When he arrived, he really took the time to listen to our concerns and even asked to see some photos to get a better idea of what we were dealing with. After taking a look, he explained that the issue was actually outside the scope of what he usually inspects. But instead of just walking away, he stuck around, explained everything clearly, and gave us some super helpful advice. You can tell John really knows his stuff. He was professional, honest, and didn't try to sell us on anything unnecessary. In fact, he insisted on not charging us, saying he likes to "sleep peacefully at night." That says a lot about his character. He even sent us detailed suggestions on how to handle the problem--what kind of work would be needed, the materials to use, and even what kind of handyman to look for. He also gave us a few referrals to get started. We were originally planning a much more expensive fix, but thanks to his knowledgeable advice, we are able to switch to a more practical option and hence cut the cost in half. We really appreciate his honesty and guidance. Just a quick update to my previous review written on 9/26/2021…read more First, NOTHING HAS CHANGED about the positive review I wrote about John's services, however after some time has passed since we first met John, I do want to add that John is absolutely and truly one of those people who keeps his promise of "feel free to reach out to me in the future and I will get back to you on it". Despite having completed our home inspection many months ago, as we settled into our home, we realized small things here and there that we didn't notice earlier. Every time we encountered something new, we thought any one of these questions - What can be causing this? How did this happen? How can we fix this? Will this cost much? Is this a small or big problem? The bottom line was where do we go from there?! ... JOHN to the rescue! Every time we had a question, not often, but the few times we did, we took John up on his generous offer of reaching out to him and, NOT ONCE, did John fail to respond within 1 day! Not only has John been extremely cordial and professional with every communication we had with him, but he takes the time to write out detailed, technical and specific instructions on how we could resolve our home issues. Honestly, we would be so lost without his guidance and advice, but he has made our transition into our home less stressful. Our home inspector, Ray, was integral to us making an informed decision before taking the leap into home ownership. Ray was prompt and easy to get in contact with; he was always accessible via text or email. During the inspection, Ray did a thorough visual inspection and offered tips and useful information regarding what he saw. Our particular home inspection lasted about 2 hours and included a test for radon, mold, and oil sweep. We received our extensive inspection report within 24-48 hours of completing the inspection (radon and mold test results took roughly a week since the samples needed to be sent to the lab). We (and our attorney) were very glad that we were provided with such an in-depth report as we contemplated next steps. Ray is a licensed P.E. and his structural expertise was much appreciated. I wouldn't recommend and would never use him again. Zero follow up on his part. *Note before AAA makes any more excuses I have 4 months of back and forth texts trying to get the mold report and him not responding.

I was initially quoted $1,100 for hydro‑jetting a kitchen line and $425 for snaking. After the technician spoke with the owner, the price was slightly reduced, but it was still far above typical rates in New Jersey.There was also an additional $50 service charge that wasn't included in the job cost, which is not standard practice. All companies I have dealt with include that fee as part of the job if you approve the work.They also charged $225 to replace the sink cup (basket strainer), a simple part that normally runs $90-$180 total with installation in NJ. Again, the work was good, but the pricing is consistently on the very high side. If money is not an issue, I recommend this company for their professionalism and quality of work. I would have given more stars if not for the pricing. In my opinion, the overall cost structure feels like a rip‑off.
