We were especially impressed with the fact they reengineered the system for performance and efficiency rather than simply sticking new equipment in place of the old. Their personnel were friendly, informative, and very respectful of our home and privacy. The new system has made our home far more comfortable - both temperature and humidity control has been tremendously improved. We have also seen substantial savings on utilities - both electric and gas. What had been a consistent source of trouble and expense in our home is now a source of comfort and savings. A 5-star rating would be justified If this was the end of the story. Just recently, however, the compressor failed - apparently a factory defect unrelated to any of the work by Advance Mechanical. The part is under warranty, but the manufacturer would not pay for labor to replace it because the install was just over a year ago (and the manufacturer's "labor warranty" is only 1-year even though the part warranty is 5-year). This was no surprise to us, the specifics of the warranty were explained to us when we decided on this equipment. Advance Mechanical, however, decided that this scenario was not acceptable and replaced the compressor at their own expense - we didn't even ask them for that! Clearly, we are pleased and very satisfied with our decision to engage Advanced Mechanical. Indeed, we are relieved that we found a capable and reliable company that takes pride in their work and reputation. I hope this review will help other people make a similar choice.

It got cleaned, I needed to go get the cash to pay them, so I got the cash went to Lowes bought the filters the techniciand who was at my house said to buy, he told me sister and she texted me the info caz I called her while she was at my house with the technician. I bought 5 filters of the size HE told me to buy. Brought them home, made a joke to the technician about this is the last part of the job, handed it to him and he installed the filter. Turns out it was the wrong filter installed all month, the filter was on the floor ALL month, caz it was too small, therefore, the machine needs a deep clean again. It is not working, freezing over and these guys WONT accept responsibility and fix the problem. They came yesterday looked at everything and is redirecting the blame to me saying it was my fault for having installed the wrong filter, when I didn't place it in there to begin with and because the closet was dirty. The tech was here and I gave the filter to him and my sister was here to even validate everything that transprired. I am not an HVAC technician, I followed what was told, used the 16×20 filter and change the filter once a month - I went to change it after the first month after they came and that is when i seen it was on the floor, everything was wet--- I followed what was instructed and now out even more money, but not before we suffer from heat exhaustion since I don't have another $800 to fork out to fix it right away. When they did arrive at the property, they just walked in and began working without notifying anyone that they were over there. After they had finished, they up and left without saying a word. I received a phone call the next morning asking if they were finished, and after paying I was told that an inspector would come to the property to ensure everything was installed correctly. They never showed. To be fair, I called the inspection company directly and ran into the same issue and eventually gave up trying to get them to come out, so I won't put this entirely on the fault of Service Plus. Lastly, after all of the work had been completed, I had to make several phone calls to the office to correct basic information on my final invoice. This company seems to do quality work, as I haven't had any issues with my new unit. However, they need to do a better job of communicating with their customers and handling things a bit more professionally.
