I did see an older kid dangling for a long time on the upper level without anyone noticing but she was able to help herself. I would definitely recommend younger children to stay on the lower level. They do have quite a few animals to admire and feed, pony rides, a train, playground areas for kids, a duck pond, a mountain of sand. As far as the animals go, they have llamas, sheep, goats, horses, cows, turtles, rabbits, chickens, ducks, pigs, and a donkey. You can go into a few of the pens to feed the animals. Others you can only feed from the outside. Some of the animals you can't feed. They specify all the rules at the front desk. We came strictly for the farm animals since our 14-month-old daughter has never met any. She's too young for playgrounds or sand mountains so we really only viewed the animals and took a train ride. Good thing she was free. If you're paying for a whole family to visit, you might as well spend a few hours here. Make sure you bring hats, water, sunblock. My favorite thing about here is that they have age limits and they don't charge if you're over the age limit or younger than the age limit. This was perfect because although I had my older daughter with me, she sat in the corner on her phone the entire time so I would have been more annoyed if I had to pay for her. My son, who also aged out, came in later and played for a couple of minutes with his younger sister, but was ready to leave and get snacks quickly. So I am happy that I would not have to pay for the children that don't actually enjoy being there and have to come with their siblings haha. I wish the woodland's children museum, including others, would adopt that philosophy. Having said that, the videos that I saw online made it seem like it was a larger place than it is. It's probably around less than half the size of the woodlands children museum. They mostly just had everyday toys over there and tiny little rooms that I couldn't really maneuver with my stroller. Parking is tiny, there are about 6 spaces in the front, but additional spaces on the left side. Once inside you will probably run into Syd who is running the business and will go great measures to make sure you are accommodated and your questions answered. Do you like Pinball? There are three machines right in the lobby as you enter and one video pinball with 150 games programmed into it, to the left there you will see about 8 cabinets of multi arcade games which should satisfy all of your childhood memories and keep you busy while not worrying about any quarters to lose.
