Or get it delivered. there was a place to setup for the party covered with some shade. Bring some athletic shoes. you will be on sand, dirt etc. And be sure to use your GPS or you will miss it.

It was clean kitchen well stocked. Ac worked great. Beds and pull out couch were comfortable. Cute chicken coop in the back. Patio furniture was nice. Views great. Hot tub worked well. We went across the street for riding lessons for the girls. Door dash and instacart work here which was nice. Overral worth it and we would come back. Great for families and adult get a ways. I could see this being great for a wedding or Bachelorette get a way.

I especially appreciated what seemed like local art being used throughout the entire house to tastefully decorate -- without going overboard with clutter. That was well done. But, netting out at almost $800/night increases expectations and so it probably deserves more like 3 or 3-1/2 stars. It was a 3 bedroom home and was ok -- nothing fancy or high-end. So maybe the cost was based on the size? Importantly, what we really believed we were paying extra for that would have been worth the money was the "farm stay" aspect. It may have been a house on a farm property, but it was not a "farm stay experience." The only thing that came close were the animals, but their enclosures were small, cramped, on the side of the road (which was steep and hard to walk on), and the animals did not look healthy or well taken care of. The alpaca's fur was matted up and many of the chickens had bald spots on their backs, potentially due to overcrowding, rooster overbreeding, or aggressively going after each other in such a small space for so many hens (and hopefully not from parasites). It was a side show vs. a real farm experience. Back to the house, another attraction in the listing was the hot tub -- but it had a really horrible smell. The towels we used to dry off with kept the smell too. We used it on the first day, but not afterward. It's a shame. If the hot tub issue were fixed, the property is nice enough, but I do believe it is mis-marketed. It'd probably be very appealing for a bigger group who is visiting the Temecula wine country scene, but who doesn't want to be in the middle of the fray and, instead, wants a quieter location that feels off the beaten path. It should not be marketed as a "farm stay." And the poor animals should definitely go, especially as they feel like such an after thought on the property anyhow.

This event happened about three years ago but I thought I would share my experience. I have quite a…read morebit of experience riding horses, but I hadn't ridden in a while so I decided to go there for a lesson. At the beginning of the lesson the horse they gave me to ride was taken to the round pen to exercise out some of his energy, which I thought was kind of odd. Then I was told to get on the horse. As soon as I swung my leg over the saddle to mount the horse, he started bucking. I ended up behind the saddle sitting on the horse's rump struggling to stay seated but then finally went flying off. I was really surprised that I was given a horse like that because this was the first time I had ever been there. I tried to get on again and the horse tried to buck again. Someone grabbed his head and I was finally able to get on the horse. After that he was fine but I had some massive bruises the next day. I think Green Acres needs to have better trained horses.

You'll then see signs and two purple flags and a Porta potty in the parking lot. Geisbauer road is like walking on beach sand. Hours: 8am-12noon daily 6pm-8pm sunset picking Fri and Sat Parking: You see the purple flags, park and walk in. They didn't have designated handicap parking but they do have closer parking if you drive past the flags and parallel park along the fence. We were the first at 8am to beat the heat. Cost: $10 pint $20 quart Cash or Credit Tips: -Wear a hat -Sunblock -Water -Wear close toed shoes -Watch out for fire ants! One crawled up my boots and bite my leg. -We brought gloves to avoid the berry juice -We shared 1 quart size -Bring a cooler if you have a long drive -You may sample 1 or 2 while picking -An area with picnic tables in the shade -Bring step stool if you want the kiddos to reach the higher branches I actually found blueberry picking to be more satisfying than blackberries. At least with blueberries, they were ripe and you look for the largest one. Blackberries are different because you only pick the black ones and ignore the red ones. Takes more effort to look for ripe ones that are decent in size to fill up our bucket. You'll have to look high and low. It can also get messy. When I paid, I asked for tips. He said he saw ripe ones on the left. So we went straight there and glad we did because other aisles were either red or empty. It's great for first time experience but I don't see us coming back next year unless there are more activities like food trucks, boutique vendors, blackberry snacks. I appreciate them opening the farm to the public but the heat seems to affect the berries and need more water and maintenance. Also I think it's towards end of July so it was a bit run down as more people attend.
