We absolutely love Hoy's Chinese food! The food is fresh, and arrives to the table so quickly! The staff are friendly and very responsive. We found the portions huge, which was fine by us; we always love leftovers! Change of ownership I'm guessing a few years now. At first was very good but just picked up an order now and very disappointed. Cantonese chow mein 2 small shrimp, 3 small slivers of chicken, 2 pieces of pork, mostly celery and barely any sauce on noodles which filled 3/4 of container. Chicken fried rice had 3 small bits of chicken on top and a few peas lol. $35. So long Hoys you lost a customer. If that's what your looking for than this is the place for you. read more

Best in town but they sure dont add much to fried rice. Might as well stick to steamed rice. Love the general tao dish flavour.

New restaurant opened with experience behind it and it shows. The new interior is comfortable and still good for families and groups. The General Tao's Chicken was good, although could have been a bit spicier. When I arrived the restaurant was full and it did take a few minutes for someone to see if I was looking to dine in or there for take out. Although it was full the wait staff did not seem to be flustered at all. My server was prompt and really friendly. She checked on me several times and when she was asked for hot sauce, it was delivered quickly. For a new restaurant I was impressed and will definitely be back again. read more

Very poor service when ordering at the counter, and I mean extremely poor! You ask a question and the reply is I'm not sure. Guess the thought never occurred to perhaps inquire w/the kitchen and pass info on to customer. Alrighty then. Also, prices are over-inflated for the subpar quality of the food, which I have tasted on a previous visit. High prices coupled with unhelpful, non-friendly staff and not-great food equals no returning to this establishment. read more

I have got take out from Hoys many times. From phoning in the order to picking it up has always been a good experience. Fast and friendly service. Oh and the food, the way I rate is how it compares to the Mandarin. I would give it a 10 for quality and freshness and an 8 for variety. ( we're talking the Mandarin here) This is our go to restaurant for Chinese food. Highly recommend people to try it. read more

We have been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally did tonight. Right from the start the servers were super nice and friendly and sat us down right away. Food came out within 10 minutes all fresh and hot. We had the speciality combo for 2 with the General Taos chicken and it was all really good, not covered in grease or batter either like most other places. Highly recommend this place for good food and big portion sizes for a reasonable price! read more

Got take-out food from Hoys last night and it was great!!! It was very good food and I have no complaints!! I love what they have done with the decor in the restaurant and it looks very nice! Very happy with the take out order my family enjoyed just the other evening! There were big shoes to fill once Jims had closed.. happy to report food is very tasty. . Prices reasonable. . As for dinning in .. looking forward to the experience :) read more

Excellent service and food! Enjoyed the lemon chicken (best we've ever had) and the sweet and sour ribs. Great flavour and the portions were large with decent prices. Must have really improved from reading the old reviews on this site. Definitely will be eating there again. read more

Same food as Jims was with higher prices. Much higher than all of the others in the area. Wait staff seemed friendly enough but not so professional! Next time I do dinner with co-workers it will be somewhere else! read more

Expensive, Won Ton not cooked ~ doughy, Soo Guy not cooked ~ doughy, Ribs ~ tough, Chicken Fried Rice.....bleh. Very disappointing.
