I saw they had appointments available on the website the next day, so I stopped by first thing the next morning, which was a Sunday (thank you for being open on Sunday!!). I overheard the person behind the counter telling someone on the phone that they were overbooked and had limited staff available that day, so I figured they wouldn't be able to check out my car. However, once I talked to them, I was told that they could look at it if I was able to drop it off and pick it up later in the day, before 5pm. That was fine with me, so I left the car with them. I got a call less than an hour later where they told me that my rims were bent, so a balance would not fix the vibration. They didn't charge me anything to look at the car and give me a diagnosis, and that diagnosis allowed me to be able to move forward with addressing the situation. I appreciate them taking the time to look at my car so quickly, which allowed me to arrange to install my spare set of rims before my track day at Watkins Glen the following day even though I was several states away from home. I've heard good things about Firestone Auto Care from friends of mine in other states, and it appears their good customer service is consistent across their locations.

A bad nightmare happened after our first night of our roadtrip vacation. My tire was flat!…read more I had just filled the fires with air the day before. I googled tire shops by the hotel we were staying - luckily Horsehead is a pretty convenient town in terms of shops and stores. Mavis popped up and I spoke with a guy named Jon. Right away I could tell he's more on the thoughtful side. He told me not to drive on a flat tire because it would ruin the rim and tire. I told him I was able to inflate the tire back and it seems to be holding for now. He said to bring it in and they would check the tire for me. I explained it seemed to me like air was leaking out of the valve stem. Once there the tech put it on the lift and sprayed the tire down and checked for nails and leaks. Around the valve stem was fine but apparently the stem itself was loose. He used a tool to tighten it and voila... My problem was solved. Great attitude and helped me out big time and they didn't even charge me for their service!

I can own one?" That was the beginning of the dream come true. Roadmasters' Car Concierge, Raymond, found a 1927 Model T, talked to the seller, had his mechanic talk to the seller, negotiated a price for the extras tires, went and looked at it with his mechanic (with me and my husband), hauled it back to Roadmasters, had his mechanics go over it and service it, and had his Model T guy give me lessons. They do everything! I would have never bought this type of car without knowing people that knew what they were doing and could service it and store it during the winter. I am living the dream that was mirely only a distant thought for years. (And I thought I wanted a golf cart!...this is so much more fun :) I'm so lucky to be a Model T owner that when I ride along the road, everyone smiles... but their smile is not bigger than mine!! I was provided with a list of several "we haven't had a chance to get to it" variety of excuses, ranging from "you have not dropped off the key" (I have, and it was found on their premises) to "one of our techs has quit and we are short-handed". There is always a dead silence on the other end of the line when I call to check on the TT's status, followed by "Which car? oh, that one... well, no, we haven't looked at it yet, let me check with (whomever) on that, we will call you back, we have your phone number".
