I found the office decor very clean and colorful. I had xrays done be a new person being trained. Was glad to see her trainer was helpful to her. I met the dentist and we decided to pull them right away. I was a wreck! They don't use nitrous oxide so it was even worse for me. I was numbed and given time to collect myself. Dentist was very patient! When I thought he was finally done with the first tooth, he tells me he was all done. I couldn't believe it! wooowhoo. He did a great job stitching up as well. The only thing I worry about is that I heard him say he was leaving in a few months and the guy he was showing procedure to, I would never feel comfortable with him. It does seem like they must have a big turnover that is why I did three stars. As far as my personal experience I feel very fortunate I had a very good, personable dentist.

I sat there waiting and her assistants came in twice to check on me to see how I was doing and I let them know that my mouth and everything was really, really numb and that I was ready for her to pull my tooth. They said okay and that she'll be in soon in about a few minutes to see me. An hour and a half later she still hadn't pulled my teeth. I got up and walked away to talk to the front desk to complain and told them I waited for an hour and a half and that she still hadn't gone in to pull my teeth and that my whole mouth and right side of my face is really numb. Someone at the front desk went to find out what was going on and why was I still waiting. Then they came back and said she'll be ready to see me in a few minutes but she's gunna have to numb my mouth a little more so she can pull my teeth. I told them that my whole mouth was already really numb and that no I'm not getting it more numbed. I ended up canceling the appointment and walking out. I'm gunna look for a new dentist. I shouldn't have had to wait that long, especially when I was there early and on time for my appointment. I understand she may have been busy with other patients but then Idk why they scheduled me to come in for 2pm if I'm just gunna sit there almost two hours with a numb ass mouth. It took 7 hours just for my mouth to unfreeze and get feeling back and be able to eat and drink again. I will never go back to Familia Dental again. Rude dentist, inexperienced workers, and highly unknowledgeable. They are all newbies there. They owe me an explanation for why I sat there waiting that long and they owe me an apology. I definitely DO NOT recommend going to either of the Familia Dental locations.

Having no crown at all for two weeks has not been easy or entirely painless either. I could have made an appointment with a reputable company and not wasted my time here. I told him I was not numb and he told me I was even though it was MY MOUTH. Did the filling and didn't listen when I said there was something wrong. It felt like the cavity wasn't filled all the way but I trusted the dr. Called back a week later saying something was definitely wrong and I was having pain where I didn't before, I couldn't chew (I still can't) and I have so much sensitivity. There are spaces open between my tooth and gum where food gets stuck under the filling and I can't floss b/c it hurts and the floss gets stuck IN my tooth. They brought me in and told me it's just a new filling and gaslit me to believe there wasn't anything wrong. 2- I can't keep an appointment... They are constantly cancelling my appointments and can't reschedule me within my available hours and the issue is always that "the Dr. is out". Hire a new Dr. I finally scheduled with a different dentist office for my cleaning AND to get this wonky filling fixed so I can eat without pain.
