We were in the area for Old Pogue and loved the look of the patio so we decided to eat here for lunch. They were still serving breakfast (until noon) and then at noon they switch to lunch. Staff were friendly and welcoming explaining food choices. Food was delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Bathrooms were clean. Parking on the street or there is a public parking lot a block down the hill by the river. Maysville is a nice downtown area and lots of shops and felt safe. We live about 35 minutes away in Southern Ohio. I'd been lusting after this place on social media for several months. When I saw the chance of my husband being up incredibly early on a Saturday morning, I got ready quickly. I arrived in Maysville figuring my only options for food were going to be Applebees, or if I was truly blessed, Bob Evans (it has a special place in my heart). I was pleasantly surprised to find Parc Cafe on Trip Advisor, and I had to add to its Yelp presence. It took a while for one of the staff to come out from the back, but I wasn't in a hurry, so it didn't bother me at all. They were very friendly, patient, and helpful. I was dining on the company's dime, so I decided to get a soup and sandwich to really treat myself. The potato and leek soup was pretty great, but the cup serving is pretty small (I was satisfied, but some may be disappointed). The only thing I'd say is that it could use a bit more salt or seasoning of some kind. The roast beef sandwich came on fantastic crispy ciabbata, and the beef, while a tiny bit dry, was overall tasty. The horseradish sauce was delicious as well, but could use a little more kick. It comes with some sort of dipping sauce, but it was really oily and kind of tasted like movie theater butter lol. I ended up just dipping my sandwich in the soup and it was pretty great. I will definitely be back this week and would absolutely recommend it to anyone living here or passing through the area. read more

Ample parking options but walkable from another excellent stop down the road (gift shop by the name of Whitney's), and caffeine in its many forms to boot. An excellent place to pop in, grab a beverage and take a seat or snack on their French desserts when it isn't lunchtime. Stopped in on a work trip, and I cannot believe I found this place in Kentucky. The design is super cool and the staff were super nice. But the food was the real star. Seriously so good I wish there was more. I got half chicken salad croissant and half potato leek soup. A small oat peanut butter chocolate chip oat protein bite and a mathcha latte. A gem. Work brought me to Maysville and I ended up audibling to Parc. It's not a traditional restaurant but they do serve lunch specials, salads, and coffee. By the time I discovered this, I was already committed. No problem, the young lady was just writing down the day's specials when I was standing in line. "Oh crap, I don't like chicken salad." Turns out I do. It was made fresh, with fresh bread, and fresh tomatoes. You could order slaw or potato salad as a side. The slaw wasn't bad, but the potato salad looked awesome. You could also get pastries and salad. Coffee was good too. Anyways, it's always nice to find a place that tries so hard and succeeds.
