Power Master is a great gym!! Unfortunately I had to cancel because I moved away but this is a gym…read moreI would recommend to anyone at any level. I completed my first bodybuilding prep here and it always had everything I needed. I think the most important thing is THIS PLACE IS NEVER PACKED. It's by no means a small gym but I rarely waited for equipment and it's typically pretty empty compared to most gyms. It's also SUPER CLEAN. The only downside I would say has happened in the last year or so where they've hired more younger people who often workout during their shift and don't pay much attention to customers. When cancelling my membership I waited at the counter until the boy on shift (who was actively working out with someone) realized I was there.

I was a member here for approximately 2.5 years and rarely write reviews, but I feel my experience…read moredeserves to be shared. The primary reason I stayed as long as I did was because the gym is usually quiet and uncrowded. Over time, however, I noticed increasing maintenance concerns, including equipment that remained out of service for extended periods, recurring air conditioning issues, and overall facility upkeep that seemed to receive less attention than it should. What ultimately prompted this review, however, was my experience with management. After 2.5 years as a paying member, I received a voicemail from the front desk staff informing me that my membership was being canceled because the facility was "not the best fit" for my needs and expectations. While I appreciate being notified of the decision, the explanation itself raised more questions than it answered. There had been no prior conversations with me about concerns, expectations, or issues that would have suggested my membership was at risk. Wanting to better understand the decision, I made multiple attempts to contact management, including phone calls and a direct message. None received a response. The issue was never the decision itself. The issue was the lack of transparency and communication surrounding that decision. After more than two years as a customer, I expected the courtesy of a conversation rather than a vague explanation and a one-sided notification. Customers should feel comfortable asking questions, raising concerns, and providing feedback about the services they pay for. Constructive feedback is how businesses improve. When concerns are met with silence rather than dialogue, it creates the impression that feedback is unwelcome rather than valued. No business is perfect. Equipment breaks. Air conditioners fail. Problems happen. What separates a good business from a poor one is how management communicates with customers and addresses concerns. In my experience, this gym fell short in both areas. In the end, PowerMaster Fitness felt less like a customer-focused gym and more like a private clubhouse that happens to sell memberships. If you're looking for a gym where communication, transparency, and customer feedback are valued, you may want to carefully consider your options before committing to a membership here.

Crossfit is all new to me, I was always the occasional gym rat. When I would go to the gym I felt…read moresomething was missing. I needed change so I joined Elite Crossfit and figured it out! It was the competitive edge, others pushing you, and a full time coach that cares about your technique. Its not just about how much you can lift but how not to injure yourself while doing it. I'm 43 years old and I'm over trying to be that physique model ;) I just want to keep up with my kids and NOT be that "Fat Dad". Crossfit is a whole new level! I started out with the Fundamentals Class they offer which I highly recommend if you are a beginner like I was. Its one on one with a coach that will walk you through the lingo, different lifting forms, and you get a complete workout each time. My Coach Michael Hrna coached me like an athlete, helping me understand how each movement builds you for the next one. This helps you mentally as you begin to increase your strength. Knowing what you do today will help you become better for the next workout. He told me "The workouts don't get harder you get better!" I can feel it already :) I've been at it for 5wks now and I'm down 9lbs and my endurance has increased 10X better. I love an early workout so the 5am class became my family as we all push each other into becoming better and healthier athletes. I feel like my membership fees are actually going toward the gym. The owner Jeremy keeps up with our equipment to assure everything is working and we have the best available. Just recently I noticed he started replacing our damaged weight plates with new ones! To me that says a lot about the gym. Honestly, who wants to workout in an outdated facility that you are paying a membership for. The BEST part I enjoy the most is how each coach, no matter if its Phil, Matt, or Michael they know I'm a novice and will take the time to coach me through each movement. Again, to make sure I DO NOT get injured. You hear to many horror stories about crossfit injuries and I'm hear to tell you I'm glad I chose Elite!

The coaches and owner are all so amazing and really care about you, your health, and fitness. Not only does Elite have great coaches, but the gym is clean and the equipment is taken care of. I love it so much! Try to catch either coach Alicia, Arthur, or Brenda's class, they make working out fun!

The coaches are truly next-level: they know your name, push you in all the right ways, and make every class feel fun, challenging, and intentional. The workouts are never boring, always effective, and somehow make you feel stronger every single week. And the community? Unreal. People cheer for you, celebrate your wins, and make the studio feel like home. I've made real friends here -- the kind you actually look forward to sweating with. If you're thinking about trying OTF, this is your sign. Walk in once and you'll get it. Best decision I've made for myself.

I should have noticed the recurring bill earlier. I went to this facility and the girl told me only manager can handle this and will call me back ASAP. I still have not received a call. I called my bank to dispute the oct cycle. If I do not hear from you guy by tomorrow am. I will report you to the San Antonio business bureau. How is it that you think it is ok to charge someone who has not been there since before the pandemic closing a monthly fee? Do not leave your credit cards there on hold. A fraud business. Update 2 Called again, they saw my phone number on incoming and my call went to voice mail. Used my son phone to call, "Carly" said she was busy answering another persons call. Now I was told there is no manager in this branch only assistant manager who is not going to be working till tomorrow. This was different from yesterday when I was told a manager will call me. Again I will give them a couple more days to figure out what the heck is going on. And a daily 1 star review until I receive a full explanation for this mess.
