Can I give zero stars? I've been waiting on a vanity for home depot for weeks. Couldn't get a delivery date to save my life. Finally Thursday night I got a call that my vanity would be delivered yesterday. Yesterday comes and someone from NSD calls saying one of their drivers had a medical emergency and couldn't come yesterday, that it would be delivered today. No big deal, I understand things happen. This morning I got a notification that the vanity was delivered but I never got it. Home Depot was useless and basically told me I would just have to dispute it on my credit card. Can't get in contact with anyone at NSD. Seriously how do they stay in business? Editing to update my review: they did end up delivering the product today! I am upping my review to 3 stars because I did end up getting my product, but felt the communication was not great. I would give less stars if I could. This, to date, has been the worst experience I have ever had with trying to get something delivered. My Echelon treadmill has been in my area for over a month. My delivery date, according to my tracking number, keeps getting scheduled and then goes out for delivery. This has happened FIVE times now.... No call, no show by anyone from NSD. Calling them is impossible as it just sits in the queue until they eventually hang up after saying they will call me back at my call number. Guess what never happens? Yeah, they never call. No big deal because they have an online chat, right? Wrong. On the off chance that you can get anyone to respond on chat they actually can't get in touch with anyone at the terminal. Echelon is also absolutely no help in the matter. Maybe this is just a regional issue but whomever is in charge needs to completely revamp their New Orleans hub. As for me I am refusing delivery if it ever comes and going to avoid NSD at all costs. This is actually one of my only reviews; Typically I just chalk stuff up to someone having a bad day, or being overwhelmed with business, but this company is dreadful. Avoid if possible. Update: After NSD brass got in touch at least people were calling/emailing me. After all this, about 7 weeks after our treadmill was initially out for delivery they finally delivered it. But NSD actually didn't do it, it was a third party local delivery company that refused to bring it to my front door much less into the house. NSD has A LOT to figure out in New Orleans. Customer service is fake. Contacting NSD by phone or email is a waste of time. They don't answer and have you hold for 15 minutes then hang. My full email response was "Thank you for contacting customer service". That was it. I don't think this is an issue for them because the customer does not get to pick if NSD is used. They are a third party that arranges shipments to carriers and companies such as Amazon use them. They must block contact with final customers, and let Amazon deal with any issues. And be assured, don't believe Amazon tracking with them. read more

HORRIBLE!! We bought two loveseats from a company and they used this delivery company for the local delivery. We paid for the "room of choice" delivery which is any room on any floor. For the record, there were 4 options for delivery: 1. Outside Drop Off Scheduled delivery to the outside entrance of your home or building at the ground level. 2. In Home Drop Off Scheduled delivery to the immediate entryway inside your home. 3.Room of Choice Delivery Scheduled delivery to your room of choice on any floor. 4. White Glove Delivery Room of Choice + Full Assembly & Packaging Removal. (The above is copied and pasted directly from the website we bought from. When the guys got here, they told us they would only carry the loveseats to just inside the house, not up the stairs where we needed them. We told them we paid and extra $129 for the "room of choice delivery" because we knew we wouldn't be able to carry them up the stairs. They still refused. I got out my phone and showed them exactly what it says, word-for-word. This went back and forth for about 10 minutes, with the two guys not giving a darn what we said. Finally, one of them got on the phone and called a manager (I assume), but they both spoke in Spanish the entire time so I had no idea what either of them said. I said ok (as they don't come to our area frequently) but told them I had to leave by 3pm for a Dr's appointment that we had waited 2 months to get in for my wife. At 2 I called; they said it'll be closer to 4pm. Ugh! So, my wife had to go by herself to a Dr's appointment I REALLY needed to attend but didn't want to have to wait weeks for a re-delivery to our area. How does a delivery company just schedule a delivery date and time without consulting the client and then send messages and a VM asking to confirm the date and time, but without leaving an option for, "bruh, there's no way in hell that date and time work for me"? It's seldom that I leave reviews but I will when the service has been absolutely horrible. First off this shipping company is very unprofessional and does not stick to the guidelines that they created themselves. I made a purchase (a mattress) on 4/20/23 and my items began its shipping process about 6 days later. This is not the problem because it was already expected on my end. This courier/shipping service contacted me saying that my items will be delivered on 5/4/23, which was also fine because I already knew this was the timeline given by the company. They also stated that someone will contact me 30 min prior upon delivery that day. On 5/4/23 I waited between the hours of 2pm-6pm because that was around the time the delivery guys said they would arrive. Mind you I had to block out my schedule because of this delivery. I waited and no one showed up. I called them the next morning and spoke to a woman named, Carla. She said that the truck had some issues that day, apologized and said they were scheduled to deliver my bed on 5/5/23 between the hours of 2pm-6pm. I understood and waited again to no one showing up. I also blocked out my schedule again 2 days in a row so that I would be available for delivery. To no surprise, no one showed up again. I've been sleeping on the floor now for 2 days now. I was pretty upset at this point and called them only to get no response and the phone going straight to voicemail. The weekend passes and I've been sleeping on the floor going on 4 days straight. At this point I have no idea what is happening because the shipping company would not pick up my call and ignored me. Monday comes and I finally get a call from Carla saying that the delivery guys did show up on 5/5/23 and said I wasn't home so they left. They had my phone number and said specifically that they would call me. Carla was obviously lying to me because I was home all day and night that Friday 5/5/23. I even ordered food for delivery with the worry that I might miss the delivery guys for my bed. She kept insisting that the guys showed up and after a few minutes of back and forth nonsense, she said the delivery guys will be showing up the next day Tuesday 5/9/23. She said "too bad, but the truck is already loaded for that Monday so I would have to wait another day for my shipment. They finally show up on Tuesday and my back and hips are killing me at this point after sleeping on the floor for 5 days in a row. The bed came in tact and was brought into my room. I get an email from the company the next day 5/10/23 to please leave them a positive review for them on Yelp because of their excellent service. The audacity! Well so here I am, leaving them a review although it's not a positive one. In fact to anyone reading this review, I am truly sorry if you are subjected to using this trash ass company for your shipping services but if you have other options, definitely use the alternative. If I had four hands I would give this company, 4 thumbs down. UPDATE and REPLYING: I've been reading some of the other reviews about this company and it's seems like this hack Patrick, who calls himself the manager of this company, replies back with the same generic response to any bad review. Some of these people have some really bad experiences and his same response is, "Please respond back with your tracking number and we will get your delivery in order". Well the product is already here you dummy. What can you possibly do now to accommodate my delivery? Give me back some money that I spent for the product? Here's an idea, just be better at what you do. Hire some competent people and care a little more about your customer service. I ordered a TV from Amazon, and it was assigned to NSD for delivery and scheduled for a certain day. When the day arrived, NSD did not call to schedule the delivery. I could not get anyone on the phone at the company, despite waiting in the queue for as long as possible. Eventually, their system kicks you off the line and tells you that a representative will call you back. However, when the rep calls back, they hang up within seconds of answering the phone. This happened three times. Over the following week, I tried every day to call and schedule the delivery (which is their job, not mine). I could never get anyone on the phone, on the chat, or by email. I was only able to contact them through Amazon. I did this three times. The first two times, the Amazon rep relayed to me that NSD would contact me within 24-48 hours to schedule delivery. It never happened. The third time, NSD admitted that they did not even know where the TV was. It was not where the tracker said it was, nor was it anywhere else they could search. Thankfully, Amazon was able to refund my order and deal with this horrible shipping company on their end. I agree with other reviewers: If you find out that NSD is going to lay even a finger on your item, cancel the order immediately. If you can, give feedback to the retailer as to the reason why: NSD will avoid communicating with you, and when they do, they will try to mislead you and even lie. They will waste your time, and the retailer's. Whether it is incompetence or malice, save yourself the trouble. Also, regarding all the responses from NSD advising people to reach out to some special "help" email address: there really isn't anything they can do. I just don't know what to say anymore about this company. The original damage order was reordered. It was the same company that delivered the shipment. After writing the first review, I got a reply from the manager. We started corresponding via email. He assured me that this delivery would go smoothly. First, I received an email stating that the delivery was made and gave me a time and date. That date was something that I didn't authorize. I emailed the manager to make him aware. He called to schedule an delivery time. On the next day, I got a text that even (in the dark) saying i have a delivery. I called the number back and got a person that did NOT speak English. This is the worst company ever. I hesitate leaving this review as I have not received my generator yet, ordered from Amazon on 11/11/2021, and fear they will continue to hold my item hostage despite being paid for in full. NSD received my item on 12/3/2021 per their own records in their warehouse. I had THREE delivery "appointments" to date, none of which were kept by NSD. I called over and over only to be disconnected by a recording that says you will be called back by the next available agent. The CHAT feature is useless as you wait and wait only to be disconnected either by the person receiving the inquiry after they realize I am mad or by the system when it times out. The one person who did call me two weeks ago gave the excuse that "we are having trouble with our phone system." STILL?? Most of the reviews here are answered by "Pat L." asking that an email be sent to the "Hub Group." I have done that, have included "Pat L" in my emails, and to date have received just one response promising to "contact you as soon as possible to confirm the delivery appointment" by Stacy Harrold. No follow-up, no delivery. I'm not sure why Pat L continues to respond with his invitation to contact the company via email ... he must spend his full time job apologizing for the horrible service instead of actually working to get the packages delivered. I spent the last two days with no power due to living in the hills, no generator, and NSD continues holding my property hostage. This is regarding an item I bought on Amazon and had a scheduled delivery date and time set. The day before it is to deliver I receive a notification about a different time which does not work for me. I call the number as recommended and it says my order will come on the scheduled time but no show! I receive texts saying the shipment is scheduled the following day during the work hours which will not work for me. It took me an hour to get a live person on the phone and was told that the people driving typically contact 24 hours prior to when they can make it (during typical work hours) and there is no flexibility. Asked for a reschedule date and was told per the policy they don't reschedule for 48 hours. Their automated tracking feature shows shipment at destination terminal for over a week, but no indication when/if they might actually attempt delivery. I've left messages, emailed, sat on their online chat app for hours, even reached out to the customer service exec who responds to negative posts on this site, but have received no answer. I get it -- covid complicates logistics and people are ordering from Amazon like crazy. So companies like NSD are feeling the squeeze and struggling to handle the volume. Fair enough. UPDATE: Pat L- I think you need to read my original post as it seems you overlooked all the problems and many hours of phone and online chat conversations in the last few days with your company. My original post was to point out the horrific manner in which I was treated. Anything I wrote that was positive was ONLY directed toward ONE person. And that was only because after so many nasty people refusing to help me, she seemed to understand. So I gave her the benefit of the doubt...too bad it was premature! As I stated in that post, I am now providing an update to the promises made by your employee- Iva M (not I'd'a as you called her). As it turns out- Iva's promises were useless and none of her promises came to be. The uncooperative, nasty manner in phone and online chats continued for 3 more hours of my time yesterday. Last evening- 7/25 at 5:30 pm PST, I received a phone call from 'Robert' in Virginia (8:30 pm his time) who stated the situation had now reached "all the way at the top- and he was going to resolve this immediately." He gave me his direct phone number to call if there were any further issues getting this return satisfactorily accomplished. Robert provided me with the local terminals direct phone # (which is all I had been asking for more than 20 times) and promised me that the return was "re-activated and not erroneously closed out" as I was being told by every rep prior to that. Because it was so late, Robert suggested I call first thing this morning (7/26) and speak directly to the terminal people to schedule. Ok- sounds good right? WELL- not so fast...I have been calling the terminal all day and ONLY get voice mail to leave a message for a call back. I have left several messages and still have not received ONE call back from the terminal. You folks desperately need to completely scrap your entire business model and start over from scratch. Surprised to see so many negative reviews, I suppose folks are more likely to throw something out in the public sphere if their experience was less than stellar. I purchased a new matress from JCP and they selected NSD for the delievery. I was contacted about a week after the purchase and a delivery date was selected by NSD. I was able to reschedule. The delivery acutally happened 30 min before the delivery window and the entire process lasted perhaps 10 min? Couldn't be happier with the service and the interaction. read more

I try calling nsd, I get left on hold for at least 15 minutes at a time and when they finally respond they don't know anything. I canceled my order, never bother with this imitation delivery service. After trying to get ahold of them yesterday to let them know I've canceled the order, I sat on hold for the usual 15 minutes until the automated message said someone would call me back and never did. NSD subcontracted my $5,000 delivery to another service so this is partly a review about that and partly a review about NSD. Both were average at best in this day & age. One person, younger, was brand new and was getting constant criticism from the senior person. I did most of the unpacking as they didn't know what they were doing and I was concerned about knowing where parts were getting put to what piece of workout equipment so I could get it put together later. Delivery was a week later than estimated, no calls until day before and multiple attempts to reach NSD were unsuccessful (just put on hold for 10 minutes before they hang up and say they will call back when it was my turn). My son really wanted a bigger quad and paid for the difference, he is 10. We had the delivery scheduled for a Monday and I took work off to be availabl for the delivery, I never showed up. I tried reaching out to them on Tuesday, and could not get through. I called Amazon and they were able to talk to them, and got it rescheduled for Wednesday. again no show for the delivery. after talking to Amazon again, I got a call from NSD, they said that they can't find my item in their warehouse. The gal called again later and said it was lost and Amazon was being difficult to get a replacemen. After another day of more of the same, I called Amazon on Friday. They reached out to NSD, and they told the rep they found the item and would deliver it on Saturday. Saturday came, and once again no delivery, and my son is in tears because he wants his gift, and he has anxiously waited by the door each delivery day. Don't even know what to tell him. We tried finding the product locally, to no advail, and the item is now nearly $200 more than what we paid and can't afford to replace it. And I can't get ahold of NSD. First of all, I am not one to give 1 star reviews. So lets start with the initial delivery, I ordered a fridge. They gave me a delivery day, which i stayed on location until 6p waiting. It never came. When i went to check the tracking it still said the correct day. The next day i check the tracking number and it has changed to a week out. Okay, well things happen, ill just wait at my shop for this fridge on that day. Nope, shows up on a completely random day that had no correlation with the tracking #. Well at least i have a fridge and I had some staff there that could monitor it. Well lets just say "handle with care" was not in their vocabulary. The next day when i go and unpackage my new fridge, the whole top of it is indented to a extent of damaging the inner workings of the fridge. This made it unusable, obviously. Now we go to get it returned. Well, the hotline it gives you to call leads to a 3 hour wait just to be disconnected. Trust me, so far i have wracked up 7 hours of wait time. Luckily I have the patience of a immortal sloth. This company is ran so purely, how could home depot want to work with such a incompliant company? Further update: spent last evening putting the legs on. This morning, a friend came over to help my husband flip the table over. Turns out that it was damaged in transit. Pictures show that the damage to the table align with a hole in the box, which we discovered after seeing the hole in the table. Words cannot convey how upset I am with this delivery company. Update: air hockey table was finally delivered four days after scheduled delivery (I truly believe that was only because I was a squeaky wheel). Never received the courtesy call that was supposed to occur one half hour prior to delivery. This company has a terrible business model, due to really horrible communication deficits. NSD shipping is the worst I have ever encountered. I took a vacation day because someone had to be available to receive the package. I checked the status of delivery the morning of, and it was "out for delivery" at 4:00am. Except, is was never on a truck and now we are "scheduled for delivery" in 8 days. They are costing me two vacation days and their "customer service" could not understand why I was upset by this. read more

We purchased a dresser for our sons nursery from Home Depot and I guess they use this shipping company. The dresser was supposed to be delivered on 2/24 and the driver did show up. My dad was visiting and told the driver to put the dresser by the garage. He had a piece of paper and said he had to find it on the truck. 10 minutes later the driver was gone and no dresser was left. This was over a week ago and my husband has contacted nsd 3 times this week including the "extra mile" email address we found here and they are just stringing us along saying they can't reach the local terminal and will contact us to reschedule. The shipping updates say unable to reach customer which is a LIE. We have not been contacted once by these people. I am 9 months pregnant and we need this dresser for his room asap. I also have called several times and cannot seem to speak to a real person. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Do not use them. read more
