I would HIGHLY recommend them and their methods - you can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and it's made a huge difference in giving my dog the chance to find real rest at home. They send DAILY updates with photos and videos which was so nice. This isn't a regular class or something you just pay for; it's truly an investment that you and your dog will be using for the time you get to share together. Every booking, every pet, every time: more signatures and "agreements" than a mortgage closing. Somewhere there's a lawyer who's never met a dog and decided the real threat to this business is the guy who's paid them loyally for three years. You carefully fill out the entire grooming form online, pick every option -- then show up and they shove a paper copy across the counter to sign the exact same thing again. And after all that paperwork, they still claim they don't have the phone number they've had on file for three years and called me on before. Let's put this in perspective. I can order dinner to my door in two taps -- Reorder, Apple Pay, done. A stranger drives hot food across town on the strength of my thumbprint. But dropping off dogs these people have known for three years apparently requires a signing ceremony and a fresh liability waiver every single visit. In 2026, that's not caution. That's a business that's forgotten how to trust its own customers. And then there's the membership -- the crown jewel of contempt. They took a system that worked and actively torched it. Gone are the daycare credit packs: fair, flexible, buy-what-you-need, the way a business treats people it respects. In their place, a pricier monthly "membership" that auto-drafts your card whether your dog walks through the door or not, with no rollover for the days you paid for and never used. Read that again: you pay, they keep it, your dog gets nothing, and they call it a perk. It's not a membership -- it's a standing withdrawal from your bank account with a bow on it. It punishes the exact people who kept this place in business: the regulars whose lives don't run on a fixed weekly schedule. Some months my dogs come once, some months five times, because that's how actual life works -- and this program is built to make sure I lose either way. It doesn't serve pets. It doesn't serve owners. It serves a spreadsheet, and it treats every loyal customer as a recurring charge to be maximized rather than a person to be valued. It is, top to bottom, the most openly hostile "loyalty" scheme I've ever been asked to fund. When customers spend more time signing forms and fighting your billing than petting their dogs, you're not a pet resort -- you're a law firm with a kennel attached. Take your pets somewhere that still remembers what the word "customer" means.

Since I was planning to go on an international trip very soon, I decided to stop by and inquire about its boarding services. I thought Henry, the owner, did a wonderful job explaining the ins and outs of Pup Scouts' boarding services during our impromptu meeting. He even provided a quick tour of the facility. While the boarding situation seems pretty standard, I was impressed to learn that it is a cage-/crate-free environment. Prior to booking a stay, the dog must complete 10 hours of of doggy daycare. I was not surprised by this stipulation. However, I was shocked (in a positive way) to learn that the 10 hours of doggy daycare is free. While Pup Scouts is a business, this showed me that they are interested in ensuring that the dog is a good fit rather than just focusing on profits. Online booking makes things pretty easy for reserving a spot. In most cases, I have been able to reserve slots for doggie daycare a few hours before dropping off the dog (e.g., booking in the morning for an afternoon stay). In terms of price, I think Pup Scouts is on par (if not slightly lower) to compared to other places in the area. While I've met only a few members of the staff, both persons were very professional and seemed to really care about working with dogs. During every instance of dropping off and picking up my pup, 1-2 customers would highlight how much they enjoyed working with Pup Scouts.

We had an unexpected family situation and were sure we would struggle to find the right accommodation for her. She is very affectionate but suffers from a bit of separation anxiety. Pup Scouts was incredible. They ticked all of the boxes - no crates, 24/7 staff supervision, flexible drop off and pick up - like ANY TIME. Henry was so friendly and understanding. From the start - he answered all of my questions at the meet & greet, and did a wonderful job of introducing other dogs to our little one. He was methodical and thoughtful in integrating her into the established "pack". He is incredibly gentle and affectionate and she took to him immediately. All of the staff were incredible. Having a live web-cam to check in on our little fur-baby at any time was so helpful in keeping our spirits calm and reassuring us that she was being well cared for. Pup Scouts is fantastic!

However, when we walked in, Dr. Brody and his team put us and Cornelia at ease. He was extremely empathetic to the situation we were in, and his team engaged with us with a calm confidence that made me realize things were going to be okay. When I picked up Cornelia after the visit, I even saw her licking Dr. Brody's hand, which she only does when she likes someone. In a high stress situation, Dr. Brody and his team handled the situation with professionalism not just for my pet, but for me as well, and that shows me a mark of a good vet who knows how to balance all aspects of pet care. Peace of Mind While Away: Thanks Erica!…read more My cat, Kira, can be a bit finicky and fearful, so I was nervous about leaving her for a weekend trip. I found Erica from Wags to Whiskers, through a web search, and was very excited that she serviced the Kentlands. During the meet-and-greet, Erica took the time to get to know Kira and her routine and preferences. For example, Erica asked about Kira's favorite toys, and where she might hide. When I am away, Erica sends daily text updates and pictures, which puts my mind at ease. When I return home, Kira is happy and relaxed. The litter box is clean, and her food, and water fountain are full. Erica's reliable, attentive, and loving care make my trips much more enjoyable because I don't have to worry about the care Kira is receiving. I would definitely recommend her to other pet owners as Eric cares for Kira as if she were her own! And that is hard to find!
