    Large Ryan Palmer, unsweet tea.

HTeaO is a refreshing addition to Universal City... and just in time as the South Texas temps reach triple digits. The drinks are customizable, varied in size and add-ons, and the staff is helpful and friendly. My thirst was quenched with a large Ryan Palmer customized with an unsweet tea... cheers!

What's not to love about drinking some yummy HTeaO on a hot TX summer day. My first visit to the Pat Booker location. Went inside to check it out. The service was great & people were helpful. Paid $5.28 for a medium watermelon/ sweet mango Fresca tea & a half priced gallon of the same flavor. It was refreshing & delicious cool drink for today. They have snacks, cupcakes, & they sell t-shirt/hat merchandise too!!

Of course it's HTeaO. The tea is always the same. It's always great. I always judge places based on how equipped and how they manage the happy hour experience. Today is Sunday. Around 3:30 PM. It's fairly crowded and out of ice. They did fill up the ice rather quickly. The store in particular only has one iced dispenser. And mostly has one tea dispenser with a few duplicates. First thing I noticed about the store is that the layout is lacking. It is smaller than all the other stores that I've been to in San Antonio. It is designed poorly and creates bottlenecks all through the customer experience. I did notice there's ample space in the back where the 4 employees are. The entire space could use a redesign that would make the customer experience much better, especially if it is crowded. We were there happy hour and I understand a little little bit busier because the drinks are half off between 2 and 4 PM. I thought it was nice that we didn't have to remind them. It was happy hour. The price came in automatic without the reminder. As other stores I've had to prompt in the past. I'm not sure if corporate thing or the owner. One of the other biggest problems is, they added extra grates below the tea dispensers. And the drainage grates cannot accommodate a large or a huge cup. I have to complete the cup fill with the little sample cups. I'm not sure why they have these here other than two ease mess. It is a mild inconvenience to have to fill up the cup with their little sample cups. The entire experience to purchase 5 cups of tea today took about 10 minutes. I didn't think this was bad at all. The only problem that we had today was upon leaving the store the drink holder ripped, causing 3 of my cups to fall and be destroyed. I let the cashier know in the front, and she let me know that they were supposed to tell me that they had switched the manufacturer of the multi drink holder and that we needed to use caution. However, no one had mentioned anything about this. I inquired about remaking the drinks the young female cashier let me know that I can use the same cups, but when I showed her that they were destroyed with the defective cup holder, she told me I would have to repurchase them. However, the manager was very nice, apologized, allowed me to remake the drinks. The cashier I'm sure is going by what she was told snd not by what made sense. Overall, the experience was as expected. The store overall needs some work on the flow and design to make it more functional for the customer experience. And hopefully corporate HTeaO fixes the problem with their multi drink dispenser and finds a manufacturer that can accommodate their cups. Today, the drink holder cannot handle three of the huge cups. The cheaper cardboard holder isn't worth anything more than than paper. Can't imagine how it will be when it gets a little wet. I'd just buy less if it's not fixed. Parking is pretty atrocious. Very few spots. Busy area next to the busy car wash. Manager experience Store flow Parking Tea taste Over all Cup carrier

Last Bogo of the month for back to school. we love Hteao. Always nice and clean and the employees are friendly and helpful.

Their teas are really good. The water is filtered and you can taste the quality. I buy 1 gal jugs to enjoy all week.

I went with a homemade pop tart that had a strawberry filling. The filling was unbelievably good and the pastry itself, or crust, was flaky and almost croissant-esque. I parked under a tree & entered around the corner. Lots of pastry selections with coffee selections as well. I took my time as a lot looked yummy. I chose a savory pizza bread which had the choice of Pepperoni or just cheese. I chose the Pepperoni. Saw a Cruffin so I asked the clerk what it was filled with & she said Strawberry. Chose that & a featured Lavender VaLatte with Oat Milk. The clerk put the pastries on an aluminum tray lined with a wax paper sheet but I had her bag my Cruffin. She proceeded to make my Lavender Latte & I saw her pouring regular whole milk in the frother so I asked if that was Oatmilk & she stopped herself & said "No it's not. Sorry, I didn't write the order down" or something to that effect. I sat down by the one soda while she made my drink which was smooth & subtly lavender. The pizza bread didn't have a chewy bread texture and was soft. My friend arrived and ordered a large Americano, a Cruffin, Tart -pastel de nata & savory tomato/cheese pizza twist Danish pastry. She loved the pastel de nata as it reminded her of Portuguese tarts. We sat on the wooden tables with benched seating & chairs. The sofas are soft but one fabric chair had stains on it. There are other small tables & barstools with counter seating. Nice natural light flows in. Bathrooms were clean & additional seating was outside on a deck. I could see a nice party outside except the train runs across the street so that could be an issue as they blow their horns coming thru. They sell merch & preserved jellies & honey too.

The building is easy to find, situated next to Randolph Dental and across the street from Take 5 Oil Change. Parking is straightforward. The restaurant shares an outdoor lot with several neighboring businesses, and there was plenty of parking directly in front, including clearly marked handicapped spaces, plus an additional row across from the restaurant. Inside, the space is open, comfortable, and very clean. The interior seating is well maintained, and staff were consistently attentive to keeping the dining area tidy throughout the visit. The setup feels relaxed and inviting, and it is also nice to see that outdoor seating is available if you prefer fresh air. The food was excellent. I ordered the veggie omelette with added avocado and turkey, which was savory and well balanced. The hash browns were well seasoned with a good pepper profile, and the white chocolate latte stood out in particular. It did not have the artificial syrup aftertaste that is common at many places, which made it especially enjoyable. Service is what truly made the visit stand out. Jacqueline was friendly, attentive, and helpful from start to finish. She checked in at the right moments, answered questions without rushing, and kept everything running smoothly. As a thoughtful bonus, I was also given an extra pastry, which was a pleasant surprise and a great example of genuine hospitality. If you are looking for a casual breakfast or coffee spot with a clean environment, quality food, and staff who clearly care about the customer experience, Biscuit House is well worth a visit. Keep up the great work, Jacqueline and Biscuit House Schertz.
