Bob is the man! He's FANTASTIC! Friendly and knowledgeable, and offered info without being pushy. My boyfriend and I went in for a fridge and my dad a stove, we all left happy and got the appliances we wanted. He was able to work his magic to get us some great discounts that really lowered the sale price. Sticker price was $1600 and we got it for $1000 (before taxes, delivery, takeaway, etc.). Typically buying large appliances is stressful, and I was stressed as I was trying to decide, but to my surprise, I left with zero stress about the big purchase. Couldn't have been a more positive experience. Be sure to ask for Bob if you visit! Note: the store has a lot of liquidation items in stock (maybe all?), although he did say you can order boxed appliances. I'd never bought a display product but I couldn't argue with the price. And they write down any damage if present, so you know what you're getting will be in good shape when it's delivered. read more

I have purchased 2 dishwashers, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a washer and dryer from Howard's. After all this you would think they would appreciate your business. I had a problem with the ice maker on my refrigerator. I called them and the useless Epic warranty company and neither one will dignify me with so much as a return phone call. Jessica from the Corona store was amazing! We called her Thursday night right before closing because our oven stopped working out of nowhere and we needed a new one before Easter. She stayed on the phone with us and searched for a solution, and took our name and number down to call us back the next morning, where she continued to search for us. She found one that they had in their location;however, it was for another client who was redoing their kitchen, and she told us that they had some setbacks with the remodel and she was going to call them to see if they needed it right away, or if it was still going to be a few weeks. Turns out, they were not going to need it right away, so she was able to sell us that one and had everything set up for us to have delivery and installation done today, the day before Easter! Service was extremely poor as I had to chase down the main manager to get a refund for something I never received. Value is non-existent as I paid top dollar for a washer that broke 5-months after the warranty expired. I do not recommend this place at all and will never shop there again. read more

If zero stars were an option, that's what they deserve. I purchased a washing machine with an extended warranty through Epic. The warranty is worthless. I have attempted to get service since December! No one has come out to even look at the washing machine and no one cares. Howard's clearly doesn't stand by the products they sell. read more

Please avoid this place. Three years ago my mother in law purchase a new LG refrigerator. About a month ago the compressor went out. My wife had a tech. Come we even purchased the extended warranty to avoid any issues. Long story short. Had a tech come out, we were told by the tech. my mother in law needs to move the fridge and vacuum out the compressor. My wife said how is an 86 year old elderly woman suppose to do that, plus we were never told about this maintenance. So for a month my elderly mother in law is living out of a cooler. And my wife is constantly having ice delivered to her house. She does not drive. And my wife called today to verify if the parts came in, no nothing. So if you are taking care of your elderly parents and there fridge goes out. Avoid Howard's they are not friendly to the elderly. I think they take advantage of them. And they have no shame. My suggestion is purchase at a mom and pop appliance retailer. Such as Hartshorn and talk to Patrick. They have their own tech. In house. Howard's farms out there service calls, And they are totally headless. I'm shocked about the positive reviews. But when you screw over the elderly like that, on a fixed income, it's pretty bad. Jessica helped us at our visit while looking at refrigerators. We had our rambunctious 2 year old with us and she was totally patient with us as we had to split our attention. She was very understanding when we had to take a few moments to tend to our daughter and was able to put on a show to help settle while we discussed our options. She was super informative about the products and willing to work with us to get a great deal on a fridge. They have a great selection to choose from and even more that they can order. Quality of products sold could highly improve. 10 months ago I had the center support for my bed break (the last yelp review). Here we are 10 months later and the same thing has happened to our bed frame again. Truly don't understand how that happens. Can't fit under the bed to pull the support out, so how is this possible? This review is for this location only. Honestly I'm shocked at the amount of good reviews. I was in need of a refrigerator and Jim helped me place my order on 12/8. At the time of order, there was no guarantee of a delivery date, just a reference to "likely next week." Fast forward 12/16 and still no update. On 12/19 I call for another update and still nothing. I cancel my order with Bobby (Jim was off) since I am not provided with an estimate delivery timeframe. Following my cancellation, Bobby calls me back saying they've located a fridge and can schedule delivery. So wow, now you have a fridge available? That was quick. I cancel anyway since I was able to find a next day delivery with another retailer. On 12/21 I receive another call from Jim saying the fridge has arrived and he would like to schedule delivery. I reiterate that I canceled the order two days ago and he seems confused. He has no idea. At the end of our conversation he confirms that a cancellation/refund will be initiated and that I will receive an email confirmation. On 12/23 I still have not received an email. I call to follow up. Jim seems to rush me off the phone saying refund will be processed. It's now 12/27 and I still have no confirmation. I call again to request a copy of my receipt. I speak with customer service - Val - who shares that he isn't seeing a refund initiated for my order. He quickly escalated this issue to the manager and regional manager, and an hour later I get a call from Val and an email receipt. If it were not for Val I don't think my refund would have been processed nor my issue resolved. So thanks to Howard's customer service - 5 stars for you Val. If you're thinking of purchasing from this location look somewhere else. Their team has communication issues. They want to keep your money - and they almost kept me from getting my $4900 refund even though I canceled my order prior to it being confirmed + shipped. read more
