We honestly could not be happier! Our 20+ year old pool was ragged, needing repairs and a facelift. Dependable Pools came to our rescue with a beautiful makeover! We had used another pool renovation company 10 years ago, but when we ran into issues, she would not warranty any work that was done, telling us she was just helping us contract the work. She left us feeling bullied and abandoned. The Dependable Pools Crew came in, offered us warranty included on their work, tore out our old coping, tile, and pool surface, transformed our backyard pool area into a beautiful space that we love so much! We even had them coat our pool deck to manage heat, and cover our ugly, old concrete. It's amazing! Our family and dogs are so much happier not to have burning feet while walking on the pool deck. The crews that worked at our home are some of the best in the business and the finished product is 5 star all the way. We also have Dependable Pool service come out to service our pool each week which has made life much easier. There are a lot of choices out there for pool renovation, but you will not find a more honest, trustworthy, professional, experienced and DEPENDABLE company to work with. This company is the worst. They have serviced my pool for over a year now and over a years time at…read moreleast 15 to 20 times I have had to call them and tell them that their technician is not cleaning my pool. They might skim the leaves off the top. They almost never empty my vacuum bag. They might empty one of my skim baskets. They almost never brushed my pool. I can guarantee you they are not checking my equipment. I tried many times to get the owner to acknowledge and correct the problem. However, it continued. They would offer to send back the technician to complete the job at which time I had already completed it myself or the technician did come back and still did not complete the job. Their technicians are extremely lazy. I have caught them on my camera many times sitting on my lounger on their cell phones and just not doing the work. I gave it a two stars because there were a few times that I did receive a complete 100% job of them doing everything they stated that they do. They take zero ownership and make zero compensation at the homeowners expense. In some, this is thievery at its best. Shame on people.

We also had a conversation via text. I thought all was confirmed until I got a call just now asking to remove us from the schedule. I said I thought all was confirmed especially because a representative had already came to the property and explained what needed to be fixed. They seemed really excited to get us off the schedule - I guess they don't want our business. The person I spoke with was super unprofessional and was in a rush. I will have to follow-up with our realtor and share our experience with them and urge them to not recommend them to future clients. Terrible experience.

Also ran over the GAS LINE with the big machinery and had to have the gas company come out. Then the big digging machine broke and they wanted us to pay to rent one for them. Never got a contract but kept promising one and conveniently kept forgetting it. Promised things but could not deliver. They were supposed to landscape and hard scape but could not come up with a plan so they left a muddy mess. Promised a fire pit, never got one.

I am single and this is my first pool; so, I had to trust him for installing all new equipment including a heater. There was a "bump" along the way which has encouraged me to continue into a year contract with him because of how he handled a misunderstanding in our communications. Even the plumber installing gas lines for the heater told me that he was surprised how responsive Chris had been with our communications after I had paid him in full. I am very pleased with Ken, the man that comes weekly, and all the employees of Lazy Day Pool that I have spoken with including his mother-n-law who answers the main number. I have great confidence that if there is any problem in the future that Chris will "do the right thing" and correct whatever it may be. Everyone has been very professional, respectful and extremely nice. I am grateful for their excellent service of my pool.

Despite multiple calls and emails, they were largely unresponsive. When we finally reached them, they agreed to a monthly maintenance plan. However, beyond superficial cleaning, they failed to resolve major issues. The pool loses water, makes strange noises, and the hot tub empties itself. They sent a cleaner who had no clue how to diagnose or explain the issue. On my second call, a manager named John promised a resolution but only offered vague updates. He also addressed me inappropriately, calling me "brother," then abruptly ended the call. In summary, YammyPool has ignored critical issues, provided no solutions, and continues to charge us while leaving the system malfunctioning. We expect a prompt, professional resolution or we will escalate further.
