Bought a rv from Howdy RV, paid in full , cash. waited 6 months for a title, they gave us the run around on the phone everyday for weeks. Finally went over there and they kick us out. We paid them cash in full for the RV and they kick us out of thier store. We had to pay an attorney from Corpus Chrsiti to get out title. tooks a month but we had to pay the attoeny $450.00. Saw a Facebook ad and went to check out RV at their Aransas Pass store. Kristen was a great person and showed us just the 1 30' pull behind that we went to see. It was our price point so we left what she said was a fully refundable deposit. They don't have very good office or finance hours for those of us who work full time and need to go by after work. To facilitate this deal and sign all documents my husband and I both had to take time off work for walk through. Before final signing we were both turned off by Eric the manager and ready to walk away, Kristen realized this and softened the mood. Eric added couple items my husband asked about and we took delivery of camper 2 days later after items were installed. That day we also had to leave work early to facilitate the pick up and one last walk through. Technician advised us they put 4 new tires on it and replaced the 2 butane tanks. They also replaced 1 door lock due to broken key. It had rained a lot while we we shopping and after we took delivery, we were very pleased with no leaks on a used unit. My chief complaint is when I've had a question the lack of return texts and calls. That part of their customer service needs improvement. Overall I feel like we got a fair deal on a well maintained unit. read more

Bought a brand new Ultra light. Hot water heater went out 2 days after we set the RV up. I notified the manager at the time and the service manager and had to call back to get an answer, Howdy called a mobile repair guy out and let me pay the bill that has not been paid back. A new hot water heater was sent to repair guy and it also went out within 2 weeks, Howdy did pay for this attempt to fix the problem. I sent an email to the manager for him to refund me the initial payment I made on the call out. I didn't get any response so I called and found out that the manager and service manager was replaced? The new manager voiced his concern but after that would not answer any calls. The new service manager has made it clear that this issue is between myself and Keystone? She made the statement that she has been doing this for a long time and that because my unwillingness to help by going directly to Keystone was unacceptable and when I called BS she made the statement that I cussed at her and hung up! My advice is if you have a choice maybe look elsewhere!!!!!!!! Maybe if you're going to buy one there anyway make them write in writing because their word is BS! read more

We stumbled across this RV dealer / RV park... they were so accommodating! We stayed in the Totem Pole park behind the RV dealership. The laundry room is clean and they made sure it was cool. Small pool is great for kids - in the future it could use some sort of shade around it. We really enjoyed our time there, it was calm and quiet. They were adding new spots before we left to accommodate more. Rates we're reasonable as well. read more

Howdy RV in Mathis had my 5th wheel for a little over three months and I finally took it back with no repairs completed. They damaged it when they moved it. I could not get answers as to when they would make the repairs. Those I dealt with are unfriendly and rude. Several people warned me about them, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and was very sorry I did. I do not recommend Howdy. read more

I rented a space for several months. Had a water leak and wanted to add an electrical cutoff box so inquired about elite electrcal RV repair companies. They sent me their lot crew, none of which were certified on Anything. They blew my inverter in July, then blew me off all of August. South Texas, over 100 degrees every day. When I chose to leave after rent was up they called sheriff on me. Took them to court and won. read more

Great place. Had problems with my trailer and was not staying at their park. Broke a leaf spring on the trailer during non business hours. Couldn't find anyone to replace it except for them. Can't say enough great things about them. Went completely out of their way for someone that wasn't even staying at their rv park. read more

Very impressed with the staff. They were friendly & really helped me find what I was looking for. They have better quality RVs than any else in Corpus Christi or San Antonio. Don't get fooled by other dealers lifetime warranty garbage. I'd rather have extended nationwide warranty so I can have freedom to travel. SHADY Place. After they sell my kid that's 2500 miles from home the wrong part for $280 they refuse to refund him. He give them year make and model when he called and asked them to give to the Lady that runs RV Park across the street because he wouldn't get out of work at a remote location till after they closed. Then he ended up getting out of work early and got to his camper with enough time to spare to verify it was wrong. So he drove across the street to return it at 4:50 and their sign says they close at 5 yet place was locked up tight. So he had to hold till Monday just to walk in and have them refuse to do a refund and kept using excuse after excuse to hide behind.Evidently this business is hard up enough they need the $280 bad enough to care less for a 21 yr old thats staying this distance from home working on wind turbines trying to get his start in the world. SHAME on YOU Howdy Rv.I hope that owner is proud of himself. PS. I was called by Jamie and asked to put a team together for a finance and manager positions for a new store he was opening. I had another guy come down with me only to get there and find out everything was a lie. At 8 AM Jamie was so drunk he could not even hardly stand up and was dressed like he was homeless. The guy I was with said he was leaving it would not work there. I told Jamie I would leave my stuff there ride back with him and get my car and come back. On the 12 hour ride home. Jamie called me with so many different lies and drunk stories. That I eventually told him this would not be the job for me and it would you please overnight my two suitcases to St. Louis which had well over $2500 in suits and personal belongings. He told me for three weeks he overnighted them every day which he never did. After seven months of arguing with him he's told me every day for a week that he overnighted them and it's the mail must've lost it. But he could not produce a tracking number every time I ask for a tracking number he told me he was too busy. I have been lied to by Connie and asked to speak to owner no reply. At 3am i get a drunk text from o Jamie telling me someone that works there stole all my stuff and sorry. I have all the text to prove it read more

Purchased Rv and confection oven over stove needed to be replaced under warranty. After several phone calls finally got replaced. The unit was not installed properly it was not vented properly. My son had contacted the service manager and he stated did not have personal to come out and correct the situation. I contacted the service manager for my son and the service manager stated he was aware of the situation and he was the one that installed it and he was learning as it was the first one he installed. He stated he would be out the following week to correct the problem since he again stated again short handed. Contacted the service manager this am a week after talking to him about correcting the problem he caused and he stated "I told you I would be there if I could but I and short handed and I would have to wait" this individual is extremely rude. He cause a situation because of his lack of knowledge he stated is putting my family in harms way because it is not installed where the exhaust goes out of trailer. I feel this service manager cares only about the delivery of new units. I find this individual very unprofessional and is not representing this company's best interests read more

Consigned our 5th wheel with Howdy ranch back in January...The sales guy was persistent that we bring him all the information we had on our unit. We brought him all the books on the appliances, and every system on our unit in which the sales guy assured us that our factory books would not get lost which also had every receipt for work or repairs that we had ever done or had done to our unit by other repair facilities. Two and a half months time passed without the unit selling and we made a decision that we would go pick our unit back up from the dealer due to Corona virus. Upon arrival to pick our unit up we found that our RV batteries were completely dead. The dealer does not charge the batteries when units are on the lot for sale...OK understood. When we went into our fifth wheel we found that lights had been left on inside our unit. Intentional because we were picking up our unit ? Well that's unknown....Accident..... well that's unknown to. I was told that they cant go out to check every light in every unit each day. Yes I get that but how about a sales guy checking the unit BEFORE leaving that unit to move on to another....especially given that any salesman cant show a unit with dead batteries so in their business they would need to make sure all the lights are off to have battery power to operate slides and other components in the unit! To me that's a given. But not to them. Our books, receipts and repair notes were missing and were NOT IN OUR UNIT as we were told they would be! I asked for them to look for our binder with our books in it which also showed proof of our repairs we had indeed paid for over the years since our unit was new .....That was 3/21/2020 ....I called to ask to speak with the owner on almost daily during the month of April of which they stated they were closed and ask to have my phone calls returned by the owner. As of 6/9/2020 I have never gotten that call yet! What does that tell you? After months of waiting and being patience I ask them to replace my lost books on my appliances and waited yet another month only to have the sales guy show me a clause in their sales agreement that states that they are not responsible for lost books or information. The bottom line is that they did not even try and make up for losing our valuable information and stated that I was the one whom was sour about the whole situation. YOU DECIDE!
