So we used this company because they have such good reviews. Terrible mistake. The installers were late and didn't even bother calling or letting us know. Then they clearly rushed through the install. They left dirty hand prints on our freshly painted ceiling. The worst part is the sloppy silicone caulking job they did. They smeared silicone all over our brand new shower tile and the caulking was uneven lumpy and with so many air pockets inside. They even began caulking the top of the glass where it meets our ceiling but then stopped and told us they aren't actually supposed to do the top. It's disappointing and here are pictures as proof. The manager mike came out to try to fix it and recaulk it and had a super annoyed atttitude the whole time. I literally have him on our home security camera on video with sound. My husband called him while he was trying to fix the crappy job his guys did and he was so rude to my husband like we had NO RiGHT to be upset over their terrible install. His agitated rough demeanor made me super uncomfortable. He made comments about how he was here after hours and he wasn't getting paid like it was some huge favor he was doing for us. He tried to remove the silicone from the ceiling but there is still so much residue left so after an hour of him being there we decided to have him leave so we could discuss possibly having them uninstall the whole thing and figure out how to fix this. The owner Chris called me back about the issue and appeared to be confused to what the situation was. He asked to schedule the removal of the glass so we could paint and that's literally not what was going on. Bad listening skills for sure. He acknowledged his guys did a bad job and offered to fix it but with the attitude we experienced from Mike we have ultimately decided to just do it ourselves. I don't want to risk them ruining anything else especially after their attitudes. I actually told Chris to give me 400 dollars so I could just do it myself and he laughed at me telling me that caulking isn't worth 400 dollars. I'm not sure what's so funny because they had no problem with me leaving work early for Mike to come try and fix it so I missed out on money that day and then telling me I basically had to take a day off work so they could fix this because they won't come out after 3 so how is that not worth 400? My time is not as valuable as your time after YOU GUYS MESSED UP? FYI we paid 2000 grand for this. read more
