Stay far away from this company. They are simply not in it to win it. They are unmotivated. I found this company on Yelp and filled out a questionnaire on what I was looking for in an apartment. Then, I got an auto reply by someone named "Melanie". I tried responding back via text and calling but I don't think she is a real person because she simply would never respond back. So, I kept calling the main number and her number several times. I also sent texts to "Melanie". They simply would not pickup the phone or answer my messages. I am in the process of relocating from Chicago to Houston. So, I decided to give an apartment finding company a chance. In Chicago, there are a ton of these services. They actually will pick up the phone on the first ring and meet with you within days (usually the same day). This company not so much. I did end up finding an apartment on my own. It was tough but I did it with no help what so ever. read more

Could not be more impressed with Fredell. Without her I would have been in a huge mess. I arrived in Houston on Sunday night and realized I had booked a bunch of 1-stars off of apartment.com Started to panic as I realized I had no idea where the value in the city was. Called Fredell at 8 pm on a Sunday and she answered immediately, got a feel for my situation and started setting up bookings with quality apartments - that night. Next day was easy, she told me where to go and lined up the appointments and even thought about lunch. I was able to find my apartment in less than 24 hours and it's all because of her. When we first moved in the hallways and parking lot where a lot cleaner. All of the exit doors are left open. They always used to be kept closed and where when we first moved in years ago. Exit doors. I am certain that corporate is not aware. I called the firemarshall and was advised that they should be kept closed. Letting 100 degree winds from highway 59 and the noise is horrible. Guess the science of shade being 10 degrees cooler is something that management doesn't get. Decent property. They never replaced the palm trees so the pool is bland now. Frustrating as this property has potential to be pleasant. The staff are awesome and maintenance is great. read more

This is our second stay in Houston to see Dr, Dong Kim while visiting the Houston Medical Center. Deborah and her lovely staff, Doug, Michelle, and Sally, have been amazing both times. They go above and beyond to make your stay easy to book, have everything ready upon arrival. And once you are in the apartment, they answer the phone asap and take care of any issues. This time, they had this beautiful wool rug. Very high end. My husband was allergic and it made his feet itchy and red. They had a synthetic one here the next day. I highly recommend. read more

Fredell A++. I'm considering relocating form Seattle to Houston. I knew I would be in town and anticipated apartment searching. Colony Lakes Preserve, Stafford TX - Apartment Management has a contract with a towing company to tow your car without any notice or contacting the leasing office for approval to tow your car.   My lease car was towed within minutes of returning to my apartment after dropping my car off at a body shop. The leasing office was closed and could not obtaining a parking sticker until the next day. There is not a problem with residents having adequate parking spaces. There is adequate handicap parking spaces,  is only one handicap parking for about 50 apartments. I am presenting using crutches for a knee injury and would have parked in a handicap space if available with a handicap parking pass. The Leasing Management had no interest in responding to my complaint of being towed just days before Christmas and the fact that there is not adequate  handicap parking spaces. I strongly recommend you consider that the towing company will tow your car without any notice and will not contact the leasing office for approval to tow your car. Your friends and relatives may have there car towed when visiting you or picking you up and dropping you off. read more

Houston Apartment Insiders is a genius idea. I don't know why every city doesn't have a business like this. Fredell is amazing. I was trying to coordinate leasing an apartment and had no idea where to start besides trying to google names of apartments (which is not as fruitful as it sounds). She offered me a detailed list of apartments with corresponding apartment details and pricing. She even took me around to look at places when I was visiting! She really advocates on your behalf when dealing with the leasing offices and listens when you have a certain price range or preference in mind. There is no way I would have been able to find an apartment on my own, especially being in another state when needing to official sign for an apartment.
