This bar was awesome!! It was within walking distance of condado beach and la concha resort. The drinks were refreshing and potent although a little pricey due to their location. The bartender chris was supper attentive and hands on. He recommended some good places to go and also made us some delicious drinks. The ambience was nice, some soft music playing on the background and dimmed lights.

This in an awesome cocktail bar that deserves a stop if you enjoy excellent, well balanced cocktails. These mixologists really know what they're doing. Good service and even better cocktails. They make also classic ones like the Negroni which is one of the best ones I've had. I also wasn't sure what to order so the bartender asked what I liked and crafted me two amazing drinks. The vibe is also really really cool. Worth a stop here. Went to dinner at Casita Miramar afterwards so a good place to stop before or after.

My family and I came here late night after a long day of traveling and it was a great start to our Puerto Rico trip! All of our drinks were delicious, our server was super sweet, and the food just hit the spot! Even the inside of the restaurant gave very tropical vibes which was super nice.

Great experience here , as happy hour connoisseur in Chicago why not find a happy hour on the Caribbean island that's fun and upbeat but makes delicious cocktails with friendly servers. Really good drinks and ladies get a free champagne between 4-6! Not sure with a without purchase . 20% all food and drinks between 4-6! I ordered the daiquiri which is subtle not strong smooth and probably the best I've ever had. I was allowed to try the havanna Cuban rum and just tip bc it is not allowed to be sold in the USA. Next to the Condado beach and a cute spot with a nice retail shop next door. Sit at the bar where you can watch all the drinks getting made! .The owner Tracy was very kind and knowledgeable . He treated everyone with genuineness and the feeling of an old friend coming in or neighborhood friends . Very very cute spot !

We went here last night around 8:30 pm on a Monday because the reviews were so Amazing. It was really cute inside. There were two tables left and we sat down and it took About 20 minutes to get a cocktail. It was delicious. I noticed no one was eating or being served food. We ordered two apps and 45 minutes later I noticed no one getting food still and I realized we were going to be here a whole. So at 9:30 I asked about it and they said everyone still needs to be served and they are backed up. So we grabbed our check for the drinks and left. I had a feeling our food would be at least another 45-hour and we just couldn't wait that long. Perhaps there was an issue with staffing in the kitchen?

TL;DR: If you love rum, real cocktails, and food that actually matters, KANE is your spot. No gimmicks, no tourist-trap nonsense--just top-tier drinks, damn good eats, and locals who treat you like an insider. If you're drinking anywhere in Old San Juan, make it KANE. This isn't some gimmicky tourist trap slinging neon-colored sugar bombs--this is the real deal. A place that actually respects rum, treats cocktails like an art form, and feeds you food that doesn't just "pair well" but demands your full attention. First up, the chicken sliders--but calling them that feels like an insult. These are longaniza chicken sausages, house-made, spicy, juicy, and packed into soft, buttery buns with just the right portion. Not your average bar bite, but then again, KANE isn't your average bar. The swordfish ceviche? Pure balance. Bright citrus, silky coconut milk (somehow dairy-free and richer for it), and just the lightest amount amount of heat. This isn't some afterthought ceviche thrown on the menu to appease pescatarians--it's a statement dish, fresh and vibrant, like the ocean just handed it over personally. Now, the cocktails. You could close your eyes, point at the menu, and land on something brilliant. The mojito is textbook-perfect but somehow better. The house rum Old Fashioned is deep, complex, and makes bourbon look like an amateur. The Rongo (guava and mezcal)? A smoky, tropical slap in the face--in the best way. And the house espresso rum martini? If every espresso martini tasted like this, people wouldn't roll their eyes when you ordered one. (Speaking of which the bartender never batted an eye or skipped a beat while knocking out non-stop top tier cocktails and shots for a large party that was there too) But what makes KANE really work--beyond the food, beyond the drinks--is the people. Tracy, the GM maybe owner? runs this place like a seasoned pro who actually gives a damn. He doesn't just recommend spots in San Juan; he practically curates your entire night. Marisol, our server, was equally dialed in--friendly, knowledgeable, and throwing out the kind of local recommendations you'd only get from someone who lives the city, not just works in it. Bottom line? KANE is the kind of spot you wish existed in every city but are secretly glad it doesn't--because it stays special that way.

This place is a must if you are in the Condado area! We went back another time because the drinks and food were so delicious. I have never had a rum fashioned before and it was amazing! The staff is very friendly and service was on point. Try the pork bao buns and the sliders. The inside is nicely decorated and there is also outdoor seating. It is in the heart of Condado and within walking distance of La Concha. Great place. We will be back!

Super cute cocktail bar. The decor was very upscale and cute. Perfect date spot. We didn't try any of the food but the drinks were good! My only disappointment was the service. It was so.slow. We had to track down our server, twice just to pay as we had finished our drinks 30 minutes prior without being checked on. Multiple other tables had to go up to the bar or the server directly to get what they needed. They need more staff otherwise it was great.

Always a great experience when we come here. The drinks are made with precision and expertise. The first time we were here, the owner made us feel welcome and even introduced us to his new pup who we got to see again this trip. Such a great place to stop if you're in Condado.

Best Piña Colada OF MY LIFE! I needed a second shot in it, but the flavor was PHENOMENAL!

We visited Kane Rum Bar in July and it was hands down one of the best parts of our trip. My fiancée and I had our joint bachelorette trip along with 18 of our friends and we all couldn't have asked for a better time. Tracy and his team were ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! We had a little mix up with the date we told them but he welcomed us with open arms and provided us with an experience we'll never forget. We truly can't thank them all enough for allowing us in. They were so knowledgeable about the rums we were tasting and you could tell they thoroughly love and enjoy what they do. We can't wait to go back and visit them next time we're there!

AMBIANCE You're in the city so it's an eventful area. There's street parking and nearby lots but your best to carpool or rideshare. As for the vibes, I'm told in the daytime it's a local marketplace that's filled with vendors and other fresh produce booths. It's pretty chill with a nice neighborhood feel. As for the evening, this is where to turn up and get a pulse of Puerto Rico parties. EXPERIENCE Go to your bar, pick your vibe from community, club excessive, lounge feel, live music or etc. Drink choices rangeThey have it here! Plenty of photo op spots and good energy. I was here peak of the #DTMF era so it was magical to see people come together with a speaker and a cowbell. A local put into perspective how this was way better than paying for an expensive hotel party. It was truly a 1 of 1 experience. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. It doesn't get any better. There's a reason why this space is dropped in lyrics and people's recommendations because this is the heart of the people. So don't be shy! Grab a drink, walk around, catch a dance, and be safe! TIPS: * Don't just settle for one spot. Be sure to explore around to experience the entire Santurce experience!
