As a Realtor, my clients expect me - and rightfully so - to set appointments for them so they do not have to worry about any issues. Well, I have never had as much difficulty trying to give a company business as I have with this one. I guess when you're big enough you can afford to be arrogant. Much more detailed in the measurements , placement and cost. Without talking to Steve from CSR, I would not have been able to request the additional piers from Thrasher. We had a very compromised foundation which required 16 piers. I would recommend to get a quote from Colorado Structural Repair. Their proposal was actually a little more detailed and it informed my discussion with Thrasher.

He could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but instead he pointed out everything was normal for the type of construction we have, and we'd do more damage than good if we did any of the fixes from the report. He recommended some other minor things but saved us probably tens of thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. I will definitely call Titan again if the need arises.

We hired them to reinforce the foundation where a few years before some tunnels had been dug…read morethrough the soil under the footings to put in some new pipes. This is an old brick house and the footings are several widths of brick laid directly on the soil, not concrete. The reinforcement is to pour some concrete walls under the footings to support them and to stabilize the soil walls of the tunnels. They also poured concrete to stabilize another area where soil had been eroding under the footing. We also had them remove an unused brick planter next to the wall. The estimator, Lance Heimes, did a very thorough study of the area and then carefully described to us the recommended work. Because of his attention to detail and good explanations I had a lot of confidence in his recommendations. The work went smoothly and looks good upon completion. The weak point with this company was communication. I had to call them up to find out when the work was scheduled, and even then we were never sure when the workers would show up. They also sent me the final invoice for the work when the work was only about half-done, rather than upon "substantial completion" as provided in the contract. They did finish the work a day or two later, so it worked out OK, although for a while I was worried that they had forgotten to finish the work.

We had CST do some stabilization in our garage as part of our home warranty because the floor had…read moredropped a little over an inch in the middle across the double car side and about half an inch in the front of the garage. I met with Tom Henkel who was great and he knew his business. The 2 man crew that came to do the injection were great as well. Very cordial and helpful. It was amazing watching as they did the injections and the floor raising back to the original location. Another thing was nice since we had our floor finished after we moved in was they only had to drill 5/8" holes at points to raise the floor. Barely noticeable with the finished floor. Sure beats tearing our 2/3 of the floor and replacing it then having to have it all refinished again.

He was on time for the appointment, took a quick look behind the paneling, and actually told us our foundation slab was just lifting (normal) and we had no structural problems. He took the time to explain the nature of our slab movement, causes for it, and potential complications - then let us know that we really only needed to have the baseboards and paneling cut near the floor to allow for that movement. So I contacted James, the structural engineer at Executive Structural Services, and asked him to come over and look at the situation and tell us whether any further work was needed. He was just here today, looked over everything, and told me it's fine and no need to worry about it. It;s refreshing to see a company so honest, as to look at everything and tell me that we don't need them to do anymore work on our foundation. I'd go right back to these people, if we ever do need their help in the future!
