experience since my new membership here.

I'm hugely disappointed in the owners way of doing business. I put my account on hold last year, then I asked him to cancel my service which he called after I left a voicemail. I was expecting my account to be cancelled as the owner seemed like a good person. Fast forward 10 months I happened to see a charge for the full amount. I looked at my bank statement and he NEVER CANCELLED my account. I called and left him a message and he didn't and wouldn't respond, but had his associate call me which had no idea as to what was going on. Then to make matters worse she stated I can cancel your account. I haven't been working out there since I believe March of last year. Honestly, I was expecting the owner to call me back and I still have yet to get a call back. Be careful if you cancel your service. Make sure to check! read more

Had to cancel my membership due to health issues. Submitted all paperwork required via email per HOTWORX request and to this day I'm still getting charged for my membership. I've had to report them for fraudulent activity to my bank account and request new cards. Originally the email correspondence for the initial cancellation request was a good and healthy back-and-forth. Once I submitted all my paperwork radio silence from HOTWORX. I had used HOTWORX in the past at a different city location before relocating to Sacramento. In my opinion, that locations equipment and staffing was better as I had no issues canceling my membership when I moved to Sacramento. They did charge more for than the Sacramento location for their mats, towels and other accessories but their membership price was less and customer service was better. I would still recommend HOTWORX, but maybe not this location. read more

The workouts are all great! Virtual instructors on tv screen in each sauna. Workouts range from 15 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the workout you sign up for on the self scheduled app. Love that the location is 24 hour access and no more than 3 people per infrared sauna. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the workouts and facility. read more

Broken volume dials in saunas. If you turn one of the volume dials all the way down, the speakers make an annoying humming sound. Some of the speakers dont even work in the saunas so its hard to hear. The staff is very nice though and the place is clean. read more

Buyer beware! Upon signing, staff conveniently lets you know after the fact you're required to purchase a $100 yoga mat and towel bundle for the rooms. The payment/cancel policies are scammy, (requiring THREE!!! Forms of payment and an ACH connection wtf?!.... needing to come in to cancel in-person, and requiring a month's notice OR a $99 fee to cancel right away) there's rarely any staff member manning the front desk, the management is clique-y and manipulative, whatever staff is in on any given day calls you on your personal device to guilt you into coming in. All in all, yeah it was nice to have access to a sauna on chilly days but it's not worth it any more. read more

It makes a noticeable difference in how my muscles feel after a workout, and my skin looks better too. LOVE THIS PLACE!! I signed up for the 3 month membership and have found I really enjoy coming here. I come straight after work so, I miss the rush. I am new at lifting weights so, I love that it's quiet and nobodies watching me. As if people are really paying attention to me because I'm that important. Anyway, I love the classes. My wife signed me up for Hot Worx after seeing some friends had been going here for several months and saw positive results, with this program and a good diet. I was a little skeptical at first, but after going for the first time, I was impressed. I met the owner (Manuel) and he was extremely patient, friendly, and helpful. My wife had previously interacted with Piper and loved her. I was impressed with cleanliness of the facility and if you're looking for more of a private place to work out with benefits of using a dry sauna at the same time, this is the spot. The sauna's use heat and infrared, and the workouts are amazing. I enjoyed the coaching via cctv, and variety of workouts. They also have free weights and a cable machine if you're interested. I highly recommend Hot Worx, and the benefits of the sauna are amazing. I sleep better and feel better. read more

LOVEEEE it here! Each class caters to all levels and I appreciate the ability to adjust the temperature to your own comfort level as well. I love fitness classes but always had trouble with finding classes that fit my busy schedule so the 24 hr classes is a dream! I love this place, it is such a personal space and the virtual classes are very complete and have a great variety. I've only been a member for a week but this week has been amazing. First of all just sitting in the saunas are relaxing in itself. The workouts are challenging and I love a challenge. I've also noticed that my mood is just better I feel more relaxed I feel more energized and happy, which is keeping me motivated to want to go back. I even went over the weekend and I actively avoid working out over the weekends. Piper is amazing she helped to set me up and walked me through everything! She will even sit there and just chat with you. Overall it's been a great experience so far and I'm excited to see how it continues to help me! read more
