I said ok then she went through the process and 20 min later she handed me a receipt and 30 dollars. Granted the money is not a big deal. My deal is and I expect this from every business establishment I go into is what I hear out of your mouth is she I expect to happen. She told me 40 I got back different. The atmosphere it gave me was that the kind of people who own this store were more likely people who inherited it or just got tied into it somehow and while they don't need it they still keep it open. Security, good customer to associate relationships all they is all secondary. That's my opinion however.

He weighed my gold and offered me a dollar amount, and when I back calculated that amount to verify his formula was correct, I noticed he actually skimmed $5 off the price per gram (reducing the payout rate to 75% of spot), claiming some BS that it's an industry standard to assume the gold's purity is actually lower than the stamped karat weight states. Not only did he take it upon himself to lower his payout rate after we agreed on the 80%, he lied to my face when I called him out about it. I ended up selling to him because I didn't know better and believed his lie. Since then, I went to a wholesale gold buyer who not only offered me 90% of spot, he didn't skim or feed me the BS purity lie! FWIW I've filed ethics complaints with multiple agencies about Klein Jewelry based on my experience, and I recommend you stay away if you expect a fair transaction.

Staff is friendly. We've been in other "pawn shops" that feel kind of dirty and this place feels more like a consignment/used merchandise place, so I would highly recommend it.

Got a pawn on my iPad at this location for a medical emergency and I logged out of my iCloud account with the woman associate before she closed my iPad case and gave me my ticket. Fast forward to not even 2 weeks later when I went to redeem my item and when I got home and turned it on for the first time after picking it up my iPad was restored to factory settings. I contacted the store immediately after turning it on, before I even had to set it back up again, and the manager accused and stated that I was lying and refused to take accountability for his business or employees not following their business standards. He then disrespected me even further by saying if I "got an official letterhead from Apple stating it was restored while in their possession" he would return the $20 interest I paid. $20 DOESNT RESTORE OR MAKE UP FOR EVERYTHING THEY LOST/COST ME. I unfortunately did not have any backups available so I lost pictures of my kids, purchases, journals, planners, etc. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR POSSESSIONS. They have been reported to the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC) and I will make sure the owner is held responsible.

Not necessarily a bad place per se, but kinda didn't feel entirely comfortable there.
