Update: I found another dentist who is truly concerned about his patients and cares about how much they spend and is genuinely honest. This new dentist told me that he didn't understand why the original dentist who did my implant would want to redue the whole thing. My implant was done and it just needed a new screw. I am forever grateful to my new dentist. He searched and found a new screw replaced it and charged me the price of the screw. I paid close to nothing and to think that the original dentist wanted to recharge me the full price. Please stay away from this dentist he is not honest and want to take your money. Save yourself the time and money and find yourself another dentist. If you are local to me I will post a great review for my new dentist. After posting this comment, I contacted my insurance and they stated' " silver or porcelain crowns are set as the same amount covered by insurance since he is WITHIN MY NETWORK. He submitted his cost of fee to the insurance which he collected $980.00 out of MY OWN pocket. Then also submit it to my insurance. My Insurance paid their percentage of cost for crowns $565.26 as he accepted as full payment for treatment , and I was suppose to ONLY pay $99.75 as my copayment. They never returned my $980. 00. Love this place ! My 6 year olds had the BEST EXPERIENCE and I'm so happy about it ! They got their first tooth pulled out and they didn't even cry ! Dr.Lee is very gentle and made my kids feel very comfortable which honestly really matters ! Now my kids keep asking when will they be back to pull out more baby teeth Dr. Lee and his team even took the time to explain to my kids the importance in flossing and brushing and now they are experts in that, they can't wait for their next visit to let Dr. Lee know they have been brushing and flossing the way he taught them ! Meh. Dr. Lee and his wife are geniuses for opening up shop in a low income neighborhood. They know exactly how to target their audience- partnering with a popular artist who made it big from East LA, most of their patients are just of that: a referral. $60 to book a consultation is blasphemy and very sad. However I fell victim because they have good marketing and I wanted to see what the hype was about. I missed my very first appointment and 4 minutes after my appointment was scheduled I received a call to ask if I was close by. I explained I simply forgot and was willing to go in later in the day or reschedule however I was told that my $60 would be kept as the cancellation fee and I would need to pay again. Very harsh customer service if you ask me. I ended up talking to the manager via text and they allowed me to reschedule. Fast forward to meeting Dr. Lee and I explain to him that I'm there to get more info about Invisalign. In less than 3 minutes he tells me I need to correct some issues with my teeth ( I knew that already) and that the price is $6,500. Although I did my own research, it would've been nice to have the reassurance from a dentist explaining in detail WHY Invisalign is good and the pros vs cons.... how many times I would need to visit to exchange trays, how many hours a day I need to wear them, etc. Dr. Lee and his wife are clearly after money and not compassionate about people who are insecure about their teeth. I asked his pretty little wife where she gets her nails done and she chuckles and says " in LA".... no sh*t you got them done in LA. I will start by saying I was very excited ...just like anybody to visit a Dentist that looks like he delivers great results. #1 I was a cash patient. #2 I knew I needed Deep cleaning #3 I never thought I would be very disappointed After they took my X-rays and told me about all my cavities lol I wanted to know how much for the deep cleaning. First he said 600 then he kept talking and when to see the other patient then came back to me and he asked me if I wanted to hold off on the deep cleaning and come back. I said No, I can get it done now. He said ok it will be $750 including medicine . I said ok. I agreed because he looked like he knows what he's doing and was very patient! Before we started, the receptionist came to me and said ok I will take the payment at the front. I was disappointed and said, I will pay after he does the service. So she went to talk to him... long story short. THEY MADE ME PAY before they did my DEEP CLEANING. He did it in 45mins. I paid with no problem. I was also interested in invisaligners, the price he mentioned was VERY high. I will not mention the price because I don't want people to be discouraged. Two days after I went to a different dentist and I was quoted half of the price for invisaligners. Either way. Dr. Lee has very good knowledge about dentistry but IF YOU ARE A CASH PATIENT I WOULD SUGGEST THINK ABOUT IT 2X. I gave 3 stars because Dr.'s service was GREAT, too EXPENSIVE (maybe for me that I was a cash patient) and it's not professional to charge for a service that has not been rendered. read more

horrible, horrible, horrible place! went in for a consult, which i paid for, and does not go towards any balance. was pushed to call my credit company to increase my credit limit, so they can get 40k from me. ended up paying for a treatment. went in on dec 17th, and started, and i must say was the worst experience of my life! i was in excruciating pain, and they did not care, they literally damaged prior dental work, that i had paid for elsewhere, and they had the audacity to not fix what they damaged. waited almost 5 hours for them to just do a crap of a job: different teeth color, size, and shape, and let's not forget the pain i've been in since december. they took over 6k, no call, i've been calling weekly for management, and still haven't received a call up-to-date! they have not called to schedule any appointments, asked for a refund since january, and they have the nerve to say they will take a percentage for canceling, when they have made no effort to see me. the dentist is rude, and doesn't care about the patients. tried to express my concerns to him, and literally stated he wasn't going to waste his time. i've reported them to the better business bureau to see if they can help, since they have no regard to patients wants and needs, and since january no call or refund! read more

I've been meaning to write this review. I got examined by Dr. Lee last year and he was very nice and informative. I needed to get a crown replaced and he was very understanding.. I was also interested in braces and he gave me numerous options. Due to funds.. and an unforeseen huge expensive, I decided to wait on dental work. (I had previous work from alameda dental that I paid for that was done incorrectly.. and I was barely done paying them) But I did refer my mother and she got work done with Dr. Lee, she really liked him and I seen her new crown and it looks GOOD! Their work is good. I cant complain about that. But sadly how they run their credit is awful. Jenny is The person who initially help me on my 1st visit. She ran my credit and Said i didn't qualify for the dental credit card myself but if i could get a co-signer it might go through. So i called my aunt and asked if she could co-sign for me. She agreed. 1st treatment was done at the moment because "i qualified ". Dr. Lee examined me,did an extraction and gave me my options on what to do next. I chose a bride. I already had a missing tooth on the other side(which was missing for a few years now) Dr. Lee suggested i had a bridge done there as well but i told him i wanted to take care of the side he had done the extraction on. That i would think about it after my work was done on the right side. Well turns out the dental credit card was NOT under my name. Remember that "Co-signer" Jenny told me could help me get my card with? Well Jenny ran the credit as if my aunt was applying for the card. I had work done on my aunts credit without knowing! When she got the bill she called and said why i was being charged over $5,000 for 1 bridge. I was like nooo. Thats now how much they told me a bridge costs. So to top it off they had added the bridge on my left side that i said i would think about without me agreeing to it. Now i was stuck with a huge dental bill not under my name. It took me over 1 year to solve the issue because house dental had me call from here to there with one person to the next. Making it sooo hard because i couldn't call the dental credit card myself (remember it was on my aunts name). It was always he said she said and i couldn't talk myself to the lending club personel. I was able to get PART OF credit back for the bridge i didn't have done. BUT IT WAS PART OF IT. NOT THE FULL AMOUNT. i did end up paying more than i initially knew i was going to pay but i was on my aunts credit so i didn't want to ruin it. So if you are planning on going here and don't have insurance and want to apply for a credit card with house dental. Make sure it is under your name and if they ask for a "CO-SIGNER" that's a red flag there. And make sure you only sight off on work YOU agree to. Not what they suggested. First and last time I go into this dental office. I don't understand why overbook if there's only 1 dentist . I made an appointment based on the promo $60 consultation, xrays and teeth whitening. Well the front desk girl "Dalia" is either inexperienced or annoyed with her job, she has an attitude. I get to my appointment on time, fill out the paper work and she finally attends me after 50 minutes. Ok, I understand office can get busy, yet a local artist arrives after me and is seen right away, btw she was not wearing a face mask. Dalia or the staff should have asKed her to follow health guidelines and wear her mask. she gets my paper work and proceeds to ask me the same questions I had just answer on the paper work. Ok she takes my xrays and says "pictures came out blurry , you didn't move right". I'm standing in front of her , lady you tell me lol. So,finally doctor sees me he polite, but seemed to be in a rush, all this time I heard all staff having a good time laughing and chatting with this artist. After doctor leaves, Dalia gives me a run down of the same details that doctors just mentioned , I asked for prices. Her reply, " I'm not sure about the prices , I think $400 for deep cleaning and $250 for each cavity cover". This is unprofessional because 6the reason I went to this dentist is to get an estimate of exactly what I needed and if affordable to my income I was going to proceed with the treatment, since I am a cash patient. I was polite yet they gave me short answers. If I was an employee I would have been as detailed as possible in order to gain a clientele. I also asked her about the "teeth whitening" included in the promo and her reply was "you have to get the deep cleaning first". She walked out to join the party with her coworkers. I may not know t much about dental work, but why not explain that to the patient first. What a waste of $60 and time. I called to get more details on the prices , I explained I was a patient, but whoever replied said "we are not allowed to give prices over the phone , you need a consultation" and she hung up. Truly frustrated and unhappy. I thought i was going to a high end dental office. I got 4 crowns on my front teeth April 2019, which cost me 7k!. About 3 months later one of the front crowns comes off. He charged me $300 for a "quick fix" just glues it back on. That lasts a couple of weeks, now i have a crown falling out of my mouth as i talk, i deal with client so you can just imagine the embarrassment. I go see him again he wants to charge me 5k for a bridge in the SAME area i got the crowns, less than half a year ago! As we're discussing my options he kinds laughs about the whole situation, im not sure whats amusing and asks if my bf didnt have more money. No, sir this is my hard earned money! You would think as a professional he could have identified the tooth as to weak to hold in a crown and gone with a bridge from the beginning! I have no choice but to pay an additional $400 for a flipper! A flipper that ends up breaking after less than a month!! I go to him to repair it, makes me get off of work early then ends up canceling the appointment last minute & never called me to reschedule. Now, a 2nd crown ends up coming out!! I went to get a 2nd opinion & that dentist mentions how expensive it was & how these crowns are supposed to be permanent! he's doing everything for less than half the price! Never again! Dr. Lee and wife Jenny were super friendly and helpful to my mother who is over 70 and was getting several implants. He examined her with care and patience. My mother praised again and again on how gentle the doctor's hands were when treating her. My mother's English is not the best and the Dr and the team were also super patient and accommodating. She continues to recommend her friends to them. She had a quick if not immediate recovery after her implant surgery. Jenny called her a few times to check on her and all my mother could say was how happy she is with the result and the process. after trying to finalize treatment that was only started on my mother she and i had been really excited to finally get some veneers on her i hurried up and made a 5 star yelp review that i shouldn't have been so quick about before we finalized treatment. dalia slammed the door on me and the dentist wonjoon lee refused to respect our bogo deal that we had taken advantage of he told us that he wouldn't see my father after finalizing everything with my mother. my mothers treatment has taken over a year to finalize and now when we are getting close to finishing my moms dental procedure. this dental office has refused to take my father in and said that the bogo is now expired just because wonjoon lee said so and i was trying to get all the files for both of my parents before i left the office and he kept yelling at me to get out of the building he refused to give me all the files pertaining to my parents and threatened to call the police on me so i waited patiently for law enforcement to arrive and explained my situation he lied to the police stating he had no access to files until the next day and now im waiting for our files to see what i can do regarding this urgent matter! this dental office is located in a humble hispanic area and is used to belittling the underdog and i feel like we just got robbed! for $20,000.00 dollars my moms teeth kept falling off weekly unable to eat and now her gums bleed excessively, which she never had any problem with in the past! read more

I went for my first appt last week for my upper right wisdom tooth removal I was so happy I did. Dr. Lee took care of that in a blink of an eye. My experience was wonderful Starting from the receptionist that got me in as soon as possible, dental assistants that were so nice to me and thankfully Dr. Lee; I was taken care of right away and that was amazing to me, and especially how knowledgeable Dr. Lee is.
