OK, here's my process. I try a restaurant at least five times before I leave a review. That way, the viewpoint expressed isn't just a good day or a bad day, but the average day here's my review after quite a few visits... This place is sooooo inconsistent. Sometimes it's legit, other times it's a waste of money. Unfortunately my most recent visits have been lackluster. Sometimes they charge for honey or sauce, other times they don't. The prices are a bit ridiculous, especially for the lemonade. Sometimes food is hot, like fresh out of the frier, the fries are crispy and perfect. Other times, fries are kinda mushy and blah. Chicken is thin and dry. My most recent visit, I didn't tip. I'm low on cash, and a $20 sandwich place should be paying their people fairly. You order standing up, bus your own table etc. so what are you tipping for exactly? I've got fatigue in the subject. Anyway, The guy was suddenly visibly irritated when he gave me my number stick. The friendly person I talked to 20 seconds ago was gone. My friend did tip. Friendly guy stayed friendly. His meal came out first even though I had ordered before him. No big deal. His and my food were actually photo worthy to show the difference. His fries were golden brown, the chicken looked awesome... mine? Fries were old and bendy. Sandwich was thin and seriously jerky like texture. The cashier guy even came to our table and specifically stood with his back to me, and over the top after like - asked my friend how his fusion fries and meal were, if he needed sauce or anything else to make his meal more enjoyable. Then turned so he didn't make eye contact with me and walked away. My friend and I started busting up. It was so unnecessarily passive aggressive. The weight was not long at all and so I got my word to go and came back home. What's really cool is they come in a decorative little box which is kind of fun and is a nice touch for the meal. Now let's talk about the food. The fries were super good, they had a very light seasoning on them, which is good because the seasoning really lies in the chicken. Chicken sandwich first, as I knew that the chicken tender was going to be spicy and I did not want to destroy my taste buds before having the chicken sandwich. Let me tell you something, this place ain't playin'. From the first bite, my mouth was definitely at an almost unpleasant heat level. I take the full responsibility for that, as I did not know when they said spicy they meant spicy. I powered through it though, and found it to be one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It was crispy, and the spice was addicting for sure. Pickle or two. A bun was super fresh and it was absolutely delicious. The french fries were on point super crispy and lively seasoned so there was definitely no problem there. To be honest, considering the level of spice in the spicy chicken, I was a little nervous about trying the ready for takeoff spice level. Let me just say this, the spice level was definitely hotter but not that bad. I almost think having the chicken sandwich first prepared me for the chicken strip. I definitely used a lot of the sauce on the chicken strip and I think that helped navigate the heat level. Was I sweating at the end of my meal? Yes, yes I absolutely was. But it was worth every bite. Bottom line? I will definitely be going back to this place, although I may have to readjust my reasoning when choosing spice levels. I came here on a Friday late night since I was craving chicken tenders. It was a great choice. Starting from the service, angel took our order and he was super pleasant. We got mild, medium, and honey rub. They were all delicious. I usually can't take spice that well but the medium wasn't that spicy to me. I got the house sauce which is prob the best. I recently moved to the area and have frequented this location a few times! Out of the 3 times I've eaten here, I've had 2 great experiences and one less than stellar. This place is just going downhill. I come here on a regular basis. The last two times I've been here, I've waited for my food longer than what was listed for pick up time on my app. It's beyond ridiculous. I understand you guys might be short staffed. But you should probably try to fix that. Today, there were all these people waiting in line and I didn't realize people were sitting down and waiting for their food as well. There was at least four people working, I don't understand the delay. Maybe they just need to shut off their online services and focus on the people there if they are that busy. What really made me more mad was that my order was already ready, and the register Employee kept telling me it wasn't ready. I literally waited for 20 minutes for nothing. My food was in front of her face sitting on the counter, but she couldn't tell if my order was ready. How pathetic. This is why I do NOT TIP. The last few months though my brother has been raving about it so I decided to stop in for lunch. I got something different from the first time, loaded fries with medium sauce, hold the pickles, and a side of ranch. I was very impressed that they bring you your food in an actual bowl, though actual silverware would have been nice. I felt like my fork was on the verge of breaking multiple times. My bowl came out and I was honestly surprised by how much food there was, which is always a plus. I was able to finish it all but I was definitely full for awhile afterwards and I heard a few tables around me asking for to go boxes. Like my last visit, my food was just fair. There was nothing wrong with it but I don't think it holds a candle to some other spots around town, notably Chicken Shack. The medium sauce didn't really have any spice to it, their house sauce was too sweet, and their ranch just wasn't it. The fries were crispy and the chicken was juicy but other than that, it was just something to fill my stomach which is not something I like to say when going out for food. I will say though the dine-in experience was very pleasant.
