Great dentist. Extremely poor support staff. You will be lucky to get in once every 12-15 months.

The care I have received over the last 17 years has been prompt, kind, effective, and promising. I have a severe overbite that has damaged my entire upper palette. Dr. Ray's empathetic approach gives me the confidence that even my case is not hopeless. He has developed a personalized care plan for me that I feel has outlined the best possible outcome for my situation.

But, doesn't every story have a BUT, Dr. Andrew Scott, is a new friend of mine. I would promote him to divine sainthood if I had the capability. I had multiple extensive dental procedures completed over multiple visits. Dr. Scott created an upper 6 tooth partial, which is one of the best things that has increased my quality of life and created a beautiful smile. A smile that I rarely showed. I had the dreaded "root canal" that, if not for Dr. Scott and team I would have walked out when I heard the words. With their support, patience, and encouragement, I survived. Therefore, I now have placed my faith and trust in Dr. Scott and hygienist. Now I'm NOT overcome with heart stooping anxiety upon opening the door. If you have any fear of the dentist, Dr. Andrew Scott will be the dentist to put your fear behind you. 1 million stars

Initially, I was thoroughly impressed with Fox View Dental, and I'll give you some context for why. My childhood dentist retired, and I chose Dr. Moira Kraft as my new dentist. Immediately, there were issues, and she was distracted while working on my teeth. I needed a few silver fillings replaced, and while she was working, she spoke about her personal life with her asst. and even took a phone call in the middle of one appt that lasted several minutes. Also concerning, when drilling off the silver fillings, she wanted me to swallow the water and debris, and I thought dentists used suction for that. I choked on a chunk of silver filling, but eventually it came up, so she gave me the suction to do it myself, which I thought was a dental asst's job. Two teeth were left in serious pain, and one felt like pieces of the filling were falling off. I addressed these concerns over several months, but I was dismissed. One tooth severely abscessed, and I was happy when Fox View Dental took me as an emergency patient. Dr. Yenchesky showed me the X-ray, explained that the pulp had been drilled into and that the tooth died. He carefully selected an antibiotic for me as I'm allergic to many due to several orthopedic surgeries as a child. The staff was so kind, and I was happy to have found what I thought could be a flourishing and vibrant dental office. He sent me to his endodontist, who had very negative things to say about the dental work Kraft did and told me the tooth could absolutely not be saved, as the bottom of it disintegrated, was disintegrating my jawbone, and was causing a substantial infection. The tooth was pulled at Bay Oral by an oral surgeon, and he spent a lot of time scraping the dead tooth matter out of my jaw. When I got home and changed the gauze, it wasn't red blood but black blood. I then wanted to establish care as a new patient at Fox View Dental, so I scheduled a new-patient exam and paid the $499 fee. His staff took X-rays, but I did not receive any information about my teeth or a treatment plan. Dr. Yenchesky seemed to want to discuss that he disagreed with the endodontist, at one point even saying "what the hell" about what the endodontist told me about my poor dental work. I was there to move forward with my health and new dentist, but it seemed he wanted to defend her. I have my own opinions about Dr. Kraft, including being left in severe pain, her condescension and incompetence, and my opinions were not going to be mitigated. I spoke with his dental assts. about the tooth with the pieces of the filling falling off. I also called about the tooth pain I was having, trying to keep the focus on me, as they promise patient-centered dental care. Dr. Y. decided to put a crown on the tooth, but during the procedure, there were sharp pains and a lot of pressure. I asked several times if there were complications and only received the answers: "Everything is normal" and "No complications." Fox View Dental was then closed for two weeks for vacation. Everything that followed was extremely painful, so I requested several adjustments to the crown when they came back, and then I called to say that the adjustments had not worked and that the pain was increasing, my gum was completely red, and my eyelid was drooping, but I was told Dr. Y. was out of the country on a six-week hunting expedition. My primary care doctor suggested a second opinion, so while he was on his six-week hunting expedition, I went to another dentist/endodontist, and in the X-ray I was shown two deep fractures. They said it would only get worse and the jaw was completely inflamed. The tooth was then removed by an oral surgeon, who confirmed my jawbone was inflamed, and bone spurs with stitches occurred over the next year, along with the recommendation of a bone graft. So Dr. Chad placed a very expensive crown over a fragile and fractured tooth. A $1900 crown on a fractured tooth, and it didn't last three months. I also found him to be very brusk and rough in my dental care. Out of the three months I was a patient at Fox View Dental, "Dr. Chad" was gone two of those months on separate vacations. My attorney told me that if complications occur, a patient can request a refund for crowns and other procedures, and the American Dental Association has resources on how to do so. This is my opinion of Fox View Dental. Advocate for yourself- request your money back and write honest reviews about how you were treated. During this time my mom died unexpectedly and the money I used at Fox View Dental came from her life insurance policy, so Dr. Chad took money from my personal tragedy from losing my mom and it is very expensive at Fox View Dental, likely to support his extravagant lifestyle. I do not recommend Fox View Dental and I would say completely stay away from there. Request your money back.
