I had an appointment with Yana scheduled and the day of the appointment, she cancelled saying she had a migraine. I have very few timings open but managed to reschedule to a date in the next few days. My grandfather was diagnosed with cancer, and I had taken the day off to accommodate for his appointment and the lash lift. At 11:30, I realized the appointment was running late so I reached out to Yana asking if I could delay by 30 mins. She said no, so I rushed to take an uber to her studio. My appointment was scheduled for 12:30, I reached the plaza at 12:35, and I was trying to find her studio when I receive a call from her saying that the appointment was cancelled. I explained my situation to her saying that I tried my hardest by leaving my grandfather's appointment and rushing over within 15 mins. She was extremely rude, condescending, and did not understand the gravity of my situation and how quickly I had arrived. I mentioned that it was unfair for her to penalize me for being 10 mins late due to my situation when she had rescheduled the day of the initial appointment. She countered by saying "well I had offered you a 20% discount". Girls, I cannot express enough how much you should not come here for your lash lift. I have gotten a lash lift multiple times in the past and have never met someone so unprofessional and unempathetic. I was given such hostile energy and disrespect in spite of the fact that I had just come from an appointment of my grandfather being diagnosed with cancer. You would think that since the prices are much higher than average lash lifts, the customer service would be exceptional but instead I had such a negative experience. My first time having anything done to my lashes and I'm obsessed! Yana is awesome! Very professional and precise. The procedure took about 2 hours and you can't get your eyelashes wet or wear mascara for two days after, so plan accordingly. Although, you won't even need mascara after you have this done!
