My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Mac Jones for a few years, and my husband has always…read moreconsidered him a friend. We have always had a good experience, especially having our teeth cleaned. Tia (I think that's her name) has always been so sweet! Never had any problems UNTIL I went August 20th for a filling. I have NEVER had such an experience that I felt so disregarded, not only as a patient, but as a person! Here is EXACTLY what happened: I told Dr. Jones that I had had a bad filling experience in the past and to please be gentle! Everything, procedurely, went just fine, except for the fact that my jaw began to ache so badly that tears were rolling down my face. I knew I couldn't talk during the procedure so I did everything I could to let him know I was hurting. I sighed, I gripped the chair, I was even shaking from the pain. His assistant asked if I was alright, and I said very loudly, UH-UH! He told her he didn't want me to talk. I knew that I could not at that moment as he was working on my filling; however, he NEVER ONCE asked if I was alright, or acknowledged my pain in any way. In fact, when we were done he bragged about how well it went. Later in his emailed response to my complaint he would say that he felt it was the best the procedure had ever gone, and, that, "sometimes the stars just align." I left the office crying and shaking, not from pain anymore, but from hurt and anger that he knew I was hurting and did not seem to care to even acknowledge it. In fact, the kind assistant hugged me before I left because I was so upset. After speaking to my husband, I decided to go back and let them know I would not be returning to their office. The dental assistant told me she felt I should speak to Dr. Jones about how upset I was. I said that would be great and offered to wait patiently as I knew he was probably with other patients already. I was told by Candy that he probably wouldn't have time to talk to me and sure enough she called me up and told me that he was with other patients and was running behind. I offered to stay as long as necessary, and she told me she could only give me his email address, that he would not be speaking with me that day. My husband called the office and politely asked that Dr. Jones call me later, and he did not. My husband then texted Dr. Jones and asked him to please call me when he could, that I was very upset. Dr. Jones told him that he was too busy, but that I could email him. I did so and shared with him how I felt, expecting an offer of compassion and perhaps an apology. I tried to be discreet about the matter in front of other patients, and I gave him multiple opportunities to offer his side of the story. We pretty much had to beg him for a response. He implied in his email that he believed that I was the problem. That maybe I should think about sedation dentistry. I have no problem with the dentist. I have had multiple fillings in my lifetime, most without any issue. I have no problem with how Dr. Jones handled my filling, procedurely. I DO have a problem with him not at least ACKNOWLEDGING my pain and discomfort. I DO have a problem with him not being willing to speak to me after I just had a procedure in his office and was clearly upset. I feel it is my responsibility to make the public aware of his treatment of me as a patient. I also feel it is a responsibility to myself to never let anyone think it is alright to treat me with such disrespect and disregard. I DO however, want to make sure to tell the kind dental assistant (I'm sorry, I don't know your name!), thank you for your care and concern. I also want to thank the nice lady that cleans my teeth. If ya'll ever decide to go somewhere else, let me know!

Horrible experience and will not be going back. Went it and it was odd at 9am I was the only person…read morein the entire building I called weeks ago and they said they were fully booked out and only time I could get in and not a soul was there but me and 4 others who worked there. Got seen and did my X-rays got sat in the chair and seen the dentist. I was there to get my bottom dentures started. First off he comes in and ask if I want to pull my bottom teeth, I said yes pull them all I'd like to just finish what I started, then he proceeded to ask if I had top dentures.... At this point I'm confused so I move on. He told me we would need to get my insurance approval perfect great fine with that. Don't really have a choice, next He goes off and says let's just do the surgery pull all the bottom teeth then heal up then submit the request to approve my dentures. I said absolutely not. Get approved then do the extractions around the time the temporary dentures would be in so I had them to wear. So I could heal and eat. After that he agreed to do that but we would need to do a mold of my bottom teeth. So we go ahead and do so, in the process he brings this liquid mold half way down the hall to the room I was in proceeded to make the worst mess all over my face shirt and pants. I ask if there was anything I could use to clean up the mess he told me no that I needed to use what I could see and not dig through anything. No water to rinse my mouth nothing. After all that I go to talk about process and what it looked like because I know all places are different, receptionist and dentist both said they would numb my bottom jaw and do full extraction while awake. I said HELL NO. absolutely not. You are extracting my entire bottom jaw, wisdom teeth that are impacted coming in sideways and you wanna just "numb my jaw" while fully awake while you yank out everything. Nooooo. The dentist got all rude and started to refuse me a referral to an oral surgeon. I left. That was the worst customer service and dentist I've ever been too. Thankfully I have a few people I know who are dentist and they said oral surgery like I would need for my teeth being numb is extremely dangerous and no recommendation at all for the course of action. I will never be going here again.

If you are a veteran please do not go here. They couldn't care any less. Their VA rep does not…read morereturn any calls or emails. They do not submit any needed documents the VA requests. So disappointing to experience this type of care
