    Mexican fries,.minus the sour cream
    Mary T.

Tip: You can ask that certain ingredients in the fries be held. I didn't want sour cream in the Mexican fries and staff were great omitting it. I love wings. I had no idea that WING IT! House of Fries existed in my stomping grounds until a Yelp experience drew my attention to it. I had such a positive experience that I returned for more good eats! This eatery is a few doors down from Federick Restaurant, which offers Indian and Chinese cuisines. One of these days, I'll drop in. This eatery is on the southeast corner of Markham Road and Karachi Drive. Costco (Markham east, as this city has two) is a couple of blocks away. I had no problem locating this place during my first visit. There was lots of parking. I backed into one and headed inside. I've had no problems returning, either! I was the only customer in this eatery at around 6:15 pm. It was great being able to take a few pictures. Staff are extremely kind and helpful. A male staffee guided me through the ordering process. I was getting a pound of wings. He pulled out the menu and said that I could choose a flavour from the extensive list. I had already reviewed the list beforehand (I'm not kidding about loving wings) and went with honey dill. He was pleased that I knew what I wanted sauce-wise. The next step was selecting fries. I went with Mexican. I asked if I could get the sour cream omitted. He said yes. Yay! I ordered the same thing last week, but online through this eatery's site. It was simple. I paid online and drove over here to pick up my order. This place is on Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Skip the Dishes. I like the online site ordering better. The canned drinks are excellent. I love the Crush line. I've had the cream soda and grape so far. This place has exotic pop drinks, such as Fanta pineapple. I knew that I'd like it here! I've never dined here. If you order at the eatery, the wings-fries combo takes fifteen minutes to make. I was good. I took a seat at a table for two. I watched the pre-game show between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks. The man let me know that my order was ready. It didn't feel like fifteen minutes had passed! I thanked him for his help and wished him a good evening. He wished me the same. I happily left with my dinner. For my online order, it was ready when I got to this eatery. I picked up my food, thanked the man, and left. I put my food in my insulated bag and drove home. I was looking forward to chowing down. The wings looked plump and thoroughly sauced. The honey dill sauce was whitish with lots of dill specks. It was almost as if raw honey was being used. It reminded me of the dill sauce that you get at St. Louis Bar & Grill, but I liked this one better. It was slightly sweet. I loved the dill. Each wing had the perfect amount of sauce without making it soggy. The wings were crispy and juicy. I got maybe more drums than flats. They were delicious. I want more. I thought that I wouldn't be able to finish the Mexican fries. Nope, I did. They were yummy. The fries had cheddar cheese, onions, tomatoes, taco seasoning, ranch, and roasted garlic seasoning. The cheddar cheese was melted and crispy in spots. I loved getting a bite of everything with the best fries underneath. The fries were long and had the skin on, which I loved. I am normally not a fries person, likely because they aren't special as a side. However, if you load them up with delicious ingredients, I'll love them, which happened here. I was so stuffed after both meals. They were excellent. I am constantly dreaming about returning for more. I saw on the menu that this place has wraps. It will be tough for me to order one, because the wings and fries have my heart. It's nice that there's another solid wing place in Markham for me to frequent regularly. It's becoming my go-to wing place to get my fix. (220)

I came with my husband when he got invited to a Yelp Experience. I also ordered their wing n fries combo which comes with one pound of wings & various fries options. I chose the house fries. For my wings, I tried the hot honey garlic parm. When we first arrived, there was no-one at the front counter so we stood there for a bit until a young gentleman came to greet us. He was very helpful and helped my husband pick his wing flavor. Since he likes spicy, he ended up going with Ceylon upon recommendation. Eaters beware! This is HOT even for my hubby. Once we placed our order, we just stood around to wait. After sometime, the young gentleman who does double duties (also works in the kitchen) came out to ask me what wing flavor I wanted again. With this, my hubby's order came out first & mine came out 10 minutes later so hubby's food was getting colder. We both opted to pay $1.50 each to upgrade our drinks. They have all these specialty flavors which was a nice option to have. My experience with the food was pretty good. A few things they can improve on is not overcooking the chicken as I found mine quite dry. Also, since there is so much sauce and toppings on the fries, the fries should be cooked so it is extra crispy. My fries were too soggy for my liking. Overall, I would go back as the prices are fair for the amount of food.

Pulled up to a must-try spot in Markham that's serving way more than just wings - this is a MUST TRY! @wingit.houseoffries is known for their All You Can Eat Wings with 100+ FLAVOURS (who doesn't love AYCE right), served twice a week! AND their famous house fries - this caught me so off guard - it was SO good. Here's what I tried -- and let's just say, my tastebuds went on a full ride: Smoky Tequila Lime - bold, zesty, kinda addictive Honey Garlic Parmesan - sweet, salty, cheesy goodness 416 - classic Sweet Cowgirl - BBQ meets dessert and I'm not mad about it Messy Sweet - sticky, saucy, easily top 3 Ceylon x Italian - hands down my FAVE. Spicy, herby, packed with flavour (QUITE SPICY THO - be careful) Cleo Fries - MY FAVE SIDE The vibe is chill, the menu is stacked -- wings, burgers, wraps, specialty fries -- they've got it all. Bring an appetite because you will want seconds (and thirds). Wing nights? Twice a week. Come hungry.

This wings place has 151 flavours, but as is usual, they are not explained on the menu & many are variations & combinations of other flavours anyway. Went for all you can eat wings ($28 on Mondays and Tuesdays: eat 2 servings & you make your money back). The place is tiny & they only accept walk-ins, so be prepared. They also charge $2.50 per leftover wing if you leave more than 3-4. Generally the wet flavours were decent or good, but the dry rubs were lacking, being underpowered & dry. Most orders came very quickly. Tried 16 flavours. Fire wings were decent: Jaffna fries on wings (creamy sauce & chopped onions & green chilis) & much less spicy than advertised. Seasoned was decent though slightly dry. Singaporean was like Buffalo with some spice powder on top, but the powder did not pop & was overwhelmed by the buffalo. Cajun was decent. Garpar was pretty good but a bit dry. Honey garlic was decent. Spicy Jerk BBQ was pretty good & I don't even like jerk. Maple n pine (pineapple) was good. Blue Jays is blue cheese: pretty good though a touch dry. Spicy masala is so so: almost like Seasoned, since the flavour did not penetrate. Garlic explosion & Sour cream & onion are both under powdered & dry. Roshyra blaze (40 Creek, BBQ, Onion, Pepper & Roasted Garlic) was crazily spicy (the spiciest we tried) but good with a sour tang. It was much spicier than fire wings though both had the same spicy rating. Spicy pineapple mustard was good & not really spicy. Cuban (medium, dill & Tex Mex) was pretty good. Hangover (Caesar, Ranch, Cajun & Roasted Garlic was pretty good but there was a bit too much going on there, so the flavour profile was crowded). Fries were pretty good & seemed made in house - a huge serving for $7.50. Also got the descriptions of some flavours for future reference: 416 is mild, butter & honey garlic with roasted garlic African is 3rd degree, garlic butter, roasted garlic & Tex Mex All In is dry with roasted garlic, Cajun & Italian Amazing Honey is Honey Garlic & Honey Mustard American is just Hot Blondie is pepper & blue cheese Canadian is just Maple Carpenter is Cajun & Honey Garlic China Town is BBQ & Teriyaki Dirty snow is Ranch & Tex Mex European is 40 Creek & Dill Guyanese is pepper, 3rd degree & pineapple Indian vs Ceylon are both tandoori & pineapple, but Indian is more spicy Island Mix is fire, pineapple, blue cheese & roasted garlic Mesquite Mason is Honey Garlic & Mesquite BBQ Messy Sweet Heart is hot, onion & ranch Ocean Breeze is pineapple & sweet & sour Scandinavian is Caesar & 40 Creek Sweet Cow Girl is Honey Garlic, BBQ & Teriyaki

This place definitely deserves for a five star rating I love their signature fries. It was super flavourful with all the toppings, cheese, onion, chilies, tomatoes, and that special sauce took this to whole new level. Make sure to get the tandoori mozzarella sticks that were super crispy and cheesy and spicy. Their wings were also good that a lot of flavour to choose from, but definitely do give them a try. You won't regret it. The manager service was excellent. They do have a few tables if you want to dine in.

Ceylon x Italian Wings and Cleo Fries
    Alice C.

We tried the Cleo Fries and Spicy Tandoori Fries, and both were packed with flavour. The fries had a good base and the toppings were tasty. We also had the BBQ Garpar Wings and Ceylon x Italian Wings, which were juicy and had unique flavour combinations that worked surprisingly well. The only thing was the sheer amount of sauce on everything. It felt like we were eating through a thick layer of sauce with every bite. Some might love that, but we would've preferred a lighter touch. Still, really creative menu and solid experience overall, we'd come back to try more!

Got the Mexican house fries and smoky dill wings. The fries were an unexpected delicious find! The smoky dill flavour for the wings could to be stronger. I would go for a dry rub wing flavours next time as there was almost too much space going on between the wings and fries. But otherwise, great flavours and solid wings + fries spot.

The spicy garpar wings was delicious and fresh, served with their loaded house fries on the side. Delicious! The service was fast and the staff was amazing and attentive

We had Cleo fries, Green chilli and onion fries and the garlic parm onion ring, and it was so good we couldn't stop eating. Lovely place. Great owner. Amazing customer service. Fresh cut fries. Would highly recommend. Well definitely be back. If you are up for a challenge we also tried their spicy challenge the Fire Fries. Soo good. So painful. DEFINITELY SPICY. BEWARE. I definitely couldn't finish and needed to tag my husband in.

Had a late lunch at House of Fries after seeing they offered AYCE wings at a pretty decent price. We went for the AYCE deal and added on Wing It! House Fries and Spicy Tandoori Fries. There were so many flavors to try, I honestly lost track of which sauces we had, but the ones that stood out were Hangover, Ceylon x Italian, Messy Sweetheart, and Lemon Pepper. Still trying to figure out how they managed to keep the quality this high while doing AYCE. It's definitely above the usual standard you'd expect from that kind of setup. What also surprised me was how different each flavor tasted. Even though a lot of them were drenched in sauce, they each had their own character. Only thing I'd nitpick is the fries. They were on the saucy side, and I kind of wish they used a better potato or just held back a little on the toppings. But that aside, I'd be down to come back again without hesitation. Service was great too. The staff were super attentive and happy to answer all our random questions throughout the meal. Really appreciated that.

My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised when we walked into House of Fries. First impressions of the establishment were promising, with a cozy small restaurant atmosphere decorate with bottles along the wall, it felt very comforting. The food itself was also quite the comfort, we ordered honey BBQ wings and the Tandoori fries. The wings were extremely savoury, thick, and well cooked. The tandoori fries provided a spicy Indian twist to our meal, they were also loaded with sauce. We definitely recommend this place, wing joints are common but this one seems to stand out above the rest. Thanks, -M

The most underrated wings!! This cozy little place serves the best I've tried! There's countless of flavours that range from extreme heat to flavourful mild. They have new flavours coming out as well! The house fries were also delicious. The onions, tomatoes, fresh chilli peppers and sauce blends so well with the fresh fries! The service is also wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back for their AYCE on Tuesdays!!

A boutique sized wings place for a quick bite or takeout! Service was great - took a short amount of time after ordering in person and it is very clean inside the store which I appreciate. I got the hangover wings with house special fries and honey garlic parm wings with garlic parm fries. So addicting! Especially the house special fries. The jalapeño gives it an extra kick. For those who like spicy foods - try their tandoori mozzarella cheese sticks. It's so spicy!!

It's probably best to come here when it's not a Monday or Friday. Sadly, Friday was my only available day, so I spent 1.5 hours to get my driver's licence renewed. Specifically, it was time to get my photo retaken. After It was done, I needed to fetch lunch. It was just after noon. I haven't been to this plaza for a while. The Indian restaurant next door looked like it had shuttered for good, which was sad. My original thought was to hit the bakery. An even better discovery was The Wing Spot between the bakery and Service Ontario. Perfect! I walked in. There was a mom-daughter duo having lunch. I was greeted by the nicest woman. I went with the special that got me a pound of wings, chili onion fries, and pop for $19 before taxes. I got honey garlic wings. She said that I could grab any canned pop from the fridge. I liked the variety. I saw peach, pineapple, and strawberry Crush. What got my attention was blackberry Dr Pepper. I got it. I paid with my credit card. I tapped and was good. I took my can of pop and waited at a table. Ten minutes later, my food was ready. She asked whether I needed cutlery and napkins. I said yes. She put everything in a plastic bag. I thanked her and happily left with my lunch. I put my lunch in an insulated bag. I then drove home, feeling accomplished that I got my driver's licence renewed and had grub to devour. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. I loved my honey garlic wings. I'd say that I got more drums than flats. I like them both, so all was great. They were large and meaty. The honey garlic sauce was the perfect amount that coated each wing. So good! I have never had chili onion fries. They were excellent. It had slight heat, but not enough to do any damage. I don't think I can get regular fries. I loved how tasty the onion, chili, green onions, and sauce were on the fries. I loved my blackberry Dr Pepper. It was refreshing and yummy. I wish it came in zero, but it was a nice change. This eatery was a wonderful discovery. I look forward to returning for more wings. This place has over a hundred flavours and the wings are halal. Their soft opening had a 20% off entire menu, and I ordered 5LB wings with 3 flavours (honey garlic, spicy thai, and devils ranch); I also got haddock and fries to try too. Wings were decently sized and flavours were not too bad, if you don't like overly saucy wings, then king of wings is for you. Haddock was a huge let down. It was super dry and overall not good, it didn't have any flavour and batter wasn't seasoned. Tartar sauce provided tasted off. Fries were okay. Only coming back for wings as they're considerably way cheaper compared to other wing establishments.
