Was quoted by a different company $4,500 to replace it and that price was unacceptable as it cost me $8,200 to replace all my other windows including a new sliding patio door recently. So I found this company who was able to replace parts of it and save me a lot of money. A tech was sent out to measure and provide an estimate (sorry cannot remember his name) he quoted for all 6 pieces as I asked but told me I only needed to change 2 if I was going to do any of it. The 2 main pieces had dust and dirt in between the panes so I could never get the window clean. After I decided to move forward I scheduled the install and Marlo showed up and was very professional and polite. He did the job very quickly and when he was removing the 2 old glass panes we discovered that they had completely failed as the outer pieces of glass separated from the inner spacer in effect leaving me with single pane glass. A zero star from start to finish. I took my kitchen cabinet panels for glass install. When I…read morepicked them up they were stacked together in plastic wrap. After I removed the plastic wrap, and put the glass against the light, the frosted glass had scratch marks, finger print marks, the frost layer on a panel was not complete and clear silicone was visible on the face of the glass panel. I sent them the pictures and they said to return the panels for correction. I picked up the panels and 2 of them had scratches on the glass. After a verbal disagreement, the manager accussed me of doing the damage on transport and I should have inspected the glass before leaving on the 1st pick up. Why did you wrapp them up if its your practice to show the customer the finished product? Clearly you didnt show me the 1st time. You showed me after I picked the panels up the 2nd time and accussed me of scratching the glass. I called Las Vegas Glass first since someone had mentioned them before. I got a recording and left…read moremy information but didn't expect a call back honestly. I then started calling around to other places since I was desperate to get this window replaced today. Everyone I called came up with outrageous pricing and next week for install, which absolutely wouldn't work since someone had already tried to break in. Much to my surprise Craig called me back about 20 minutes later and I was shocked when he gave me the price and said he could do it that day. Hallelujah!! He kept in contact with me, took the measurements and then returned later with the window. It all was perfect.....until someone tried to break into the same window that night and pulled out some of the rubber molding around the glass. AT LEAST (thanks to Craig) they were not able to get in!! I sent him a picture and he said he would fix it next week. I can't say enough about how I appreciate Craig and saving my home from being broken into. The remodel is almost complete and it would have been beyond disappointing to have someone come in and do damage. It happened once before when the remodel was just started and they burnt things, threw their trash around and left their drug paraphernalia all around so I am very grateful that Craig spared me from that. I have some other glass projects coming up and I will definitely call Craig again! Also, the price was a third of the price I was quoted from another company.....so very reasonable too!!
