We stumbled across this local gem when a friend gave us a heads up on a social distancing "feed the horses" drive-by event. What a fun thing to do as the horses popped their heads into the car to get a carrot. Since then, our 7 year old has started riding lessons and thoroughly enjoys the volunteers there (especially Becca) and the horsemanship class was really fun as well. We started with a free 30 minute lesson, signed up for weekly lessons, and now looking into booking her birthday party there as well. She totally loves this horse heaven and asks every day when she can return, we definitely think she has found her calling. Thank you, Blossom Hill for providing our community with a fun outdoor activity during these hard times, it really gives the kiddos something to look forward to!

My daughter has been taking lessons here for about 2 years. She loves it and it is the highlight of her week. I love that they offer horsemanship classes each week as well as the lesson. I cant wait for my daughter to be old enough to help on Saturdays with the ranch hand class. They offer opportunities for in house horse shows and also to travel to horse shows when the kids are ready for it.

This is butters, he's my favorite and so fun to ride!

My son had a blast at the horse camp! They also worked with us in the price because he would be missing one day.

Candace and her team of trainers are amazing! This is a great place for young riders and adults as well to learn to ride.

Ask the Community - Blossom Hill Ranch

How young can children be to come get acquainted with the horses? I have a toddler and would love for her to at least learn to be around them until she's old enough to take lessons.

My 2yr old has been taking lessons for almost 7 months. She'll be three in July. I don't know their exact rules but reach out to them, they are great with kids.

The instructor, Candice is so patient with our little girl and it takes a lot of patience to teach a toddler.

He has grown so much during his time here--not only developmentally, but socially as well. Right now he's in TK, and I absolutely adore Ms. Lena and Ms. Jenn. They have taught Isaiah more than I could have ever imagined. His writing, language, and hand-eye coordination have improved immensely. But beyond that, they truly care for these kids. My son constantly raves about his teachers. I also want to give credit where credit is absolutely due. Thank you so much to Ms. Sara, Ms. Bree, and Ms. Mal for being such a big part of my son's journey at Kiddie Academy. You all helped make his school days easier and have been such a positive influence during the year he's been there. And a very special shoutout to Isaiah's very first teacher, Ms. Omoto. When you see your child run up to a teacher just to give them a hug, you know they truly care about your child. Thank you for paving the way and for always being so kind to my son. All in all, I highly recommend this school. I'm very sad to say we are leaving Kiddie Academy because we're moving. If circumstances were different--or if I could just take the Murrieta Kiddie Academy crew with us--there would be zero hesitation in staying. We love you all so much! - Marissa

My daughter struggled so much there, which made me extremely anxious about trying a new daycare. From day one at Kiddie Academy, all of that anxiety disappeared. Every single staff member is warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Now, every morning my daughter literally runs to the door and is so excited to see the staff.. it speaks volumes. The difference in her has been incredible and her overall behavior has improved, and she's even starting to say words now! They do lots of activities and crafts with the kids, and I thought the Christmas performance was so sweet! I also really appreciate the security measures. The door being locked and requiring a password to enter gives me so much peace of mind as a parent. I love receiving photos throughout the day through the app, and another huge plus is that many of the teachers are moms themselves- they truly get it. The empathy, patience, and understanding they show is unmatched. As a mom of two, I can only imagine how challenging it is to care for so many little ones, yet they do it with so much love and professionalism. Thank you, Kiddie Academy, for taking such amazing care of my daughter and giving me the ability to go to work without stress or worry about her day. I truly appreciate every single one of you and all that you do. I would highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Murrieta!

From the very beginning, the staff was welcoming, patient, and absolutely wonderful with all of our girls. They put together a two-hour class that was incredibly well organized and structured while still keeping the girls engaged and having fun the entire time. They talked with them about anti-bullying, personal safety, confidence, awareness, and different ways they can protect themselves if they ever feel unsafe. The girls also learned basic martial arts skills, including how to properly kick and strike, and one of their favorite parts was getting the chance to break boards! I was so impressed with how much they were able to teach the girls while making everything age-appropriate, encouraging, and fun. Every girl walked away feeling proud of herself and more confident. We are definitely interested in checking out more of what Final Strike Martial Arts has to offer and would highly recommend them to any family looking for a martial arts program for their child. Thank you so much for giving our troop such a memorable experience!

We have a pool at home, so learning water safety was a huge priority for our family. Looking back, I only wish we had started even sooner. The progress he has made in just a couple of months has been incredible. He can float better than most adults I know, and he's already learned how to roll over onto his back and float if he falls into the water. Watching him develop these lifesaving skills has given us so much more confidence around the pool. Like many toddlers, he still cries during some lessons and reaches for me, especially when he's learning a new skill. But I've come to realize that's because he's being challenged, and growth isn't always comfortable. Once he mastered floating, he actually stopped crying for several lessons. Now that he's working on a new skill, the tears have returned a bit which is completely normal. Kris is patient, encouraging, and always makes sure he is safe while helping him build confidence. I truly appreciate how focused the program is on real water safety, not just having fun in the pool. Seeing what my son is capable of at only 18 months old has been amazing. I would highly recommend these lessons to any parent, especially if you have a pool or spend time around water. It's one of the best investments we've made for our son's safety.

PLEASE PLEASE research for yourself whether ISR is right for you and your child. (After my own research and consultation with numerous other swim experts- literally a drowning expert witness- it is NOT as safe as FVSA or other ISR experts will claim it is). Personally-- it was not for me or my child. It was traumatic for her, caused MORE fear of the water than she originally had, and she took in too much water and puked during 3 separate lessons and Kris brushed it off as normal (and I soon was assured by NUMEROUS swim coaches and medical professionals that it is NOT). When I expressed concerns, I DO appreciate that Kris seemed receptive, however, her teaching style is just not compatible with how I want my daughter handled. I wish this were different because I do think Kris is a passionate, very good person and maybe this teaching style works for some, and potentially for older children. But if you are starting with a child under 3, please beware that it is difficult to watch and in MY opinion after a LOT of research, does not provide the long term safety alleged by ISR advocates.

We have visited multiple times in the past without any issues, except the fact that they were closing early, but this time, we found the experience less than satisfactory. Your phone line indicates that you are open until 7 PM from Tuesday to Saturday and until 5:30 PM on Sundays. Online it says till 5:30pm. However, when I called to confirm your hours prior to our visit, no one answered. I arrived at 4:32 PM on my daughter's birthday, the day she had been eagerly looking forward to painting. To our dismay, we were informed that we could not paint, even though there was still an hour before closing time. We had planned to make bracelets, have a hat made, and enjoy the painting experience together. I understand that circumstances can vary, but it was disheartening to be turned away in such a manner, especially on a special occasion. She could have offered to let her paint for only 30 mins or whatever would allow her to close on time. She just seemed like she didn't want us there because she was on a time crunch to leave. Mind you the business is completely empty so you would think you'd want to make money. I believe it would be beneficial to ensure that your hours are accurately reflected on your phone line and to allow customers to enjoy their time until closing. We really loved this place but are definitely turned off now.
