Looking for landscape lighting? I noticed a neighbor a few blocks over had some installed recently and it looked fantastic - so much so i knocked on the door to ask who did it. They gave me the contact info for Houston Lightscapes. I called them and within about a week they had been to my house to look at the yard in the evening - set up some temporary lights so that I could literally see what it would it would look like...and within a few more days had new lighting at a very reasonable cost. I had it priced many years ago (pre-LED) and it was $5,000+ it's a fraction of that price now thanks to LED. After a few months - I had them return to light another area (stairs down from the deck which were very dark at night) and they did another great job. (and no more tripping on those steps). Mike Akerman did an outstanding job in lighting up our home with a great lighting package that brings out so much of our home, water fountain and all the trees and landscape. Mike gave us a great deal but more importantly he patiently explained how the lights will work at different places and angles to ensure the most optimal solution. He also came back to calibrate couple of the lights between path lights as were not sure how the lighting would look at certain locations. Houston Lightscape installed our first set of lights in 2013 and I couldn't have been happier. The lights added a nice curb appeal to home. We had a wonderful experience with Houston lightscapes. Not only did they make the front of our home beautiful, we now can play on our backyard basketball court at night. Very prompt and professional. They used some of our existing lights and replaced what was needed. We got three different quotes and Michael made us the best deal. They came early and finished up in about 5 hours. Bulbs were replaced with all LED lights added some pathway lights and a time for our porteche .
