Terrible Experience with OB Care I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant and have had a horrible experience with Sun River Healthcare in Poughkeepsie. I went in to see my OB about the pain I've been having, and instead of taking my concerns seriously, she kept trying to dismiss me and send me to the ER -- only for the ER to tell me I needed to follow up with my OB. I was then scheduled to see another OB, Katherine Bishop, and she was by far the worst doctor l've ever encountered. She completely dismissed my pain and concerns. While 1 was explaining why I needed to be taken out of work due to the pain and my inability to perform my job safely, she literally walked out of the room and never came back. This was an extremely unprofessional and uncaring experience. I would not recommend this facility to any pregnant woman seeking prenatal care - they lack compassion, communication, and basic respect for their patients. read more

Terrible terrible terrible can never contact them they send you to customer service and have someone call you back at a random time the next day so if you miss the call you're unable to get in contact with the doctors office. I have been coming here for about 6 years now. Not for solely urgent care use. My PCP and OB/Gyn are here and I always see them with scheduled appointments. But one thing I have noticed is post pandemic lockdown, this place has gone down the tubes even more!! How does a place rightfully make patients wait well over an hour (in a waiting area!!) to then finally be brought into a room to wait another 30/45 mins for the doctor to come in. In what insane planet do ANY of you employed at these facilities think this is ok!!!???!!! Get your act together! If more doctors are needed then get them, if more nurses/staff are needed then get them! If a doctor is overbooked, THEN STOP adding more patients into that schedule! There are plenty of ways to adjust and still do right by the patient in unprecedented times. Because this "oh well" attitude that your staff has to patients waiting this long and being treated like this is completely unprofessional and inexcusable as someone who herself comes from the Healthcare industry. FYI people who work full time need to be seen by their doctors also. So imagine one of your own staff members, goes to one of their doctors' for a scheduled appt and be out for over 3 hours because their doctors office can't get their sh*t together. How upset and frustrated would you be as a coworker! That is the exact bs that happens to me when I try to go back to work after my appts at Sun River Health. I wish I could have given a negative cause 1000 review. This place is Joke. I've heard numerous negative feedback from my friend about this place. As a nurse that has worked in ObGYN, I was appalled by things I heard. First of all, working in OB was no joke, since 2 lives are in your care. The fact that they gave a pregnant woman Expired vitamins is appalling. Who knows the negative impact it will have on her and her baby. It's extremely reckless to hear about such a situation. They never knew her history and kept asking the same questions each visit. As a nurse, I know for a fact this abnormal. The midwives usually are aware of each individual needs prior to each visit. This is extremely reckless care, especially when it pertains to mother and baby. The doctor never felt the need to divulge information that was of dire need. My friend always had to ask only to feel like an imbecile based on the Attitude and answers provided. This is not how to treat any human, especially an expecting mother. I am appalled by the behavior displayed by the staff. They need to do better. The exciting journey each woman partakes has been ruined but this terrible experience read more

My interactions at this facility was 10/10 ....but a Dr. Called me asking to give her a call back she left no extension number. When i called they said they would pass it on to the back office. Its hard to believe that they have no idea the extension numbers for anyone to get ahold of a dr directly!! And the music when you are on hold makes you want to scream !! read more

Dr.Gene or Dr. Jeane is a terrible doctor and I feel like very much neglected . I had a incision and had packing done and she didnt even try to give me anything for numbing after requesting multiple times in tears,crying on the table and left the door open after leaving when I needed to get changed not even known to me until the nurse closed the door. Did not care for my pain or privacy. I will say the nurse I had was amazing and convinced the doctor to give me a numbing agent for the rest of the process. The other doctor I had was amazing but please beware of Dr. Gene or spelled Jeane she does not care and in my personal experience should be reprimanded in some way for negligence. read more

This is hands down the VERY best Urgent Care center I have ever been to. Privacy is respected from the time you walk in through the time you leave. Asim, the Xray Tech, who helped me get set up was so thorough and thoughtful. He is a gem and I am so glad he is part of that team. There are not enough words to describe the quality of care I received from Dr. Bosco. I wish he was my private Dr, he is just SO GREAT at what he does. I had a really BAD cut where nerves were severed and I knew the gauze/duct tape method I used to stop the bleeding was going to be painful coming off. He was so patient, funny, engaging, and was extra sensitive that I KNEW this was going to hurt. My finger was infected and he carefully explained why no stitches could be given. (I'd waited too long to get it treated.) It now has to heal on 'its own', but he used more logical, easy to understand medical terms. I have been doing exactly what he instructed and my finger is healing. It is ugly and he told me I will have a scar, so there goes my hand modelling career (:-)). Thing is, I was petrified when I went into this facility and I left feeling so much BETTER, especially mentally, which is so important. He sent my script to CVS right away, I picked up, went home and took a nap feeling like there are some caring folks at these places-- Asim and Dr. Bosco RULE!! thank you very much. Zero stars if I could!!!! This place is a joke. I came from over the bridge to this place due to me getting blood clots and being pregnant I was extremely high risk. I started to go there at 6 months because my doctor referred me there. Now it's a hr and a half drive for me one way to get there. My first appointment no one could find my medical charts so I went home not seeing anyone jus sat for a hr in the waiting room. I had dr tai most of the time. She was horrible. While at a appointment with her she put the baby monitor on me and noticed I had a lik vitamin patch in my stomach, she asked what is was and I told her she jus rolled her eyes made a noise and asked if I had a patch for stretch marks. I guess she was referring to my stomach by this was my 4th child. Very unprofessional and made me feel some type of way. They never answer phones at all always rescheduling my appointments bc dr aren't there. I told them I wanted my tubes tied the whole time every time I came in I had to go over my medical history with each new dr each week nobody knew what was going on. Well I was in the operating room for my c section and the hospital staff asked if I was getting my tubes tied I said yes then dr tai said no I'm not bc I never signed a paper stating I wanted to. Which no one ever gave me at HRHCare. She also made sure to say that she wasn't going to do it bc she wanted to make sure she got paid. As I'm laying there nervous having my c section worried about blood clots dr tai and some other nurse are over me and my husband talking about parking and what they wanted for lunch. Like really? NOT ONCE DID I EVER GET BLOOD WORK DONE FROM THERE AND DR TAI PRESCRIBED ME BLOOD THINNING INJECTIONS WITHOUT ANY BLOOD WORK TO TELL WHAT MY LEVELS WERE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE HERE AND ADDED SO MUCH STRESS TO MY ALREADY HIGH RISK PREGNANCY. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOU AND YOUR CHILDS LIFE. THEY MAKE HUGE MISTAKES OVER AND OVER. ARE RACIST INCOMPETENT FOOLS AND JUS OUT RIGHT RUDE. read more
