I left a review a couple days ago and it is gone so I will try again. I guess everyone has an opinion on pizza and I do not agree with the other reviews. We got a deluxe pizza it had about 2 tbsp of sauce and 2 lbs of hamburger on it (if it was sausage it didn't taste like it) We took it home and put salsa on it in the a.m. was a little better. The restaurant was decorated cute and tacky The carpet saw a better day in the late 70's one of the chairs had a huge burn hole in it. UGH The waitress was on her game, salad was good. I apologize it has taken me a little while to write this review! I have moved to several cities in several states over the last ten years and, no matter how far from home I seem to get, there are certain things that just can't be forgotten. Howard's pizza is one of them. I have been eating Howard's since I was four or five years old and my parents would take us there after trick or treating. Rather than focus solely on flavor for this review, however, I want to express my gratitude for the amazing customer service provided a few weeks ago. On very short notice I had emailed the 1st Ave N location as it's connection to the Stein Haus holds sentimental value for my family. I had requested space be reserved for around 25 guests who would be attending my dad's 70th birthday party. Without any hesitation, they emailed me back and told me that they would be happy to accommodate! I was obviously happy about this and even more so when, on the day of the party, my mom and I arrived to ensure all was set up for us and it definitely was- on a busy Saturday no less. Pizza sauce lacks any resemblance to flavor. Crust was thick and tasteless also. Chicken wings over fried and dry. Delivery over an hour.

Best pizza in Great Falls! Delivery is fast, hot and fresh! Great sauce, more than enough cheese and pleanty of toppings! When you get tired of the bigger chains, give Howards a shot. read more

I am very disappointed in Howard's pizza. This was my second time ordering from them (the first time wasn't good either but I tried to give them another chance). I ordered pizza for delivery and requested extra sauce and light cheese. Well the pizza showed up over an hour later with extra sausage, light sauce, and extra cheese. I called Howard's and told them my order was wrong and I wanted a new pizza. The second time they sent it it had light sauce and no cheese. I give up. Will never order again. read more

Very thin, sliced so you cannot pick up a normal sized piece and flavor not good. I will not order from here again.

I haven't had Howard's Pizza since I moved to California 33 years ago and I still think about it! I was reminiscing and decided to look it up on Yelp and saw someone wrote about the water wheel. It sparked a memory for me from when I was 10! I still think I can smell their yummy pizza! I wish they could find a way to ship it, I'd order it right away! We love Howard's pizza! We always get the deep dish. Love the Howard's special: sausage, onions, and green peppers. The thin crust is a little like a saltine cracker but a lot of people love it. Tried the sauerkraut pizza, didn't care for it. No fresh mushrooms, but they said if we brought our own they'd put it on a pizza for us. I wish they'd take their crust recipe and make breadsticks! No breadsticks on the menu. Howard's is our favorite pizza in town. read more

I love this place because it has two sides, the Howard's side which is kid friendly and the Steinhouse (bar) side where you can order a plate of peanuts and crush the shells on the ground. You can still get anything on the Howard's menu regardless of which side you are on. read more

My middle son has been around the world 6 times and hasn't found anything as good as Howard's Pizza. It really is unique and delicious. Every evening just before 5 p.m. that ad runs on T.V. Yummy! So Called to order pizza and other things and this is how the call went. I dialed the phone and it was answered as follows. "Hello" I Reply "HI" , Silence "can I make an order for delivery" "Umm Yea, what would you like" So I Said "Lg Thin crust Pepperoni and sasuage Pizza, Shrimp basket, and Breaded Mushrooms , with 2 sides of Ranch please." "Oh, so you want a lg pizza peperoni and what??" "Sausage", "Ok What dinner did you want?" "Shrimp" "2 sides of Ranch", Yes "what was the other thing?" "Breaded Mushrooms" "Ok Let me go get your total, that will be 34.15, ok" "OK" ,"It will be a little over an Hour" , " That is ok", "SO it will be sent out then." I then say " Would you Like to know how I am going to pay???" Oh are you going to use a card? Yes Can I get the Number I repeated the number 3x, and exp date. ok Thanks Well you will need the name on the card ok , Repeat that 4x you have your total right yes, I am waiting for her to run the card ok, thank you, BYE I am now really hoping that i got what i ordered and that it is right. read more

The Thin crust pizza at Howards would hold its own with any New York pizzaria i've ever patronized. My favorite Montana pizza joint by far. The sausage and pepperoni pizza is out of this world. Get a pitcher of draft beer from the local Belt brewery to wash it down. Consistent quality, no pretenses, lots of wood paneling, friendly service, good value. read more

Worst pizza ever. I'm from out of town. Pizza took one and a half hours to be delivered to my room. Pizza was not cut completely in slices. Pizza was extremely salty. I ordered hot wings and there was no hot sauce on them whatsoever. It was like eating fried chicken. Pizza and wings was roughly $30. I agree with Jeff S. from Folsom. We also moved from Great Falls to CA, in 1979, and now live in Folsom! My wife and I, and friends from the Tribune, would often end up at the Stein Haus after work on Fridays and order Howard's Canadian bacon with mushrooms pizza, and a pitcher of beer. ($1.25 I think). What a treat! I remember the older couple who would sit at the bar and speak with English accents that many of us thought charming,only to learn later on that their accent was phony. Funny! When the subject of pizza comes up we often talk about the great pizza we used to get at Howard's. Hope it's still great! read more

To whom it may concern. I walked in to the Howards Pizza Saturday evening at approx 8PM to place an order. I was waited on promptly and my order was fine. My concern was the attitude of 3 people on general. The girl/lady that appeared to be in charge ( she was taking the pizza out of the oven and packaging the orders) She has no personality and treated one of the boys making pizza with utter disrespect. She belittled him in front of everyone, talking down to him, training is one thing, how she treated him was and is deplorable. Same with the other 2 males making the pizza. They treated the same male with the same disdain acting like they were better and he was less then a person. At one point one of the males even used the "F" word. Is this how we treat others? Is this the image you want to portray to the public? It is at this location. What a horrible example of customer service and an even worse example of how to treat others let alone a co-worker.
