My mom's appointments have been messed up twice, and both times we showed up only to find out she wouldn't be receiving the service she was scheduled for. On both occasions, we were assisted by Emily at the front desk. The first time, a few months ago, we arrived for my mom's appointment and were told there was no appointment in the system. I'm fairly certain Emily was the one who scheduled it, but I had no proof, so I was essentially made to feel like it was my mistake. Since then, I've started asking for appointment receipts every time. Most recently, I requested that my mom be scheduled with a different dentist. Emily helped us and even printed an appointment slip with a handwritten note stating the appointment would be with the new doctor. We arrived, waited almost an hour, only to be told the appointment had actually been scheduled with the original dentist. This situation is especially frustrating because I have to take time off work to bring my mom since she doesn't speak English, and I also have to bring my one-year-old with us. After waiting nearly an hour for nothing, we had to reschedule yet again. The only explanation I received was that there "was no note in the system," which is why the appointment hadn't been changed. How is that my responsibility? No one acknowledged that the mistake was made by the office or apologized for the inconvenience. The front desk staff could really benefit from better training, especially in organization, communication, and empathy. Mistakes happen, but taking responsibility and showing empathy toward patients and their families goes a long way.

Very confusing. But for myself, I had to stop going. My teeth are pretty unhealthy & had a lot of areas of sensitivity & decay. The dentist was QUITE heavy handed with the scaler & when I winced or pulled away scolded me rather than express any sympathy, telling me "it has to get done so you're just going to have to sit still through this". No I'm not. I'm going to a different clinic, sir. I'm at Chrome Dental now and could not recommend more!

Staff gives conflicting answers on how this could be remedied, none of which are correct. The hygenist that I was assigned to, is not patient friendly. She complains that her shoulders ache because of the angle of the chair that is comfortable to me. When I contact the office and ask not to be scheduled with this hygenist, they reschedule the appointment to a later date but with this same hygenist. Appointments are hard to get, they clearly have the facility to serve more patients but it is under utilized. When I recently (in person) inquired if I had any outstanding payments and notified them to close my account, I was assured that it was taken care of. One month later they are renewing the supplemental dental insurance policy I purchased from them in the past. Ugggghhh.

I explained on the phone BEFORE making an appointment that he likely either needed a filling or an extraction. He is mid 80s with dementia, and severe respiratory illness. I took a day off of work to bring dad in and after an x-ray, they said extraction was needed but the "doctor" didn't feel comfortable doing it and that he needed to reschedule with an oral surgeon. They flat out mislead us. Total waste of my day. Dad had to suffer through an additional week of pain. But here is the kicker. The oral surgeon has him in and out in like 30 minutes and the total bill was $405. These JERKS wasted our time, did NOTHING, and still billed us $352. Buyer beware - these people have no soul.
