And also includes small business offices. One of them being this yoga studio. There's 2 entrances. One entrance from the inside of studio, look for suite 149. And another entrance from the shared parking lot on spring street. I got lost finding the suite from the inside, but I came early, so I wasn't late for class. Parking- there are spots that line the building on Sabine street, plus the actual shared parking lot on Spring street, but it's not huge. It is residential area so not a whole lot of safe street parking, but you can try. The studio has all the things you need for practice: blocks, yoga blankets, cushions etc. Plus I'm sure mats and towels to rent. It's basically one large room. The instructor was subbing for someone else, can't recall her name. Class was relaxing enough, now that I know the lay of the land, would return. It's a nice space. Has a lounge area to relax before or after class. Plus some merch for sale. Art decor all over is nice and for sale if your interested in take it home. Plus cool plants all over. Namaste

I have been taking classes on Wednesday evenings with Kate, and I have to say, I am so happy to be…read moreback in my yoga practice at this studio. It is such a friendly and welcoming environment, and I have been recommending this spot to all my friends who not only want a nice workout, but a true mind-body connection and meditation through movement. Most of the time Kate does a traditional vinyasa flow class, and on occasion she will do a class with a specialized flow to help us learn a more challenging pose like crow. Kate is always very patient and encouraging, I love her positive energy. While her class is not advertised as a "beginner" flow, she still offers many modifications so everyone can get something out of the class. This studio has a wonderful atmosphere. The heated classes are not overly hot, just warm enough to get you sweating a little. The skylight creates a dynamic ambiance, and the touch of art, mood lighting, and plants dotted across the studio really ties everything together! My favorite part of the class is shavasana - not because it's over! (LOL) But because of the cool lavender towels we each get. Sometimes Kate even plays a beautiful crystal singing bowl to get us in a truly zen state of relaxation. The only minor drawback: parking can be a bit challenging on occasion, but only once in the past couple months I have had to park across the street at Spring Street studios.

They were beautiful aesthetically and seem to have literally everything that I've been looking for. The person who connected with me via email and text was extremely hospitable and kind. That drew me in. Upon finally scheduling my in-person visit for a tour, I met with Sophia. She was incredibly kind and patient and even was able to take a few pictures and videos of me. Without complaint at all. She even suggested some shots for me in the end. Lol. I later found out that Sophia is the manager. The manager. Sophia did not act like the manager. She acted like a very detailed and personable host. I was so shocked and beautifully alarmed that Sophia was the manager. When you are that humble with no need to feel above anybody... that's how you run a successful business. I am about to sign with them for a virtual office until I grow and then I will ultimately be signing on a larger contract. Colours by Earth Stone is a Houston based company with locations all around the country. There is a showroom and a warehouse here, where it seems a lot of material loading is done locally. I've been here a handful of times and have come out of it inspired and refreshed each time. The employees are fairly good about answering questions and I never felt pressured to purchase anything while perusing their endless selection of tiles. The latter might have newcomers feeling a little overwhelmed with the process, but I appreciate the variety in colors and patterns. I also really love the real world setups for the bathroom and kitchen. Estimates will vary, but do a little comparison shopping to ensure the best price. I feel the prices are competitive but might be a little more than some other places. At the end of the day, quality matters a lot, and they certainly have no shortage of that. Be sure to take home sample tiles for comparison and have a list of questions ready for the staff.

Huge slabs of quartz countertops in the warehouse to give you a better idea of what your kitchen will look like. We were also offered a small sample to take with us.

Beware of this supplier. We purchased 3 white quartz slabs (~$3200) from Hilltop Granite for a…read morekitchen and bathroom remodeling project. The slabs began to discolor drastically after 2-4 weeks of use. This is due to a manufacturing defect where 'micropits' exist in the slabs due to resin not being fully impregnated in the slab, allowing bacteria to grow and debris to accumulate. It look months of repeatedly contacting Hilltop to get them to come view the issue. Once there, the Hilltop manager in Houston acknowledged the defect (because this slab was made on their "cheap Chinese machine"-- his exact quote), but stated 'they offer no warranties or guarantees' for their products and attempted to shift responsibility to the fabricator who installed the slabs. Repair is not possible and both the slabs and attached tile backsplashes need to be removed and replaced. Hilltop's solution was to offer a free slab and leave us with the cost of removing and replacing everything else. Eg: leave us paying 70% of the cost to solve the problem caused by their defective material. We tried to go through Better Business Bureau to resolve the issue, they refused to resolve. We have now had your file a legal case against them to try to get a fair resolution.
