Okayyy Ft. Worth! The pho didn't disappoint here at Khanh's. I've been here twice. The taste and quality of the pho is consistent and warms your soul on a chilly day. I love how the eggrolls are served with romaine, pickled carrots and fresh herbs. The first time I was here the eggrolls were served "nude"... probably a one off or circumstances. The staff is wonderful and checks up regularly to make sure things are going good during your meal. The interior doesn't scream hipster vibes or intimate date night, but if you're looking for a hearty, hot bowl of pho, this is your place in Ft. Worth!

Having had pho multiple times, I was looking forward to trying the broth + noodle combo. I thought it was awesome!!! The spring rolls were alright, but would have been much better if there was a bit more flavor. My wife's beef with rice (#59?) did not have too much flavor and she would likely get something else next time. Overall, cozy space and a great wait staff. We will definitely be back.

Consistently good. I've been here before but I don't recall them having the flat noodles!? Maybe they were out of round? A new thing?? Broth still had good flavor. The server is super nice!! Ambiance is still kind of a strip center interior- nothing special. TVs to watch.

Fresh and delicious pho, awesome service and perfectly priced. This is my go to spot in my neighborhood. Service is always on point. Ingredients always so fresh. I love this place!

This restaurant is located within a business strip with lots of parking. I ordered the small combination beef pho. Broth was very flavorful and there was a lot of protein in it. I will be back to try different items on their menu! Service was good. The waiter was very attentive. Prices are reasonable!

Great food and service. The dining area is very relaxing, and it doesn't feel crammed compared to other restaurants in the area. I usually order the lemongrass beef with spring rolls and an iced coffee. My order is always reasy quickly and never disappoints. I recommend stopping here if you're in the area and want great Vietnamese food.

I said I'd be back, and here we are... This time we ordered the butter fried shrimp, pan fried noodles with beef, filet mignon over rice and a couple bowls of seafood combo pho. Just like our first visit, the service was awesome and the food was amazing! Come give this place a try, it won't disappoint.

Delicious beef pho! I got the combo round/skirt steak. I placed a to go order and it was ready in 10 minutes. The staff helping me reassured my meal was safe from my nut allergy as well. Everything was packaged nicely for me to take and enjoy at home. Can't wait to come back again and maybe sit and enjoy.

Pho was okay. Different flavor than what I'm used to. It was easy to order on the phone and pick up.

Big win for my fellow veg heads too, there are plenty of customizable options which I always appreciate. That said, both my husband's dish and mine felt a little muted. We were chasing that classic Vietnamese fragrance, a little more salt, a little more spice, and ended up doing some DIY with sriracha and extra jalapeños to get there. It definitely wasn't bad by any means, just not quite hitting that craveable level that brings you back the next day.

My husband always orders the spicy filet mignon pho, and it never disappoints. The broth has a nice kick, and the filet mignon is tender and flavorful. I usually like trying something different each visit aside from the spicy pho, and so far I've enjoyed the curry plate with grilled shrimp, sliced grilled pork, Korean BBQ short ribs, shaken beef, and the beef stew. Every dish we've tried has been satisfying, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. The service is always friendly and quick, even when they're busy. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and a nice place to relax for a casual meal.

While the bahn mi isn't exactly traditional, it is still very good -- I'd highly suggest getting it with the pate. The sampler appetizer has a little bit of everything and is great for sharing. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. Pad Thai also great! If you're a spicy eater like me, just go for very spicy. They have 4 spice levels (mild, medium, spicy, very spicy) and this is a reminder to myself to get very spicy next time. Thanks for the delicious meals!

A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.
