I have always had excellent service here. I saw Dr McCormack before we moved three years ago and we both came back to him when we moved back. Even more special is that he remembered details about our lives even three years later, both medically and personally. It's hard to find primary care doctors who are engaged with you as a person and smart. Even morning labs were done quickly and efficiently. Never a long wait time for either. I feel well taken care of and my health is in good hands. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a doctor's office. After visiting urgent care twice this week with no relief, I went to see my primary care doctor, hoping for better care. Instead, the doctor I saw was incredibly rude, dismissive of my symptoms, and implied that I have a low pain tolerance, which is not true. He provided no medication or any form of help for my ongoing sinus infection, which I've been suffering from for almost two weeks. Despite testing positive for Covid two weeks ago, he denied the sinus infection diagnosis, even though I can't hear out of my ears due to fluid buildup. Urgent care confirmed my sinus infection just 24 hours before this visit. I left in tears, with no relief and more money wasted, while multiple nurses watched me leave without offering any support. Please avoid this place at all costs--they do not care about their patients. read more

Was told by a receptionist that they "don't accept COBRA". Cobra is not a form of insurance, but a continuation of benefits as a result of a severance package. Therefore, there's no such thing as "not accepting cobra". I did not have "COBRA", I had blue cross blue shield. I would prefer to go to doctors offices where the staff hired knows what they're talking about. read more

At first, I thought their boorish behavior was channeled towards me. However, after witnessing a staff member displaying the same behavior towards a geriatric patient, I knew this was the "norm". First of all reaching your PCP is almost non existent. Scheduled an appointment due to high blood pressure usually being in the range of 175-179 range. First appointment was told to take readings for a week and come back, Dr was going on vacation so Wouldn't see her until after the week, no medicine was prescribed. Next appointment finally given bp prescription and asked to go take an X-ray which was scheduled out a few weeks out it's been 3 months and Just got the call to go for the results. The X-ray dr set up another X-ray because it was so old! My pcp from HMPC never gave me refills for my Bp medicine despite calls to try to reach her. I've been on no medications for almost 6 months! Looks like have to start the process all over again with a New Selected PCP non Methodist cause this was the first Methodist pcp and so far it's been horrible with Dr Namaduri's office. read more

Is it just me or is the lady who does the blood work lack any kind of nurturing trait? This was my second time getting blood work done with her and I had asked her if I needed to roll my sleeves and she says "Yeah I'm gonna do blood work". Of course I knew that. That response made me feel like she thought I was dumb. I know why I'm in that room. I was looking for an answer like "Yes roll your sleeves just past your elbow". I had a similar experience my first time getting blood work with her. I again asked a "dumb" question and received similar responses. Tough love kinda person I guess? Unreliable and uncaring. I've been trying for months to get my pap done and when I finally got in for an appointment I was told it had to be rescheduled bc of my menstrual cycle. Finally got it rescheduled for a month later and the day before my appointment I get messages saying it has been canceled. Now I'm rushing to try to get it rescheduled and they aren't helping me at all and saying I have to wait another month before I can be scheduled again. I've never had so many problems with a doctor's office canceling my appointments the day before or the week of and then saying it's my problem to get it rescheduled. Outrageous read more

Spoke to reception, was passed off to some nurse who asked me some questions then told me to call an Emergency Care Center...I've been experiencing near seizure like blackouts and this is all I get...thanks! I've been a patient here for a year, and it has been a really great experience. The office is very modern, appointments are always on time, and blood work is taken ON SITE which is so convenient instead of going to the lab. I love the MyChart software which allows you to view all your medical records online, request refills, and easily communicate to your doctor online. I see Dr. McCormack, and he is wonderful! He's very easygoing, knowledgeable, and spends as much time as you need discussing treatment options. He's always interested in what you think about a plan and wants to agree on a decision together. You feel very involved with your care, and it's not in any way paternalistic. His replies to questions/refills outside the office are lightning fast, it's amazing! He is somehow always available to answer a question or help you if something comes up between appointments. He's very friendly and has a fun sense of humor. Dr. Belcher, who I've been with for the past few years recently joined this practice with Dr. Degazon. The location is fairly new, with the smell of new construction still lingering, leaving me with an impression of cleanliness. I do like when my doctor's offices seem clean, because even though I can't see germs I can see dirt. They offer online scheduling even for new patients, which is AMAZING. I've been fortunate enough to get online and make an appointment for the very next day, with the earliest times starting at 7:30am- great if you're trying to get to work at a decent hour! While I love Dr. Belcher, and have for several years, the staff here is also wonderfully nice and they do a great job of making you feel welcome. My first visit was for my annual physical, and they draw their own blood work on site- no leaving and making another appointment or even walking to a different suite. The woman drawing blood was super friendly and accommodating, even letting me lie down to have it done. You'd be surprised how many places won't let me do that, and then they freak out when I ultimately pass out, even though I warned them. Friendly care, fast service, and an easy location to get to- it's everything that I look for in a doctor's office. read more

I have a uterine cyst that causes me immense pain for 2-4 days each month when ovulating. In June 2022 during an ER visit for the pain, the doctor prescribed me hydrocodone. After trying everything, the hydrocodone was the only thing that relived my pain, it was such a relief! In February 2023 I started running low on this medication and was told over the phone that this could be prescribed to me at the same-day Houston Methodist clinic. So I went in, but the doctor said they could not prescribe a controlled substance there, but the regular office could. So I made an appointment a few weeks later for the main office to get a refill. I even confirmed again with the receptionist that hydrocodone could be prescribed to me. However, doctor Nassar told me she does not prescribe hydrocodone for "this kind of pain." I felt like a drug addict asking for it and like my pain was being minimized. She wouldn't even prescribe 1 or 2 pills to help with my next ovulation cycle until a more permanent solution can be found. I am so scared for my ovulation to start and the pain to begin, it is literally crippling. But instead, I will now need to run through a gambit of tests she wants me to do then potentially have the cyst treated. I'm so disappointed that until final treatment can be completed, I'll be in pain each month because she would not prescribe this medication, even though two receptionists and the same-day-clinic doctor said it could be prescribed. read more

Dr. Belcher is good. She seems pretty thorough so far. (been to her once and Dr. McCormick twice - I much prefer Dr. Belcher). The location is amazing as it's 3 minutes from my house. The only reason for the 3 stars is the woman who does the blood work (Gina maybe?). I have had blood work done twice. Both times, she did such a horrible job, my arm gets a huge bruise and is sore to the touch for 3 days. Wow - horrible! Then, on top of that, the last time I went in, I tried to be friendly with her and got zero response. At the end, she asked me to hold the gauze on my arm. I didn't hear her, so she said it again quite loud. I told her she didn't have to yell. If it were me, I would have said, "oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to come across that way" (or something similar)... instead, she says "I wasn't yelling". I suppose it's ok to not have friendly people in your practice, but it sure would be better if the person who probably sees ALL of the patients for both doctors at least at some point is at least nice AND capable of doing well the one thing she's hired to do. read more

I have been going to Dr. Sison for over 3 years for all my wellness visits and she was great. However, now they will not see you with any type of illness. I'm not sure what the point is of establishing yourself as a patient somewhere for them only to offer online visits when sick. Waited a month for an appointment... On the day of I accidentally went to the wrong location. Called the office and was told that they have a 20 minute no show policy. Managed to make it to my 1pm appointment with Dr. Sison at exactly 1:20, got checked in and everything by that time. And yet the doctor refused to see me... if I had have known that the no show policy was just a suggestion I wouldn't have showed up, I would've just rescheduled over the phone! Giving 3 stars cause 1) free parking, 2) nice office, and 3) the receptionist was really pleasant and understanding. read more

First off, I love the location. It is a 2 story building, new industrial style brick building with restaurants on the first floor with lots of windows. You don't have to deal with parking tickets, or walk a mile to get to the doctors office. This office, is in the heart of heights, which means NO TRAFFIC. Extra points for being a Methodist Primary Care Group. I went with Dr. McCormack for a physical and I don't have anything but nice things to say about him. He is down to earth, he went through my family history and recommended exams I should check into. He was personable and sympathetic. I think I found my forever Doctor :) read more

My best family doctor so far! Dr. Degazon is very personable and professional. Every appointment I had with her, she was very attentive, took time patiently to ask questions and do exams. Every time I saw her, she would check with me for what I went in for and also the past issues I had had too. I had adult acne and honestly she was more helpful than my dermatologist by giving me some very good suggestions. I have tried a lot of things in the past and thought only Accutane could help me but she gave me some alternatives, which I am very happy with now! One thing I find annoying in other places is that you make an appointment, you end up waiting for a long time when you arrive on time. I haven't had this kind of experience with Dr. Degazon. The office runs smoothly. The office is bright and nice. It has a lab onsite so you don't need to go else where for blood work. I would totally recommend her to anyone. She is also my husband's primary doctor. read more

Worst customer service I've experienced with a medical practice. I waited two months for my appointment. Less than one week before my scheduled appointment, they tell me the doctor has to cancel it. There were no lines when I arrived and the appointment began right on time. Dr Belcher was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, she was very understanding and explained everything. I have been seeing Dr. Sison since I moved backed to Houston in the fall of 2018. I was able to get a physical examination with her quickly, and she was very easy to talk to. Dr. Sison and the team are very fast at getting back to me on the Houston Methodist's MyChart (online communication tool). I was able to quickly get remote prescriptions for an important medicine while I was in Wichita for a family emergency. Their location in the Heights is a plus for me, as it's close to home and work. I've never had trouble with parking. I'm taking away one star because the clinic isn't amenable to walk-ins. Once I had some food poisoning and showed up as soon as they opened to get some medicine, but I was turned away because my doctor's schedule was full. I think some other hospitals allow exceptions for semi-emergencies like that, so it would be nice if HMPC doesn't turn patients away when what they need is urgent and relatively simple. read more

I had my yearly physical last Friday with Dr. Degazon. Even though the nurse was running late to work, they didn't make me wait and I was seen bang on 8 a.m. Dr. Degazon went over my forms and did all the diagnostics instead of making me wait for the nurse to arrive. She was very thorough and answered the questions I had very honestly. Great bedside manner. The location is convenient and there's plenty of parking. After this level of care, I will be designating her as my PCP. read more

I've had good experiences with the doctors, nurses, and most front desk staff. The phlebotomist seems angry every time I've seen her. She seems to have a short temper and ready to snap at you. It wouldn't be so bad if you could get an appointment within three to four days for a sick visit but it takes about two weeks to get in. Basically, they are only good for annual physicals that you can plan for. Otherwise, you're better off going elsewhere. read more

Methodist Primary Care Group is located in the same building as Black & White restaurant, with an entrance on 10th street. I stopped into this (new) location to learn about their services and capabilities as a satellite primary care office, namely if they had the ability to complete basic lab work on site for annual physical exams and common ailments. The front desk confirmed they had a Phlebotomist and all samples were sent off for testing. I completed all New Client paperwork in advance and made 2 appointments for my husband and son, 8:30 am and 9:00 am, to get their annual physicals. We arrived at 8:15 am. At 9:30 am, they were both still in gowns and little had been done, including lab work. There was no Phlebotomist in the office. Their equipment was not functioning properly, nor communicating with their computers. Their EKG machines were also inoperable. Approximately 90 minutes after arrival, we left with nothing more than their request to reschedule for another day... although they couldn't guarantee that anything would be working or that a Phlebotomist would be on site the next time around. read more

Great location in the Heights! The office is clean, neat and the staff is efficient. I had a annual check up with Dr. Degazon. I really liked her and she really sympathized with me on my concerns. I had to come the next day for lab work since I accidentally ate breakfast the day of my annual exam. No appointment needed for lab work so you can just walk in. Also, making appointments for doctor visits is very easy as you can make one online. I was very happy to know I can make an appointment that same week as other doctor offices you have to wait about 2-3 weeks depending how busy they are. I'm guessing since this office is still new they aren't as busy. read more

Flu and cold season on top of covid is a precarious time to go to the doctor when they refuse to see you. Let me start off with saying my entire household is fully vaccinated and wearing masks since long before CDC required them, work from home, abundantly cautious and no-one in my household has gotten covid thus far. I went in for a wellness check and blood work and what i suspected was a sinus infection with ongoing congestion. I asked if a notice i received counted as exposure- my child's school notified us that a teacher who worked with her class received a positive test over the weekend, she is fully vaxxed and wears masks in the building around the kids. however the only exposure she has to my childs class is during extended early and late hours when classrooms are combined, my child is not present during those times. no other student or staff member has tested positive or is symptomatic. I have done at home tests for all of us more than once, all negative. despite my explanation they refused to see me for the wellness visit. they offered to do a PCR test- which means i could have been seen - maskless obviously during the test itself- just not for anything other than suspected covid. after fasting all morning and not having coffee with milk this am... needless to say i am livid. horrible experience will not be returning. read more

Dr. Degazon is probably the best Doctor I have ever had in my 31 years. She truly listens to your symptoms and you genuinely feel her caring nature and actions. She is above and beyond professional and there are not enough kind words to say about her other than you won't be disappointed or frustrated in her care, she is simply the BEST! read more

I saw Dr. Degazon for the first time since my other Dr in the Medical Center moved to CA. They are super efficient, have a phlebotomist on site and ran an EKG. All were new machines. I have been so busy the last few months that I forgot to share my review with everyone. Dr. Megan Belcher has been my doctor for a year now and I love her! I started with her at Memorial Herman last March and she blew me away. I have trouble connecting with doctors because I need for a doctor to really listen and understand my concerns. Dr. Belcher listened and took her time explaining my conditions and what we were going to do to treat my symptoms. It's never a rushed appointment. When I'm in doubt about something she said to me, I just email her through mychart and she responds back within 24 hours. When I get lab work done, she takes the time to go through every test result so that I am not confused. I wish that I would have found her a few years ago, but now that she is my doctor, I feel more positive about my current health situation. read more

I love this office! The physician is hands on and the office staff is beyond friendly. When I first went to the doctor, I was nervous and hesitant about being open with someone about my medical concerns. The office staff loosened me up with their politeness. The physician was prompt and hands on. She even called me on a Sunday to deliver emergent test results. Most doctors that I have experienced would wait until Monday morning after 8AM to be concerned with a patient. The nurse is extremely prompt with contacting you back about any of your concerns. The environment is calm, clean, and modern. If you are looking for a physician that cares then this is the right place to go. read more
