For the next follow up appointment, he was not aware of MRI and I had to ask him to review my MRI twice. He walked out the room to review MRI and came back in 30 minutes and says it's not too bad.

Dr. Noonan performed a very complicated hip surgery on my Mother in June when she broke her hip and femur. He said her fracture was one of the top 10 worse he'd seen. She's currently in rehab with frequent follow-up appointments with Dr. Noonan. He is very personable and communicates well with the family. He is just as engaged in the recovery as the surgery. We originally had our appointment in the afternoon, but my father passed away the day before (SCREW YOU COVID!) - We had prayer on the same appointment day, so I called in to see if we could get seen sooner. Without hesitation, the receptionist asked me to come in the morning. As soon as we arrived, Dr. Anderson was already anticipating our arrival and immediately had us seen before we even sat down. Dr. Anderson was just so kind, friendly, and so engaging. Although he had to fit us in his tight schedule, he took his time and was so compassionate. He evaluated my son and listened to our concerns calmly without rushing through. He had a smile on his face and explained what the issue was along with providing solutions on how to treat and prevent the pain. He provided us additional resources, and demonstrated different stretching exercises for my son. Dr. Anderson had us taken care of so quickly, provided amazing bedside manner, addressed our concerns spot on - and it really made a difference in our day as we struggled with our grief. I came in wearing a splint I had been prescribed by my orthopedic doctor that was covered by my insurance . Dr. Das had a preference for his own splint, saying it would be better. He put it on me in the examination room and had me wear it to the checkout desk. At that time I was charged $81.19. Why would he put a brace on me and not tell me insurance didn't cover it and not tell me a price before he had me wear it.? I felt embarrassed and tricked. Because he told me it was going to be so much better than the orthopedist's brace and my embarrassment, I paid for it. I am on Medicare and a fixed income, This felt very wrong and predatory. After wearing it home, I kept having to adjust the brace, because it didn't stay in place. It did not keep my hand and wrist stabilized. The advantage sold to me was the open area between bars would keep the brace from rubbing over my injury. Instead, it wouldn't stay in place and the bar would ride right on top of my injury. At my follow up appointment, I told the doctor the problem with his brace and that I had been using my orthopedic brace since I had seen him last. He offered no compensation nor discussion. At the checkout desk I told his nurse of the problem and she said she would put in for a refund through the manufacturer. It could take up to 30 days. I have called Dr. Das's office every month for four months now and they tell me they are waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. I'm not going to ever see a refund. Dr Das never should have pushed his wrist brace on me without see if my insurance would pay for it. The brace I was wearing worked perfectly. Because, the brace from my orthopedist was covered I assumed this one was as well and I let him put it on me. It looked like a good design. I felt duped and preyed upon when I had to pay the $81.19, but I trusted that at least it would be more comfortable. Instead, it did not function as it should have. Again, it twisted and would not stay in place. I never needed a new brace in the first place. He was just working for the Medical manufacturer, pushing their product that was completely unnecessary. I would tell anyone who's thinking of going to him to find another doctor. This one is just out to make a buck at your expense.,This took a big chunk out of my budget in a fixed income.
