The pho exceeded expectations with a flavorful, slightly sweet broth and generous portions. I just wish they gave more basil--it was barely enough. The ambiance and service are pretty average, nothing extraordinary. The Pho here is just nothing special at all. I have tried it on multiple occasions and every time I am left dissatisfied. Their other food might be great but I would expect a restaurant named "House of Pho" would have some seriously great Pho and it's just average at best. The broth lacks depth and just smells like cinnamon to me. The beef is pretty cheap tasting and they just load you up on cilantro stems (ew). Egg Rolls are fine. Price is above average as well. We have always loved eating here but the last 4 times the food gets worse and worse . I always love the spring rolls but the other day they were missing something . I ordered the beef noodle soup and it's always sliced beef till the other day see pic attached. The soup was very salty as well . They use to gave really good boba drinks but those are awful anymore , the hot boba is what's making the drinks bad . Come on guys let's get back to like it use to be . Best vermicelli I've had in a few years! Clean tables/floors/restrooms/etc, and seriously the best grilled chicken vermicelli. Pic doesn't do justice to the beautiful presentation (started eating before thinking to take a picture). Water was kept full, and service was attentive without being intrusive. Service was slow and my waiter was rude and unprofessional. No thank you and not once did he come by and ask if the food was okay or if I needed a refill on my water. It took him 10 mins to get me a pair of chopsticks with only a couple other guests in the restaurant. Upon paying, the darker skinned man told the woman to ring me up and that I had food to go. The peach mango tea with boba usssa AMAZING! It was sweet but not too sweet; perfect for this hot day. I would go back merely for that. I love showing rolls, I have them several times a month from a restaurant by me. I ventured out today to try them here. I ordered togo and my dogs was ready very fast, less than 10 minutes. I got home and I was not impressed. The pork is not seasoned well and was a tad burned. In addition, it was full of vermicelli and could not taste the pork until I took some noodles out. The parent sauce was decent, not delicious, not great. Overall, I would not order them again. I will say the 3 stars are fire the outstanding service and the tea. Portion sizes are very small compared to most Asian restaurants. Prices are for dinner plates but less than lunch sized portions. I used to be impressed by the food quality and consistency here but something has changed. For $45 for 2 adults and 2 toddlers to eat 3 "dinner" plates is too expensive. read more
