I saw a promotion on Instagram for the AquaPure facial…read more Before purchasing the deal, I emailed them to ask if it's a suitable treatment if you have active acne. They were quick to reply and assured me that it was. All communication afterward was very prompt and professional. The day of the treatment, I was asked to fill out standard forms. Then I was lead to the treatment room. The place is very clean and has the typical medical aesthetic clinic vibe. Dana was my esthetician and she was great. I came in with lots of hormonal acne and was very self conscious. However she made me feel comfortable and like any other client. We first did a skin analysis to see the current state of my skin. Dana then walked me through the different points about my skin. Then we did the treatment, which consisted of three steps. She walked me through each one, explaining the benefits of them. She also did extractions. She ended with a face massage, which was very nice and relaxing! I was expecting my face to be more red from all the extractions, but they actually seemed okay and were flatter than when I came. This is probably because of the last cooling step of the AquaPure facial. I've tried quite a few places for facial, and know pretty quickly if it will work with my skin. This one definitely does. They also guarantee results (have to read the details and disclaimers on the form). Overall, I had a really good experience and can't wait to try the other treatments like the chemical peel.

Normally, I don't like to post poor reviews but I would like my recent experience over the past year to warn people if you're considering coming here. 1. It feels like they treat you differently and judge you once they realize they can't get more money out of you. 2. Everytime I came in for a session they were trying to upsell me something. It made me extremely uncomfortable...and made me wonder if they were treating me differently because I wasn't willing to put more money in. I was worried if I kept saying no, it might negatively affect my results. I started dreading coming into my appointments. 3. 4. I've been here over a year, mostly because I got a package and I felt like I had to follow through with it. Initially I was really excited as laser hair removal was always my dream and my biggest insecurity and I went in trusting the "professionals". I should've done more of my own research because I realized in retrospect they were making me come in way more frequently than I personally needed, essentially wasting sessions. As a healthcare worker myself, I am a HUGE proponent of informed decision making which I believe this clinic is LACKING. Another example, no one warned about potential side effects such as your hair coming back THICKER and LONGER. Guess they want you to pay for more sessions ... they also only ended up using the highest setting for me after my 13th ish session. I don't understand why this setting was not used earlier as I kept coming in saying the hair was coming back, or suggested I stopped and went with other methods. 5. When I was sold a package, I was transparent about my potential inability to finish it because I was moving and I was told "we could work it out" at the end. We talked about a refund or use additional sessions in alternate parts of the body. When the time came, they said they could refund me. I waited weeks and FINALLY when they sent the refund invoice, there was a $250+tax cancellation policy that I was not aware of. With my refund and the $250 fee, i ultimately OWED the clinic money. If that's the case any person logically would go for my other option. I called to discuss my options and the one person that picked up told me, "I don't know what to tell you ... we have your signature". I have been trying all week to get in contact with the director but I kept getting the excuse that she's not in the office. Even if a policy is written on paper, customers should not be misled from the beginning prior to purchase. Any store you go to tells you in person before purchase if something is final sale, exchange only, etc ... regardless I wanted to have a discussion about options with them but despite my efforts have not heard back. 6. The packages seem like a good deal in the moment but are NOT worth the headache and the contingencies that come with it (even if it's MEDICALLY NECESSARY, they charge a fee to discontinue). beware of the fine print. 7. 8. It's just really sad to know that there are places that are taking advantage of peoples insecurities and in some cases, desperation for their own profit. I wouldnt have posted this if agreements were upheld and there was transparency and communication on their end. However this was not the case, leading to this review. I was looking forward to purchasing laser since I was a child and I'm disappointed to say this experience has made me extremely paranoid about any aesthetic service.

She kept asking me if the pressure was ok and it was. About the Service: Microdermabrasion feels like they are scraping your face. The technician told me it takes off a layer of skin to make you look younger after the treatment. I was surprised to learn that she would not be doing any extractions. Last time I had a facial the technician showed me all of the stuff That came out of my face but they didn't do that here. I'm not sure I would redo the treatment at this location but I was nice to have some TLC. I also thought I'd get a facial massage but they didn't do that either. Would I Return? Probably not but possibly if the price was right.

I paid almost $1,600 for Dermamelan treatment on my back, chest, and stomach. I had no allergic reaction during the in‑clinic portion and confirmed my at‑home instructions carefully. A week later, my skin became painful, raw, and the top layer was visibly peeling. I sent photos to the clinic and was told this was "normal" and to continue my post care. It wasn't. My skin barrier was broken, and following their advice meant applying an acid product to open wounds. Within two days, I developed severe chemical burns across my back, chest, and neck. My skin is now scarred and significantly worse than before I ever contacted Bellair. It didn't end there. My in‑person assessment with Dr. Pugen was switched to virtual while I was already on my way, making it useless. As I cried through the appointment, he suggested laser treatment even though both my dermatologist and Bellair's own coordinator said it would be high‑risk for my skin type. Two follow‑up calls were scheduled; nobody called me either time and I had to call the clinic to make the appointments happen. The clinic also took very personal "before" photos of my bare chest and back, then later claimed they COULDN'T FIND THEM and they were never uploaded due to "wifi issues." They use iPads with internal storage, so this makes no sense. The violation of patient privacy is truly baffling. When I requested a refund from the director, Oscar Amar, he dragged it out for 19 days, insisted they "did nothing wrong," and eventually offered a partial refund of no specified amount. After everything, it was like a slap in the face. What happened to me here was NOT OKAY. Period. It was dangerous, negligent, and deeply unethical. Proceed with extreme caution. I have gone to many salons in the city in my four years living here. I will have to say this salon…read morehad the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Considering my experience was over 5 months ago and I am still frustrated when I think of it, that means a lot!!!! Ms. Cruz did my nails and they turned out terrible!! She did not properly cut the cuticles and she rushed through the whole thing. When I brought up the cuticles to her, she became defencive. Considering I get a manicure every 2 weeks, my nails looked worse coming out of the salon then going in! Odd, eh?? I was leaving on vacation so I needed it done, but Ms. Cruz said she did not have time to fix it, continuing to be defencive. As my purchase was on-line through one of the deal vendors, I could not avoid paying her, as she already had my money! Clever. She knew this and made it clear she was not refunding me. At this point she didn't even give me the facial which was part of my deal. She told me to deal with the deal site, which I just do not have time to do. I went looking for a salon to get Shellac done - at around 7pm! I first stopped at the salon below Ms. Cruz's store at the back of the salon supply store. Unfortunately, they only do regular nail polish, but they giggled when I showed them my nails and asked if they think they are "done". That must mean something! I ended up going to another salon, just down Eglinton - Kozeta. They squeezed me in so I could have my spa treatment in before my vacation. When they saw the nail job Ms. Cruz did, they just shook their heads. I think what Ms. Cruz needs to learn is that it's not her "16 years experience" that matters. people make mistakes. It's the way you handle them. If you have that experience, you know when you do a terrible job. I felt treated like garbage by her, robbed of my money and a decent manicure and NO FACIAL at all. Unfortunately, I will have to be another "TERRIBLE" review in her 3 years of service that will need to be defended -much deserved.
