Extremely disappointing experience at Dutch Bros. I came in hoping to redeem my birthday drink just a couple of days late because I've been severely sick due to pregnancy and physically couldn't make it in sooner. I explained this clearly and politely, but the guy at the window--with badly bleached hair, glasses, a grey team member shirt, and an unnecessarily snooty attitude--cut me off and refused to honor it. He didn't offer any empathy, compromise, or even basic kindness. Just a rude tone and dismissive energy the whole time. For a brand that markets itself on being "good vibes only," this was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've had--especially when I'm dealing with pregnancy symptoms and just wanted one small thing to feel better. My favorites are their oat milk drinks, because they taste just as creamy and smooth as regular whole milk drinks! I went to Dutch bros around 9:30PM, 30 mins before closing and we still had wonderful service! The young man that helped us gave me my Mother's Day stickers and helped me stay sugar free in my drink. First of all let me say I'm giving this specific location 1 star. I usually visit the rittiman location love them. Well today I visited this location went to the window and the wait was longer than usual to get acknowledged almost 5min. Anyway. I ORDER the SAME thing everyday. So I know the price $5.90 the lady says oh something is "wrong" with the card reader takes my card then gives it back no signature no nothing. I get to work check my account because something felt off Well SHE ADDED A TIP WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. I always tip. I am so glad they opened one near me! I had only seen them North of Dallas. The customer service has always been awesome no matter what time of the day or night I've gone. Even when there is a line, it moves quickly. I think what sets Dutch Bros apart are all the options they have...hot/iced/blended coffees, teas, smoothies, & energy drinks, you're bound to find something for everyone. They've got so many sugar-free options too! I've gone here every weekend since they've opened and there have been a couple of times I've gone twice in one day LOL! A couple of my favorites are the hot Caramelizer or Iced Cold Brew White Mocha both with soft top & caramel drizzle. Download the app, it's so convenient & you earn points. The only hiccup I've experienced happened tonight. For some reason, the nice employee wasn't able to scan my QR code in the app when I was in the drive-they & she must've tried like 6 times. Dutch bros on Walzem rd started off really well and the customer service was phenomenal even when under pressure. I have never complained but today when I went there was maybe like 3 cars which is nothing compared to how packed it normally is but the customer service was off today. No matter how annoyed you are with the customer ahead of you or the one from this morning when you give bad service that turns customers away. You should always smile and kill people with kindness. I know that that's not always easy but when you work in an industry as such it is your friendliness and good customer service that sometimes bring customers back.
